I like that they have vending machines in and by the office, I had to change rooms due to the air conditioner and the fans in the bathrooms don't work. Outside is pretty clean,, the room I was moved to was had the last travelers shirt and a baby toy in the bed skirt. Pool was closed due to weather and lack of chlorine, office ladies were nice

Very quiet for the most part, afforded but wasn’t pleased that we weren’t allowed to swim, said pool was down for maintenance but clearly the girl who worked there, her family was in there and there wasn’t room for anyone else and then when they left nobody else was allowed in there… there’s no time open time closed sign or hours Drove 200 miles and it was hot, specifically rented this hotel for the outdoor pool but we was locked out!

Soon as I walked in room smelled of mold/musk, understandable for old hotel, but when walked into the bathroom their was a dirty wash cloth in the tub, 2 dirty used towels in the floor, used container of soap in the tub, not to mention the used soap bar ontop the shower ledge, their was half bag of pizza rolls and 2 pot pies in the freezer, a pop/fountain drink in the fridge! So bathroom wasn’t cleaned and the fridge, night stand had a broken drawer they just sealed closed, pool still being worked on. Called front desk for fresh towels since the other ones were still on the ground dirty (they weren’t even restocked) girl brought cleaner with her to have MYSELF clean the tub, the wash cloths she gave us to use were stained with gosh knows what, their was trash still in the trash cans too, piece of the fridge shelf on the floor, never had this kind of issue.

The price was good. Under $100.00 for the night. Knights Inn is pet friendly and right off the main road. The pool was not open, so we found other things to do in Ashland. There was no breakfast available so we had to eat at a restaurant. The room was okay. Basically clean, but not deeply clean like you would expect from a business catering to people. There were several things that weren't clean, such as the desk chair, the bathtub, and the walls looked like they've seen some better days. Overall, the room definitely showed some wear and age. There were trash cans chained to the building. One was near our room. I didn't like that, but the flies had a good meal. The staff was nice, but I probably wouldn't stay there again!

The workers are very helpful down to earth and nice could use better cleaning some of the rooms needed more cleaning went to do laundry on site and had a problem drying laundry I would put laundry in someone else take laundry out to put there's in $4 later clothes still not dry

Pool was closed and under repair. Rooms are worn with many issues (dirty floors, holes in doors and walls, molding missing). Some linen was found soiled once we checked into room. The customer service was excellent and staff was nice. We needed a clean blanket and staff accommodated with a new comforter. Same with hair dryer.

Perfect for a nights sleep after a long drive. It was quiet and clean-ish. The floor was dirty, but the sheets, towels and shower were very clean. The TV remote had no batteries and when I had batteries, the remote didn't work the TV. If I were working in the area I could stay here for a week. They're are zero food options nearby. The closest thing is Waffle House for food. Everything in the general area is closed by 10pm, including the gas stations and convenience stores. The front desk lady was very nice and welcoming. The parking lot is dark. Thankfully, the parking is 4 feet from the doors to the rooms. Overall, it's not bad. It's not a vacation resort. Its a good place if you need a bed for the night, or a place to stay if you're working in the area for a bit.

Very reasonably priced, unfortunately that was about it for positives. When checking in, we drove overnight and arrived at approximately 6:15am for check-in, the lady who checked us in came off as very rude. Once we got to our room, the comforter had cigarette burn holes throughout it, the sheets were stained pretty bad, the jacuzzi was very dirty, the small body wash was half used, used bars of the small soaps in the shower, shower handles broken, sink stopper was broken, the shower wasn't cleaned, a sizeable gap in the room door, the toilet was clean looked as though it may have been new. The other two front desk ladies I spoke with were pleasant and helpful.

Rooms are always dirty. I've stayed here 3 times now and every room I have gotten has been dirty. Hair on the floors, beds and even in the shower. The sink countertop was dirty and the heat/air units are filthy and the washrags were stained. If you plan to stay here you might want to bring a broom, mop, cleaning rags and some sanitizer and might as well bring some clean sheets, towels and washrags. It is ridicules! I'm done with this place.

Hot water didn’t work. Tub and shower were dirty. There was some sort of questionable body fluids around the outside of the toilet and a pubic hair on the sink faucet. There was a dead cockroach in the floor as you walk in. Visible dirt and debris layering the floor. Carpet was extremely sticky. It reeked of wet dog and stale cigarette smoke. Bed bugs crawling on the chairs and all over the sheets. Checked out within two hours of check in absolutely covered in bites.

Bugs in room/on bed. Sheets dirty, had to get clean sheets from front desk. We reserved 8 rooms. I realize this is an older chain but age & decor has NOTHING to do with cleanliness. We are well aware of what a "Dump" is as that is part of our business. This property should be an embarassment to Expedia and is an absolute stain on the reputation of the fine city of Ashland KY. Booked the room last minute & we were happy to get a jacuzzi room. Check in was very friendly and efficient. When we pulled up to our room, there was an overflowing trash bag outside our door (which was still there when we left). The chain lock showed signs of the door being kicked in at some point and there was a fist sized hole in the bathroom door. Bed and linens were clean but there were long black hairs in the shower. We wiped up spilled water next to the bed and the towel was black from the floor being dirty. Mattress was extremely hard. All-in-all, the staff was friendly, we were thankful for a last minute reservation, but the cleanliness was lacking.

Would not recommend staying here, I personally will not be back. I booked a room several months before in advance, specified a non smoking room. Once we get there we are given the keys and told how amazing our room would be but they had failed to mention we would now be in a smoking room. The smell of smoke was immediate and we went to ask to switch to a non-smoking room (which we booked). I was given a can of air freshener and told there were none available. We I know there were no vacancies but there were several months to reach out before showing up to relay they oversold the non-smoking room.

A bit less than what you'd expect from a budget hotel. Outdated rooms, walls very thin so you hear the people in the rooms next to you loud and clear. I reserved a King smoking 2 days ahead and when arrived they didn't have one ready so I took a queen and was charged the same. I want be staying there again.

Our room was fine but the toilet would not flush and the plunger they gave us was worn out so it would not work. Finally not being able to wait any longer I flushed it and it ran all over the floor and all over my clean clothes I was going to shower and put on. Please have house keeping check these little thing that could have been fixed before it was rented. Love staying here but this stay should be a free night because it was really bad

I had wanted a handicapped room with a queen bed. We got in late and our handicap room was gone. We were given a full size bed in a room that the toilet was too low, I needed help getting off the toilet. I couldn't use the tub. The front door looked like it had n been kicked in. We didn't feel safe.

The staff was very nice and friendly. This is an older motel, but was clean. It had the amenities I needed. If you're the type that needs new and fancy, this is not the place for you. I, however, was very comfortable and would definitely stay here again.

First room supposed to be a queen and it was double beds. Went to front desk and they put us in a king room with jacuzzi tub. Carpet was soaking wet. Third room and we stayed because at this point it was 2 am. I slept in my clothes on top of the bedding. What little i slept interupted by drunk who kept falling into our door. Too run down for me to even take a shower there. Checked out asap. Refused to stay a second night. Front desk lady was very nice and tried. But the place is falling apart.

The room was satisfactory, it had 2 clean beds. The facility is old and they are doing renovations. We were a little disappointed they didn't have breakfast because the listing said continental breakfast was included. However the price was cheap so I'm not mad about it. The staff was very friendly!
