Delta Hotels by Marriott Ashland Downtown

I was very pleased with this hotel. There were two bars and a nice steak restaurant as well as event spaces. We checked in on a Sat night and there was a band playing in the “guitar bar” and an anniversary party in the upstairs ballroom. People were dressed nice and having fun. It seemed like a happening place, but was not crowded at all. We ended up in the bourbon bar upstairs where it was more quiet for a drink before bed. In the morning we grabbed some coffees at the Starbucks in the lobby. The room was nice and clean. Would def come back if we are in the area again.

We really liked the location and the comfy bed, clean room, and friendly staff. The parking was short due to a large party of high schoolers taking pictures for a dance. Also only one elevator was operational, but we never had to wait long for the one. I would definitely stay here again if we were in the area.

My only concern was with the booking as it seemed we where getting the room with a balcony as what we thought was advertised and we got a very very nice room but wasn’t the same as we had hoped for our first anniversary! All in all great dinning room wonderful staff excellent service and loved the guitar bar !! We look forward to another stay hopefully with our view of the bridges we missed out on this time !

Very modern and clean, located in the heart of downtown Ashland. The hotel bar/restaurant and outdoor seating were fantastic too!

Patking is a problem. Wirh such limited parking tge priperty needs valet

Bathroom shower had black mold and when housekeeping lead was told she already knee about it. So why are they putting guest in this room until taking care of. Rude response.

We didn't have breakfast, however the service was very good, rooms were clean and comfortable.

Front desk staff awesome. Great location. Nice hotel. Great location. Only negative was housekeeping, they left an old box of take out food in our mini frig which smelled really bad and they did not re-stock our coffee/tea basket. Other than that everything was great.

First room we checked into was still dirty from guest before. We checked in around 530p. Went to front desk they gave us a new room and a 10$ gift card to their market. We ended up spending 12$ at the market they just called it even so that was nice. Front desk people were friendly and pleasant

Our room had a damp feeling in the air and it smelled like sweat. I felt like I was in a locker room. The pillows smelled of sweat and were very uncomfortable so I didn't use

Renovated rooms and hotel. Looks like new. Clean and great staff.

A/C couldn’t get or keep our room cool. Everything else was nice.

Overall it was a great stay! The only issue was having to switch rooms because our TV wouldn’t work.

The hotel staff and guest services were fantastic. However there were things out of their control that were disappointing. There was no internet/wifi/tv access the entire 4 days. They had access in the lobby but not in guest rooms. I understand it could be difficult to get things fixed over a holiday ( but it had been down since at least the Friday before). So we couldn’t even turn on the tv for white noise to drown out the road construction noise from the street below. Overall we were just happy to be there, and the room was comfortable despite the street noise and no tv the entire stay.

.Breakfast should be included for the nightly rate. Rooms are very small. Carpet in our room needed updating.

Room was very nice, but no microwave in room. Also we asked for a handicapped room & it was on the 10th floor. Getting off the 10th floor in case of an emergency would be very difficult if jandicapped.

I liked how close to the bustle of downtown Ashland it was, and most things about our stay were very enjoyable. To get nit-picky about our room - the curtains were destroyed - the pull rods were off, sitting on the windowsill. I had to put them back on their track to be able to close them. This made it hard to close the curtains all the way.

Beds are always comfortable. Our heat didn’t work and they were great about making sure we got a new room quickly and were comfortable. The staff is super nice and I’ve never had a bad stay.

Everybody working here was excellent.I don't think I could have made it to the concert without their help.By offering me a wheel chair to use, My sister was able to push me to the concert and back and around the hotel when I need it. Staff was a great help!

Front desk staff was pleasant and welcoming. Accomodatiins had been made online so check in was quick and efficient. The room was clean, comfortabke and well apportioned. We had dinner at The Winchester and were pleasantly surprised with the ambiance and menu options. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner before returning to the room and falling asleep quickly. The bed was very comfortable and afetr a good nights sleep check was just as efficient as check in. We would absolutely stay here again.

I paid for a room through Expedia and the amount was taken from my account that day. A few days later I checked into the hotel and noticed the next day they had charged my card again, but for more than the room costs. This overdrew my account and caused an overdraft fee. I called the hotel and they told me this was a holding fee and I’d get it reimbursed within 7-10 business days. That’s fine, but I feel they need to let guests know of this charge so they make sure they have the money to do it! It has been 6 days and I have yet to see that money released to my account.

Staff were super helpful, I needed my ticket for a show at the Paramount printed out and the business office printer available to guests was out of ink. I panicked, they front desk staff had me send my ticket to an email and printed it for me! I enjoyed the show, loved the boneless chicken wings at the restaurant as well.

Horrible experience. Stood ten minutes waiting for desk clerk to check-in. Never a greeting when we came in/out. Room was broiling hot. A/C wouldn't work. Phone had no dial tone. Wifi out. No ice on two floors. No one working in bar to get ice. Only one elevator working. Manager supposed to call; never did. Ungodly mattresses and pillows (literally went out and bought pillows). Would have gladly moved to another hotel if Expedia rules allowed it. Final blow was no one at coffee stand in a.m. to BUY a coffee most hotels offer for free. For almost $200/night, they must be kidding!! I would NEVER stay there again. Incredibly embarrassed for the Marriott brand with this MESS!!

We stayed in Ashland to attend a JJ Grey concert at the Paramount. It was so convenient, right down the street. We walked there in a few minutes.

Street was under construction and was not the safest.

Jewel in Downtown Ashland. Room was clean and spacious. All staff was very friendly ready to help in any way.

I felt safe. The location is close to many restaurants.

Have stayed many times and will book again when in town. Close to restaurants and within walking distance of theater for concerts. Hotel restaurant is also good. Marvelous breakfast place also within an easily walkable block from the front door. Desk staff are always punctual and friendly. Worth the price to be so close to all the things needed for the shows.

Excellent hotel stay, second stay there since it became the Delta by Marriott. A little congested right now due to construction on Winchester Ave, plenty of restaurants nearby with amazing food. Rooms were clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Front desk staff was exceptionally friendly.

Restaurant had no staff for breakfast Thursday morning but was open.

The hotel was great, the bar was great. I can't speak for the restaurant. We walked in to eat breakfast and gave the waitress our drink order after 20 minites of waiting, we left. The waitress never returned and there was only 1 other table besides us. The menu looked good and I've heard good things about it but service wasn't up to par.

This is an excellent hotel. We have stayed here prior, but this time tried the restaurant at the hotel. Very pleasantly surprised, food & service were well above average. Drinks were also very good. We will stay & eat again, whenever the opportunity arises.

Nice property only negative was no free breakfast. Really hate spending extra to stay at a nice hotel only to have to pay for breakfast.

We have always supported the Winchester restaurant and delta hotel(plaza most my life) the Winchester has always provided good service, at the table the food has always been fresh and tasty, We ordered room service which our order was politely received and correctly prepared and quickly at our door, the waiter who brought it was quick,professional,polite. The wine was mid which is what we asked for, the food wasn’t good at all we only picked at our house salad and ate our late night junk food a lil early with our glasses of wine.we are hoping it was an off night, given the past it’s what we excepted to be an off night so we signed for our food and our bottle of wine, with me asking the question to everyone about charges to my card and was told nothing would be due untill check out, That’s wasn’t the case I woke up to several times my card being ran, with me telling them and asking about charges then the opposite happening is why I keep my money in my savings account and will not set it up to be an auto back up, this was at 645 am first attempt, a few others over the next hour before I realized the notification sounds from my phone for my account, We woke all the way up cleaned up like we had not been there like we always do everywhere we stay, proceeded to check out, Bad food, the floors very dirty in The room hallways and lobby,trash cans over flowing,the mattresses hard as a rock and pillows go flat, shower was awesome,Paid in full for bad food,ALL polite great employees
