I WILL NEVER stay at the Econo Lodge in Burlington again and I would not recommend it to anyone. The lobby smelled funny when I walked in. There were strange looking people in the parking lot. When I got to door 3 to go to my room, roaches were crawling on the outside. But the worst part was the room. The room smelled old and moldy. When I got got into the bed ,I immediately started itching and realized I was getting bit by bedbugs. When I pulled the covers back I discovered the bedbugs and saw that bed was full debris. It was truly horrible. I checked out after being in the room for about an hour. The best part was the front desk staff Nick. I explained to him the problem, showed him the pictures. He apologized and proceeded to process my refund. The place needs to be fumigated and totally renovated.

My stay at EL I-40 is always an enjoyable experience. When there is an issue staff accomodates efficently. It's not an upscale hotel but it does provide the casic need.
