Great location. Run down and poorly run. Bring your own butter. Mystery charge four months after stay The good first, got upgrade from balcony to terrasse. Housekeeping had cleaned properly but there was a lot of old grime in the kitchen and the bathroom and we never dared sit on stained sofa. The bathroom had dripping single faucets from the 70s. Mattrasses were tire. Bedroom is without window. Ceiling transmits every step from above. Four chairs are two too many around cramped table. Wish we had brought own towels. On check-in at about 17 h, we had to wait nearly 10 minutes for the receptionist to turn up, he spoke no Dutch and limited English. We paid € 30 tourism tax and resort fee on check-in. Exactly four months later my card was hit with a mystery charge of € 21.49, awaiting resolution. Didn't use the pool as breakfast was operating on limited hours, so pool opening at 9 and breakfast closing at 10 didn't leave time for a swim. Evening closing was also earlier (19 or 20 h) instead of 22 h listed on web site. On the first day, we arrived 9:25 to find scrambled eggs and a few other things not replenished until 9:55. But there were cakes and some freshly baked bread. 3rd day, two men were operating breakfast. Moldy sliced bread, scrambled eggs with whole egg yolks you could bouce off the floor. 3rd and 4th day no butter (couldn't be bothered to send someone to the supermarket). Observed waitress dropping silverware to the floor and then laying table with it day 4.

Great place to stay with a family. Very quiet and casual. Good breakfast, pool was great for kids. Bike rental on site. Stairs to the upstairs bedrooms were a little steep and one bedroom a little small, but everything worked out great.
