They were doing construction every morning right outside my window and didn’t say anything when we checked in. Housekeeping came never picked up or re made the beds. Stayed for a week never changed sheets. Ice machine broken all week. Only one elevator in service all week. Will never stay at a Hyatt place again.

The night staff was very nice and helpful. There was blood on the comforter and had not been washed properly. There were not enough blankets and the hotel had ran out. The breakfast was very disappointing. The eggs were most definitely powdered as the water used was sitting in the bottom of the pot. Everything looked overcooked or just unappetizing. I was very disappointed in Hyatt Place. The bed was hard and uncomfortable, making me feel I had been beat up the next morning. The “bar” and drinks were also disappointing as there was not an actual bar tender or drinks mixed when ordered. The drinks were premade and in bottles poured into a glass. They were not very good and were too highly priced. Luckily, Hyatt Place was very close to the Highland Games we were attending. Doubtful I would recommend or stay there again. For the money I paid, I was very disappointed.

The staff was great…. The breakfast area was really cute but the food was not great at all…cold, not appealing…the hotel only had one elevator working it was fine the beginning of our stay but as the week went on the hotel got busier so the one elevator caused a wait…. The room was spacious, it was clean, but could have been better… lots of dark wood or black trim that needed to be dusted better… the shower pressure was great…. Lots of places to eat and shop around the hotel … the pool was outside and nice

Hotel is in the middle of construction - would have been nice to know this prior to booking. When we went to check in at 9:30/10pm there was no one at the front desk & with all the construction in the lobby/hall - it was not a good impression. Thankfully we were only staying one night because we were informed construction noises would start at 8am. Breakfast is served in the middle of the construction area - not very appetizing. Overall - not a great stay - I do a lot of research/read reviews & star ratings before I book hotels - this one was disappointing.

Our room was dirty. It smelled dirty, the carpet was dirty, the couch had stains on it. The staff did not truly make me feel welcome at check in. The food staff was not friendly. I went to the front desk to buy a water and the woman behind it seemed to be engrossed in a conversation with friends who showed up and walked off with them. I got the water and just left with it because she never came back. The property was also under renovation while we were there. Had we known that before we booked, we wouldn't have stayed there. Noises from the crew above us at 8am on a Sunday morning. Never again will I stay here.

I was in town for a few nights for a family member's funeral. The room was very roomy (king bed with sofa). Plenty of counter space and a nice size tv viewable from both the couch and bed. The bed was comfortable. Maybe hotels don't offer this anymore, but there was no lotion which i badly needed. The breakfast was just ok; mostly carbs. The yogurt was good, but it was sweetened, not plain. Greek yogurt would be nice. The eggs were typical powered "scrambled" eggs (not real), so skipped those. Every day, the bananas were way overripe. There was a good selection of Tazo teas which i appreciated since I'm not a coffee drinker, and real half and half. The location is good with several stores and restaurants not too far away. The room and hotel were updated and nice and clean. My room window was facing the road, so it was a bit noisy with some of the traffic. Too bad the pool is outdoors. I was looking forward to relaxing in an indoor pool. Overall, nice stay.

I’m not a fan of the sink being outside the bathroom as I did not want to wake my kids while I was washing my hands or needed to use the mirror and needed to turn on the light. Also, there were stains on the couch and the bathroom was small. The beds felt like twin size beds and not doubles.

Cons: The thermostat constantly switched to heat even though it was 86 degrees outside. The king size bed didn’t have king pillows. The layout of the room was weird. Carpet at sink was gross. Tiny baby toilet and dropped ceiling in the bathroom is a serious design flaw. Pros: Comfy bed and clean room.

Love the room arrangement with a sleeping area partially divided from a living room space. Great big comfortable couch for relaxing was our favorite spot for watching the big screen TV. Breakfast wasn’t the exact same choices each day, and everything was fresh and very tasty!

Property is close to major roads and close to lots of shopping and dining. The HVAC seems to be a disaster though. When we got to our room the temperature was cold so we turned the thermostat to 74. Heat came on and it blew warm air. After a while noticed the unit was blowing cold air so we turned it up another degree or two. Heat came on and it seemed ok. After a while we noticed it was blowing cold air again and A/C compressor was on again. We went out for a while and came back and it seemed cold. We turned the heat up some more and it came on. Went to bed with heat on 80 degrees. Noticed that every other time the HVAC came on it would blow warm air and alternately would kick on the A/C compressor and blow very cold air. All night we kept freezing or baking every other time it came on. Complained the next morning and they moved us to another room. In the new room we left the thermostat on 74 and hoped for the best. It would blow warm air some of the time and kick on the A/C compressor and blow cold sometimes. With it being chilly outside the units should never have kicked on the A/C. Normally a thermostat would kick on the warm air, shut off and wait for cooldown of the room and turn on some more warm air. Huge waste of electricity to constantly turn on the A/C compressor in the middle of winter! They were apologetic about it and took off some of our stay. If we had time we would have moved to another hotel.

Ray at the front desk/Placery was a DELIGHT. He knew my coffee and found me every morning to give it to me. I was absolutely the BEST. You also have a very lovely young man (also tall!) in the evenings. Enjoyed the hotel and people very much. We’ll be back!

Wonderful! Checkin took 2 minutes. The employee was waiting for my family of 6 with our key in hand upon our late night arrival and provided extra clean blankets. Even with some construction going on, you’d never even know because the hotel did a great job keeping the work completely separate from the guests.

Attended a softball tournament for my daughter's team on this trip. The hotel was very accessible to stores, restaurants, movie theater and much more. The convenience of having everything nearby made this trip much easier and less stressful compared to putting up with the hotels located in Nashville, in which was our other option, I was extremely happy I chose this hotel. The hotel staff was excellent and made my stay feel very welcomed. I will definitely take high consideration next time I am in town and will refer friends and family to this hotel.
