Everything was just great! Nice safe location. Easy parking right in front of my room. The room was large, clean, comfortable beds, nice clean bathroom, a/c works great. Decent price, would definitely stay here again.

You get what you pay for. Stayed here for a night as I was visiting family and wanted privacy. For me ALONE, the hotel is more than adequate to get my one night sleep, shower/hygiene purposes, and charging up the electronics. The hotel isn't the most secure as the rooms are accessible to anyone walking on the street. I didn't see any security and with the amount of transients in the area please beware of your surroundings. Budget hotel with updated rooms. Room was somewhat clean, big screen tv a plus, and overall I would stay here again if I needed a place to sleep for the night.

The property location was perfect for us, we did enjoy the pool. There was really no breakfast and the rooms needed maintenance. Tubs were in bad shape, there was mold and mildew around the baseboards. Rooms did seem to be cleaned and there was cleaning staff everyday but definitely needs maintenance.

Website and property signage offer a work out facility. There is no workout facility. Our room was not cleaned during our stay and the mattress was rock hard. The pillows were so bad I went to Costco to buy new pillows.

Needed a place near Glendale for my niece's wedding and Serene fit the bill. Rooms were decent size, beds were fine, and the complimentary breakfast was better than average. Only downside was that the TV didn't work and we were told to unplug it to reset everything which fixed the problem. The room phone didn't work either, but no big deal these days. We didn't use the pool, but one family did and said the water was freezing. Didn't get towels after the first day, but I requested them the second day and the maids delivered a new set and also made the beds. Nice mall location in a good section of the Phoenix area with a Portillo's just across the parking lot.

This place was dirty. Several people were complaining about the cleanliness of linens. The floors were dirty. Just not at all the best quality for the high price. We’ve stayed at hotels that were clean and just overall excellent for a way better price. I really thought that because we were charged so much, we were staying somewhere that was at least clean and in better condition. Sadly, there were several others that were unhappy. Unfortunately, I doubt that this review will help because I doubt a discount or any type of refund is given. And I don’t know if we would have had any other option to rent somewhere else at the last minute. How do these type of situations get resolved?

I was not pleased with the condition of the room. The floor was dirty had crumbs at desk base, the bed was very hard and no amount of pillows helped. The hair dryer was fried, the mini fridge started whining whenever it needed to start the cooling. The front desk lady was outside and after pushing the bell 3 times, she did appear. What did I like - the bath wasihing items

This property is in a great location, with close proximity to many restaurants, shops (including Arrowhead Mall), and the freeway. Many people stay in this area for Spring Training and is walkable to the field. Customer service was great- I interacted with 3 different female staffers and all were friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The property itself is average, I didn’t take advantage of the free breakfast or use the heated pool so I can’t speak to those. It was disappointing that the TV in my room didn’t work, but it wasn’t for lack of trying. Hopefully maintenance can ensure all are working before any more check-in’s. The beds weren’t terribly uncomfortable (the bedding was actually great), but there is no box spring. The mattress would move around constantly and the large aluminum bed frame is noisy. Lastly, the floors were filthy. The bottom of my socks turned dark pretty quickly after checking in. I had slippers with me so I managed without a housekeeping call, but figured it was worth mentioning.

The minute we walked into the lobby, from the smell to the crack head standing outside and the hooker trying to get business. We decided to check in anyway because it’s not in a bad area. We got our room and as soon as we opened the door we knew we had to leave. The floors were not swept or mopped, no towels at all, the bathroom was filthy, the sheets were also dirty and the hair all over the bed was a big no for us. We immediately walked back to the lobby and demanded a refund. We deove literally around the corner and spent $100 dllrs more at the Hampton Inn but it was worth it. I read the reviews on here are and I feel they’re not honest. Do not believe any of the good reviews on here. Spend the extra money for your own safety. We sure did, bed bugs are not worth it.

The hotel is very clean and all of the staff are so nice. Breakfast was subpar. We stayed 4 nights and they never brought clean towels or fresh linens. The garbage was also a little overflowing, but nobody came to the room to offer any housekeeping. The shower has great water pressure, but not very hot water, and there is black mold on the ceiling and some of the stainless steel. All of this would be ok if the beds were comfortable. These are the very worst mattresses that I have ever slept on. They are uncomfortably firm, and are sitting on a metal frame that creeks when you move. ALL NIGHT LONG!! The people above us had kids on roller scares and running back and forth until midnight and you hear every sound. We will never stay here again mainly because it was 4 nights of the worst sleep we have ever gotten.

The hotel is in a great location but our room was not so great. When we walked in the forst thing we noticed was the couch was dirty but could have been stains. The bathroom also seemed clean but then we noticed the faucets hadn't been wiped. There was a French fry and a nail clipping behind the bathroom door, and the shower floor had a strand of hair. The toilet did have a sanitary strip on the cover but with everything else we found it made us question if the toilet was actually sanitized and we hoped the bedding was changed before we checked-in. We would have requested a new room but we arrived late night and had a very early morning. The only pros were that the concierge was very polite and friendly.

Air conditioning was extremely loud. Bed springs would pop if you moved. Neighbors in the next room kids started slamming doors and screaming at 630 in the morning, Although not the business fault. More of an expensive motel. Wouldn’t call it a hotel. Wouldn’t stay there again.

Decent recently upgraded motel. Looks like an old America's Best. Bed was comfortable but it was a sheet metal frame that was a little noisy. TV was not good. Kept freezing and buffering. Other than that it was a great stay in a nice area.

The staff was very nice and did what they could to be accommodating. The bed made so much noise every time I moved. The next morning I asked the staff if all the beds were this noisy. They asked me what room I was in. When I told them my room number they said they have had other complaints about the same bed in my room. If it's a known problem it should have been taken care of before.

Noise from the beds and noise from outside. Also, the curtains do not block outside light very well. The beds are quite noisy if you move on them, the metal construction makes it sound like thunder sound effects from a movie, it takes some time to get used to that. We stayed 4 days, I would think it would leave a less understanding experience for single night visitors. Also, the $100 "incidentals" fee deposit was a surprise, seeing as they don't really have incidentals

Checked in at 2:35 and was hit with a $35 early check in charge. Employee told me it was because they had to get room ready. Ironically once I paid it, the room was magically ready. TV in the room didn’t work, no cable and bathroom door lock was broken. The free breakfast downstairs consisted of microwaved bacon, “egg” patties that made a few of my friends sick and coffee machines that were broken, with milk that smelled like rotten cheese.

We had a mixup in the beginning, but Martha was amazing and fixed it for me. I don’t know the manager’s name, but he is also another amazing person made me feel like I was one of the family. I would definitely stay here again the next time I come to Arizona.

Noone at front desk both times I went to lobby area. Reservation not in system. TV did not work. Phone in room and lamp didn’t work. Said they would take care of issues and/or move us to another room, but no follow up. Hotel is run down and staff lacking CSR skills.

Clerk said that I had to leave a $100 deposit and that I would get it back. I stay there several 3-4 a month and haven’t been asked before for this. And he said because of some past incidents it’s now required. I think they made this up, it was a hand written sheet in a plastic Holder. Wouldn’t wave depeosit even for their regulars.

Overall a great place to stay, location and building were wonderful, but the staff were hard to stomach. The hotel is close to shops, restaurants, and a hospital. The building was sturdy and the rooms were spotless. However the receptionist at the front counter was not friendly during check in or check out, personally thought she had a bad day, but soon found out she acted this way during both encounters. I would suggest updating the site as well because the breakfast option said that it was served weekdays only, however they served during my stay.

Close proximity to many restaurants, the mall, as well as the greater phoenix metropolitan area as a whole! The door was hard to close and the lighting could use improvement, but genuinely that's me nitpicking. I plan on coming back next time I'm visiting Phoenix

This is an older hotel but is clean and the bed was very comfortable. We felt very safe. The office staff are friendly and accomodating. It is next to Arrowhead Mall and shopping and dining options are great. It's not the Ritz Carlton but it is convenient, clean and a great place to stay on a budget.

The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The front desk staff seemed unfriendly and uninterested in helping or explaining things like use of pool towels. The complimentary drink station was dirty, and the juice machine did not work. Although there was a nice selection of tea bags and prewrapped drink cups, I was hesitant to use the hot water since the area did not appear clean. Overall, it was a good stay.
