La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Phoenix West Glendale

One minor thing is the fact that the pool/jacuzzi wasn’t open as stated in the listed facility. Also the housekeeping people did not check the room correctly as I have to ask for a shower curtain. Other than that the hotel room was nice and cozy.

Very Clean looking throughout; upon entering and all the way to the room. Very accommodating for my small, well behaved dog, and Andrew at the front desk was top notch, and very helpful. I will stay here again.

The room was very spacious and very clean. 2 tvs, sectional and king bed. Staff was always welcoming and friendly. Pets wee welcomed also which was a bonus. Complimentary breakfast was wonderful

Only stayed one night but seemed to have everything that you'd need including a gym.

I had about 2 min worth of interaction so honestly I wouldnt know how hospitable or not they were. Amenities.... yeah the only amenitiy they have are locks on the doors.

Lack of knowledge for Front Desk Staff that desperately need training on how to use their systems/job duties. Many of the staff members cannot complete day to day job functions at the Front desk. Overcharging, checking in guests with no ID, hanging up on guests, leaving the property overnight/sleeping on the job, etc. Hotel does not change sheets when requesting service for the room. Hotel is dirty. Hallways/stairways do not get cleaned. Inadequate washer/dryer facility half the machines are broken. Hotel does not keep supplies stocked. Breakfast is mediocre for price paid per night. Hotel advertises a pool, but does not have one. Task Force GM Aaron Sanora is not friendly and lack people skills on how to talk with guest(s).

Very clean room, quiet safe parking lot and surrounding area. Would definitely stay again.

The first night, Our room wreaked of doggy odor and urine. The staff switched our room. But, the new room’s bathroom wreaked of poop. The smell was engrained in the flooring. I love waffles. But, The breakfast choices were limited. Also, to many homeless people at adjacent gas station. Sunday morning, a homeless man entered the hotel, made himself breakfast and proceeded to sit at a table and eat. Police were notified and the man was taken into custody. But, I must say the hotel is beautiful, I loved how the room was furnished. And, the staff was excellent and very accommodating. Especially, the lady that supervises housekeeping. I wish I could remember her name.

Walls are super thin, DO NOT bother reaching out to the Front Desk with any complaints, they will do nothing about it. Some days they take cash, some days they don't. No one really knows what they are doing and constantly blames others for their errors. Lack of Hospitality from the General Manager down to all line level employees.

Rooms were beautiful and beds amazing, management wonderful checked us in and smooth check out. 2nd time at La Quinta in new design, love it.

Pros: Close to Camelback Ranch (for Spring Training games) and lots of shops and restaurants. Comfortable bed and quiet room. Cons: The breakfast was underwhelming. Perhaps they were understaffed but the food not was refilled, no utensils, cups for juice.

I was in town for the packers vs cardinals game. I tried doing an early check in so we could freshen up before the game since we traveled Sunday morning from California. We arrived at 11 am and they didn’t have any rooms for early check in so we headed to the game and changed there! Not an issue whatsoever, it was worth the try on the early check in. Once the game was over we got to the hotel at 6:30 pm. We were told to wait because our room was still not available!!! The agent that helped us was super nice but her manager was rude. She said to sit for about 5 minutes. She did some stuff on her computer and called me back up. The agent tried to assign our room and it still didn’t work. She finally gave us another available room. The agent was nice and apologetic for her not having our room but the other agent was condescending and said “and you got an upgrade”. As if it was my problem that they couldn’t have my room ready. She told our agent to make sure she wasn’t taking it from someone else. If that room is available why wouldn’t I get it if I should have that priority? Im already there! Where was the priority to my room?The kicker is they gave me a room that was exactly what I had reserved, so what was my upgrade???? First time in Arizona, last time a La Quinta!!

New hotel, it was a great experience! Check in was super quick, had a very sweet front desk worker (thank you Joseph). Room was exactly how the pictures looked, super clean and cozy. It was super hot in Glendale and the AC worked incredibly well and definitely made up for the pool that was under construction which makes complete sense because it is literally a new hotel so please don’t let other reviews be off putting. Breakfast was awesome, I went about 30 minutes before they stopped serving and they were still stocking up for guests which was very considerate. The staff were very sweet, just shy but I prefer that over rude and pushy employees. This hotel is honestly in such a great spot since I was attending a concert at the Diamond Desert Arena, about 10 minutes away. There’s also a little plaza across the freeway. I don't quite understand the negative reviews since they just opened but if I really had to complain about anything I guess it would be not supplying any bar soap, that’s it. I had an amazing stay and I’m really glad this hotel popped up when it did. Thank you staff.

Breakfast was good, maybe need a different varity each morning. Rooms were great and clean. Room 207 shower leaked on to the floor, may want to double check. Andrew was great every time we talked.

The room was nice and clean, the bathroom is nice the only thing in need is shampoo, lotion, and body wash is to small they need change a little bit bigger. Need more variety food on breakfast because the breakfast is to simple.
