The overall hotel was fantastic. We were pleased with the location as we walked to everything we needed. The staff was extremely prepared and helpful. The only service that we would suggest improvement on is the location of the Spa. The staff at the spa was great, but the location is not good as you can hear the pool activity which makes relaxing a bit more difficult.

So central to everything, we left the car at the Domain car park, 10 min walk to the Paradox, freshen up, head out for drinks at the Opera Bar, had a chant with Hare Krishnas on George Street, drinks at Tank Stream and dinner at Mr Wong. We were up early for a Spa, steam room and Pool, checked out, dropped our bags back at the car and went to Botanical Gardens for breakfast. So much to do. Staff and service were great at the Paradox!

Excellent Stay at the Paradox despite the change from Radisson Blue. Staff and premises are fantastic, exactly as before. Pool and Health Suite facilities are perfect after a long flight. Hotel is a less than a 10 minute walk Wynyard from Circular Quay making perfect for transport options.

Dirty stained floor. Very difficult if you have disability’s because little steps everywhere. For the price I expected better service! Under the bed there was a past guest dirty laundry and condom wrapper, so it goes to show how much they maintain there rooms. There tvs are very outdated and lacking cleanliness ( dirty dusty bathtub). I booked 2 rooms and both had stains and construction at 6am! Poor

Very old property that could do with some sprucing up. Check in was very easy and good central location for exploring. Room was small, very basic amenities, and not the cleanest (toilet bowl on the outside had brown streaks upon checkin) . The heat didn’t work unless you put it to 26 degrees and we faced major construction.

I enjoyed my 2 night stay here, however, at check-in I was advised that my room was upgraded. During the past decade, I have stayed here many times and am well aware of the standards of the various rooms. Room 919 was certainly not an upgrade, with mould, rust marks and marks on the marble, tiles and carpet. 😕 Not impressed!

We stayed at Paradox Sydney for one night over the long weekend expecting a premium experience given its 5-star rating and glowing reviews. Unfortunately, our stay was tainted by a serious cleanliness issue. When we first used the shower at 2am, we discovered a used condom in the corner. This was not only disgusting but completely unacceptable for a hotel of this calibre. The night staff we called over the phone responded quickly, they arrived to apologise, took photos, and removed it, but the damage was done. We immediately asked to be moved to another room, as my wife understandably did not want to use that shower. This request could not be accommodated until the next morning, meaning my wife was unable to shower after attending reception that night. When I asked reception again in the morning, the move was promptly arranged. Mistakes can happen, but for a 5-star property with high ratings, I am shocked that housekeeping would miss something so obvious and unhygienic. Beyond losing access to the shower for one night, we were not offered any form of compensation, something I would have expected for paying guests unable to use basic facilities. While we did not demand it, the lack of gesture speaks volumes. This is the first time I have ever written a bad review, and I hope management takes this seriously. Cleanliness should be the absolute minimum, especially for a luxury hotel charging premium rates.

サーキュラーキーやウィンヤードから徒歩圏内なので移動しやすかったです。日本人のスタッフもおり、目的に応じて2箇所ある出入り口を案内してくださった。部屋はスーツケースを2つ広げても余裕あります。また天井が高いので圧迫感なしでした。ベランダはなく、高さもないため展望は望めないかと思いますが、さほど気になりません。

First room was nice, but lower down and near the construction across the road. Was incredibly noisy even on the weekend. Ended up being moved to another room higher and further away and was better. Service was great, buffet breakfast was not fancy but solid, but the dining area can get very busy. Looks like construction on two sites nearby will be going on a while so if you’re not planning on spending time in the room (I.e. business trip) would be ok.

Everything about the hotel was great. From being greeted when we got there. Bags taken and delivered to our room with no hassle. Reception staff and concierge were lovely. Room was excellent. Best bed I have slept in ever I think and the pillows were just amazing. We booked breakfast and that was also brilliant. Everything you could wish for was there and if it wasn’t you just had to ask and you got it. No complaints at all on my behalf.

I had a very disappointing experience at the Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel. When I arrived, I had to carry my suitcase and Boston bag up the stairs while the staff stood by without offering any assistance. Additionally, when I requested help arranging a taxi, the concierge insisted it wasn’t necessary and refused to help further. I found the behavior of one particular concierge, who seemed to be of Indian descent, very unprofessional and unpleasant. They interrupted me while I was speaking and made me feel extremely uncomfortable, to the point where I wondered if this could be considered discriminatory behavior. Furthermore, I noticed that only people of color were serving in the restaurant, while most of the guests were white, which made me feel out of place and unwelcome. As someone from Japan, where hospitality is a core value, I found this level of service shocking and unacceptable. On top of that, when I called late at night because my toenail cracked and was coming off, I received no guidance about nearby pharmacies, nor did I get any follow-up the next day. The minibar in the room had only five creamers, and nothing else. Overall, my stay at this hotel was the worst I’ve experienced. I do not recommend it to anyone looking for a welcoming and professional environment.

There was no hot water and the water pressure was literally a slow trickle. I took a shower in cold, trickling water. It took them 30 mins to fix it, but by then I was late for my meeting so had to take a freezing shower. I give credit as the staff tried to rectify after it was fixed, but the way they handled the problem at hand was not very professional.

Amazing location to stay. Opera house and harbor is within 5-10 minutes walking distance. Sydney tower is within 5 minutes walking. Luxury shops and dining areas all within 5 minutes of walking distance. Train stations located on each side of the hotel within two minutes. The hotel staff extremely friendly and attentive to the guest. They are very accommodating to any requests the guest might have. The cleanliness is superb and the environment is very peaceful and relaxing. A must stay property if you are looking for a peaceful, relax experience.

Disappointed in the food served in-house. Overly salty, lacked flavour and didn't taste fresh. Pasta sauce tasted and looked like it had come from a jar. Vegan risotto too salty and flavour less. Tasted like the chef had used stock cubes and frozen peas. We were pleased that the room temp was cooler than in the past. Nice for sleeping.

Nice hotel in central Sydney, close to station for the airport and to the Rocks area and the cruise ship terminal. Very good buffet breakfast included in the price with good choice of hot and cold items. Plenty of eating and drinking options within easy walking distance. Good sized room and bathroom - would stay here again, though prices in the bar are scandalous.

We had a wonderful ten days at the Paradox. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast buffet had everything we could want. All staff were attentive and friendly throughout our stay. If we get back to Sydney we’d be sure to stay there again.

The hotel is really nice, great room (I really did enjoy the room) and a good location. Have been here twice now, absolutely enjoy it and I am sure I will be back again. The hotel is not so big and I like that. 2 things could be approved significant. Had lunch in the bar the day of departure - food didn't taste of anything at all. The breakfast is nice, but there is only one single coffee machine to share and you need to stand in line for quite some time. Don't understand why a second coffee machine is not put in, that would help a lot. You can order a coffee pot but of some reason it takes a long time to get served. The second morning they forgot me and I went to stand in line for the coffee machine instead. Easy to improve if you ask me, don't understand why it hasn't been done already.
