Perfect location, walking distance to historic downtown St Augustine! AC Hotel is new, clean and staff was friendly and accommodating. It’s a new hotel so there’s a few things that could have helped our stay be more comfortable which were: no one told us to use our keycard at the elevator in order to go to our floor. Our coffee maker didn’t work in our room, bad outlet and pool hours were sunrise to sunset.

This is a brand new hotel & everything is new & nice! We liked that the rooms have LVP flooring and not carpet, feels cleaner. The parking is plentiful, but us through a 3rd party site that you pay $25 a day, we didn’t love that, but since most places downtown require pay for parking it’s on par. The location is right next door to The Ice Plant & just down from St Augustine Fish Camp & very close to Fresh Grounds for a good coffee & breakfast (the hotel’s breakfast was not that interesting to us). Easy to walk to Lightner Museum, Flagler College & most downtown shopping & tourist sites. We would definitely stay here again!

The hotel itself is new and nice. We liked it overall but would have wanted to know the following prior to booking: The restaurant is not open yet but the bar has a limited food menu. In late October the pool was only useable to dip your legs in, or maybe for a child, due to cold water (it did not sound like they would ever be heating it warmer than this per staff). The parking is paid parking and it’s a bit annoying as it through 3rd party via QR code. It’s not as scenic as the photos because the marina is not open and won’t be until 2026 per staff.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming, including the lobby personnel and cleaning staff, but especially Paul Sims, the maintenance man who helped us when my car wouldn’t start. He went out of his way to help us jumpstart and wouldn’t accept a tip. Thank you! Regarding the hotel, it’s what you’d expect and mostly comfortable. I think it was overpriced but it’s the holidays. Also, there is a fair amount of noise as if it’s not well insulated. The beds were comfy but the room has no dresser or closet but there is a rack to hang clothes and a surface for baggage. Also you can hear everything from the bathroom and sometimes the hot water didn’t work from the sink faucet. The shower was nice. The lobby and outdoor patio are very nice. We didn’t eat but they have complimentary Starbucks coffee.

Staff was very nice. The room was very clean and I will totally stay here again. The pool is beautiful, but it was too cold to stay there this weekend. And it was nice and close to the winery and ice plant, which was awesome

This hotel only six weeks into the making lot kinks to get out one no hot water bathroom sink. Shower yes not a problem. Not only ours friends had same problem as did few others talked to. Cleaning of rooms staff needs motivation I had to twice track them down about cleaning service they state every other day go into room no sorry you want be in tune with other hotels daily pickup dirty towels make beds replace soap hand soap’s Staff very accommodating work hard at what they have been hired to do front desk bartenders brunch breakfast staff. Computer system not in tune as it had me charged for an extra day I wasn’t going to be there. We did get this straightened out as also charge for room three days one pf days Thanksgiving was higher room charge of $25 staff checked but couldn’t figure out why three days cost quoted one day Thanksgiving another price go figure all in all they’ll be fine once all the kinks are out and staff is settled in

We booked this hotel because it’s close to all the main attractions. We were pleasantly surprised by the great value for the price! The hotel is brand new — everything is very clean and well-maintained. There’s also a nearby restaurant, Fish Camp, with reasonable prices and delicious food. Highly recommend this hotel!
