Very limited parking on site. You have to use a parking garage next door if your lot is full.

Overall good stay, the room was great. Quiet and roomy. The breakfast was a bit of a disappointment. They were out of a lot of things the first morning we were there and it was very carb heavy. There is also a fee to park our car in the parking lot, which we were not aware of when we booked the hotel.

This is a convenient place to stay. The stay was safe and quiet. The only issue was parking away from the hotel. There was no valet service to park the cars away from the building.

Parking was not ideal and a few entry doors out of service but overall, nice hotel.

Very nice building. Rooms were clean and breakfast wax very good Had hot coffee at all hours which was appreciated. They do charge for parking which was annoying. I did not need another unexpected expense. I found street parking to streets behind on a street that begins with a T. One side was metered the other wax not, Jyst can’t park there on Tuesday and Wed. We lucked out because it was Thursday and Friday. Other than park g, I loved the hotel. Pool was great too!!

Historic atmosphere. Two elevators but only 1 worked. Breakfast was average. Had a full dining room but only had two of the 4 waffle makers on.

Place needs updated. Treadmill not working in fitness center and pool unavailable. Staff was wonderful. Food was decent. Convenient to airport and shopping outlet.

We had a nice, clean, and comfortable room. The location was close to all the attractions of Savannah such as the hop on and off tour began just a block away. The breakfast was good and had long hours of availability. Other than being required to pay an additional $35 a night for parking, we enjoyed our stay.

Parking is very limited

No parking as 15 spaces roped off under construction, TV didn’t work, multiple elevators not in service, carpet dirty and breakfast open at 6, when we came down at 6:30-7:00am many items missing and overall quality of food that was there was poor. I think this is the first time ever that I’ve written a negative review.

Everything was great, but the air won’t go lower than 68 and it was actually 73-76 in our room. That is not comfortable for us. I also don’t know how the room was cleaned. There were still a few items left over from the previous guests and the floors had not been vacuumed. I also don’t like paying $35 to park and not being able to park onsite. Overall, it was a good stay for our family. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. I would stay here again.

Bathroom shower was not full functional as shower hand held did not work and had to struggle with getting shower head to work. Tile was cracked and obviously re-caulked in multiple places. Elevators were dirty and brass trim in bad need of cleaning and polishing. Overall appearance of hotel was an old, tired Hampton Inn, that needs a total renovation and not worth what we paid for the room for the weekend.

While the lobby area was nice, the room was tired, beat up 90’s decor and smelled like dirty socks. Breakfast was terrible. Staff was good and receptive to our comments.

The room is dusty, lamps arw super dirty dusty. The room was half prepared. I have to call twice. But they bring it. And it takes more time to get ready to sleep. The switcher is broken, i couldn't make room dark I am shocked.

my room on the third floor the carpet was soiled. The couch was soiled. There was blood left in the bathroom. It was a horrible experience. I will never ever recommend anyone to stay. Here is clear that the owners don't really care about this property. The carpet needs to be pulled up, and those couches need to be thrown out, especially with the dogs and the fleas

There were stains on the couches and bed sheets. We had a room for 5 but only towels for 4, and the sheets for the pull out bed were dirty. The staff was very nice and extremely helpful. But the cleanness and preparedness for guests was not good.

The staff was great, but we had to turn in tools that were left in the room, and there were ants on the nightstand and in the bathroom vanity

Clean room, friendly staff.

The property is old and needs some updates. Room carpeting is worn out. I wasn't able to turn a light fixture off near the bed. I had to unscrew the bulb to get it off.

The hotel was very clean and welcoming. We were on the ground floor on a busy street so there was traffic noise. The air conditioner was also quite noisy but that is common at most hotels.

The property was nice. Well kept. Staff was great! Only problem I had was with how horribly uncomfortable the bed was. That mattress was very lumpy, loud and uncomfortable. Breakfast was good too!

Large room

The room was great in all areas except I could hear the people who took the stairs. For several hours, people were running on the stairs. It sounded like horses running due to the echo in the stairwell. There is nothing the hotel can do to change this feature. I did not complain to the management for this reason. Otherwise, the hotel is beautiful and offers great comfort.

Very clean. Beautiful lobby. Huge room! Walkable to river front.

We stayed on the ground floor on the road side. Lots of vehicle noise. Heating unit did not control the temperature very well.

The staff was amazing especially Mrs Alma! My family of 5 will definitely be back.

I love this hotel. It's the perfect balance of old world, southern charm and modern convenience. The staff could not have been more friendly or attentive. They even delivered razors to my room at one in the morning! The location of the hotel is within walking distance of many attractions, and it's just across the street from a trolley stop for the sites that are just a bit too far away. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

Even though there was a long line for check-in and it took a few minutes, the staff was polite and attentive. The location is excellent.

The front desk staff seemed less than pleased to do their job, which is, by definition, hospitality. The two young women (one day shift, one night shift) were just shy of being unfriendly and displayed an attitude of barely tolerating having to speak with the guest (me). When I contacted the desk to let them know a dirty wash rag had been left in the shower, the night time desk clerk said--oh. Well. Sorry about that. The dining staff were amazing and beyond personable. The hotel needs an update, especially for the price paid. The pillows - well. Bring your own. It's further out from river street than you'd think, so if walking is an issue, pay the extra money for something closer to the water.

Cem at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. Being it was our anniversary he upgraded us to a suite. Breakfast was great with many options. Will definately stay again

Tried to charge me the price of the room even though it was prepaid. There is a $35 parking fee and they charged me for 2 cars. I went to the front desk to ask about the $70 charge and they told me it was because they thought I had two cars but they only gave me one parking pass so that’s obviously not true.

Are stay was amazing. From the front desk people to the breakfast and room. Can’t say enough about the front staff! Exceptional service and very helpful in assisting with things to do and see in Savannah. Would recommend this hotel to everyone

We enjoyed everything about this hotel with the exception of having to park in a parking garage one block away. The walk back to the hotel at night was a bit scary as there were vacant lots and people loitering.

Very close to everything in Savannah. Makes your trip walkable. Only needed a Lyft to and from the airport.

It's on the edge of an unsafe area. The parking is woefully inadequate and you have to park in an overflow lot a block away. Not good at night. Super nice people. Jeff is amazing.

We loved the location of this hotel! Feels super close to downtown, everything is within walking distance and Savannah is very walkable too, which helps! We enjoyed the parking right outside the hotel (for a small daily fee) and the free breakfast as most other hotels make you valet the car and pay extra for breakfast. The hotel lobby is beautifully historic and inviting. Any staff we encountered were nice, but could be a little more personable. I know how hard that is to maintain, so I'm not complaining, but just a note. No one was rude whatsoever! We stayed twice (one night each - a week apart) on the way to and from Tennessee and the forst week we were on the 4th floor. That room was great, had no complaints! The second week we stayed on the 5th floor... that one wasn't as great. I woke up early in the morning, smelling a horrible smell. I thought maybe the food in our cooler went bad, nope. I thought maybe it was just our room and perhaps a mouse or something had died under something, nope. When we left the room for breakfast, I realized the whole 5th floor smelled bad. I didn't bother reporting it to anyone because we were checking out right after breakfast, but figured it would be good to note here. Overall, still had a great time and we're likely to stay here again next time we're in town!

Great location in the Historic District of Savannah Georgia. It is within walking distance of the main attractions in the Historic District.

Do not stay here. Parking is nearly a quarter mile from the building. You need a room key to exit the parking garage. The hotel staff seems rather unaware of this fact or unwilling to share it with guests. The area surrounding the property is dangerous at night. My wife was walking our dog and was kissed on the cheek and nearly molested by a drunk homeless man. The hotel basically double charges you ($208 for the reservation, $128 for incidentals, $50 for [more?] incidentals, etc.). The front desk is rude and unhelpful. Some of the rooms are infested with ants. Completely NOT worth the money. Worst Hampton Inn & Suites I’ve ever stayed at.

My wife and I loved our stay here! The hotel was very clean and the staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. There’s plenty to see within walking distance of the hotel as well a wide variety of dining choices. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 out 5 Stars for property condition was the lack of available parking on site at the hotel. It was “hit or miss” any time we drove somewhere, as to whether or not we would have a spot to park there. They have overflow parking in a small parking garage two blocks away, but it’s not very convenient to park there. And $35 a night to park at a hotel is the most I’ve ever paid any where I’ve stayed in the U.S. I found it a bit pricey, considering there wasn’t guaranteed parking on site. But I did really appreciate the staff and the breakfast each morning was 5 Stars for real!

Parking is a nightmare in this facility. They give you the option to park in a walkable garage but at a rate of $35 daily?!! Does not make sense if you are paying $200 / night in the hotel. Breakfast needs to be organized and have more employees filling what is being consumed. Besides that, staff was the friendliest ever.

The breakfast was not good. There is no hot tub. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was nice but bathroom fixtures were dated the sink faucet was spraying me in the face.
