Room appeared to have water damage which was not corrected the right way…. The hotel pool is not 24 hours although listed as such it actually closed at 10pm and opens at 7am after a long day of band competitions we had hoped for this amenity … hot tub in am was not warm at all pool needs maintenance at night if their going to close down

Unfortunately the pool and hottub were out of service. They did announce at check-in- however because I booked and paid in full I could not cancel and they couldnt even give me a discount which they also offered. Otherwise 5 star rating

We had a good experience at this hotel. The property is in good shape and the pool and hot tub were nice. We did have a couple challenges with our room- but Tyler from the front desk area was very attentive and polite and got us squared away quickly. Thanks, Tyler!

We had a good time while visiting with family and the hotel was good; however, two doors next to the pool area were continuously held open with bricks so that staff and "others" could go in and out for smoke breaks (even though the property signs say that it is a smoke-free property). I felt very unsafe knowing that anyone could come and go through those doors at any time. Please behind the pool area, there were a constant stream of men workers sitting and drinking which as a woman, I felt uneasy knowing that the door being held open gave them availability at all times to the hotel entrance. One important comment is that the staff is trustworthy and honest since we left something in the room and they returned it to us which tests most staff people and they passed with flying colors!

Great place to stay. This hotel is our goto now every time we’re in Mineralwells. We like the clean rooms, friendly staff, great breakfast and nice room options. We didn’t like the vagrants hanging about at times (a common issue in the area), but the hotel staff did a great job handling every situation, and we never had reason to worry for our safety. It’s great to have a Cracker Barrel just across the parking lot!

Had to book the hotel last minute for a family funeral. All in all, the room was great, beds were comfortable and clean. Our room did have a weird echoing sound that correlated with the window not fully latching and being close to the highway. Love the food and selection at a Holiday inn-much better than where we stayed at a Hyatt House recently. Staff was super accommodating and super friendly and helpful.

The big issue I had with the property was the noise. It's very close to hwy 77 and you could hear every car and truck go by. The windows did not seem well insulated and all of the noise came through. Had a difficult time sleeping.

The expressway sounds were so loud at this hotel it almost seemed as though our guest room window was wide open. Neither of us slept a wink throughout the night. This hotel obviously did not incorporate soundproof windows in its construction. We would never stay here again which is a shame since the facilities in general were nice and in particular the morning breakfast service was excellent.

I didn't appreciate being placed right next the elevator. There were those who went up & down the elevator several times with the constant "ding" every time they got on or off the elevator. I suggest that you NOT put guests next to the elevator. It will keep the noise down and have happier guests

They had difficulty checking us in, the floor was rug squares that were coming up off the floor, there was a gap in the door that made it not look safe, and the thermostat control wasn’t working properly. It was very run down looking. It was certainly not a wonderful place to stay like it was rated.

When I went to check my party of 7 in 2 suites, it was only showing where there was 1 reserved with 1 guest. After some time and me finally asking the front desk worker if the other room was saved under the name of the adult that I put down that was going to be in the other room.....was we finally able to get it worked out. It took forever. Then there was a massive storm that knocked out the power from 9:30pm until a little after midnight. Then the power went off two more times after that briefly. The rooms got so got and stuffy quickly. The only lights were emergency lights in the hallway and they wasn't enough. There were some noisy scared guests freaking out outside our rooms. We wasn't able to get any sleep that night because of the stuffiness of the rooms and noise made our kiddos uneasy. The hotel itself was beautiful, the extras were nice, but the only flaws are lack of ventilation and the hotel needs more emergency lighting in the hallways.

Nice room and very friendly staff. Right by the freeway but not too noisy. The breakfast was good and had a big selection of hot and cold food. One restaurant close enough to walk but others within 3-4 miles. Room and bathroom clean, big room tv and good AC.

The room and all facets of the room were clean, which is huge. The breakfast was pretty pork centered and my bf can’t do pork, and there were kids in the pool that were not staying in the hotel so front desk could probably do better at preventing that again but otherwise lovely stay

Stayed for 1 night with my family after reserving a room the day previously. Highly recommend. Nice pool and decent hot tub (perfect after hiking all day in Hocking State Park) Great breakfast! Great service! Great check-in process! No need to pack shower toiletries. Quite happy with our stay.

I liked the option of using a handicapped room, very helpful for my father, the staff was very attentive and the breakfast also was very good, the only thing that I didn’t like was the fact that breakfast closed a little too early, maybe should’ve been 10/10:30.
