If it says pet friendly on Expedia they should not deny your pet when you get there because there wasn’t a room for pets available…there should be a way to choose that on the site so you don’t find out it’s unavailable after you have paid and possibly arriving late at night. Also, we booked not only because it was pet friendly, but because it had a pool, which we discovered was out of order after arriving …. Very disappointing

This hotel had a pool, which was our top priority since we were traveling with kids, so that was good. Unfortunately the hot tub was out of service- a little disappointing for us parents. Also, unfortunately, the room had several cleanliness issues- stains on one of the bedspreads, stains on the wall like liquid splatter on the wall, and other unsanitary looking stains on the bathroom door. I let the front desk person know so hopefully these issues will be addressed before the room is occupied again.

We arrived in town at 12am, desperately needing to get some shut eye and had pre-booked this hotel because it had good reviews. When we got to our first assigned room and the AC was broken and the curtains were broken. When we went down to the office to request a different room, the woman at the front scoffed at us and told us "that can't be true" and we almost had to argue to get a different room... THEN when we got into our second room, there was literal feces in the bathroom toilet! Again we immediately went down to the office to complain and AGAIN we were meet with the same response. When we asked for a refund so we could go somewhere else, we were told "no because you already reserved this room for tonight" and then "you'll have to call or customer service for a refund if you want one." Then we proceed to walk out and find somewhere else to stay. When we FINALLY got ahold of customer service, we were told that they would only refund one of the two nights we reserved and that if we wanted a full refund, we would have to request an authorized refund from the owner of the establishment. This establishment was filthy, the parking lot was way too small for three number of rings they have on site, and the staff were absolutely awful in every sense.

The room was dirty. There were crumbs in the dresser drawers. We were missing shampoo and conditioner. My 6-year-old found an empty bottle and a toy that was left behind. The staff were kind, but the room was not good.

The front desk person was very nice, efficient, and even let us check in an hour early. The room was clean, the bed comfortable. The only thing we didn't like was that the room had an overpowering flowery smell of some kind of room deodorizer that stuck around, even after we left the window open for several hours.

The room reeked of old cigarette smoke with ancient cigarette burns on the edge of the tub. After we reported it, the staff said it had been a non-smoking room for 3 years. So gross. And I worry a bit about their digital security.

The staff was very sweet and kind and tried their best. It’s clear that the owners of the business have not done upkeep. The rooms smelled like smoke and cleaning products that tried to mask the smell. We ended up leaving early due to the unbearable smell. The hair dryer also was full of dust and exploded on us. Would not stay here again.

Great staff for check in and room accommodations when an issue came about. Comfortable bed with nice bedding. Shampoo and conditioner in shower which is helpful. More than two towels for the length of stay. Easy to find and park. Only down side is the black mold in the bathroom. On the ceiling, down the wall and in the corners around the tub. I addressed this during check out as a precautionary to the hotel staff; for safety reasons for themselves and future guests.

Wasn’t too sure about the place when we pulled up but it ended up being a comfortable room and bed with only a few disruptions from freeway noise. Definitely looks dingy but it seemed clean enough overall.

There are eight different restaurants within walking distance of the Quality Inn in Mount Vernon, along with an Enterprise car rental location, Lowe's and Walmart. The bathroom was the smallest I have ever seen, and the drapes did not do a very good job of blocking the view of anyone walking by outside.

Average hotel with basic amenities. We aired out our room for several hours as the carpet had a definite odor. Beyond that, the room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. WIFI signal was sketchy. Breakfast was fantastic with lots of options and the breakfast area was super clean. Staff were very friendly.

The room smelled like it had been a smoking room at one point and they have tried to cover it up with air fresheners. The refrigerator was nice to have, the microwave was also nice although it was not plugged in and had to be moved to the table because the cord was too short to reach the plug in, which meant the tv cabinet had to be moved also to access the plug ins. The plug ins next to the bed were wore out and a phone charger cord wouldn’t stay plugged it. The hotel was over all ok, the bed was nice but the hotel building itself definitely needs some updates on simple maintenance stuff

Night clerk was very put out i was checking in at 12:30 a.m. He was even more put out when i asked for a different tv remote since the one provided wasnt working. I had called ahead asking if they had HBO, to which he replied yes, and then hung up. Turns out you need a wifi adapter or router to get hbo on their dish system. Same guy checked me out in the morning and he was rude then again. Must not like guests

Stay was interrupted by the manager barging into our room without knocking (sure glad we weren't in a compromised position) and guests using stairwells as their personal room to make calls (phone conversations could be heard).

Unhappy with the location. Manager lied a said Expedia cancelled my reservation and she charged me. When I talked to her minutes after talking to Expedia she said Expedia cancelled my reservation and my room was already rebooked. Which was a total lie. I am extremely disappointed. I'm working with quality in corporate, my credit card company and Expedia to resolve the issue. the manager is untrustworthy she say she have her conversation with Expedia recorded. I hope so because it will prove she is lying.

Was in Mount Vernon for a 100-mile bike ride and booked this place for its hot tub, which was out of order. My room was next to the pool and was very loud, there was NO smoke alarm in the room (a fire code violation), and when we checked out one day early to find a better option, we were told they would not refund the third day. When we called on Monday to inquire about a refund, the front desk employee hung up on us twice. Still waiting to see if we will be refunded for the last day.

The room was spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable. The tv required wome kind of sign in so we used a computer to watch a movie. This was all exterior door rooms but there was an elevator for upper floors. We did not go by the pool. The breakfast was good for hotel breakfasts.

Older facility but pretty clean. Quiet especially in light of being next to the freeway! Breakfast was decent- waffles, scrambled eggs, bisques and gravy. Plus cereal and pastries. For the price it was perfect! It’s very convenient to going to go see the tulips!!

The Good: •The pool wasn't crowded, we had it to ourselves. •The pool was relatively clean given the status of the room and common areas. There was 'free' breakfast The Not So Good: •The staff weren't very friendly. They seemed inconvenienced when I called with a request/question. They didn't seem like they were too thrilled to be interacting with people. • The room wasn't thoroughly cleaned. There were receipts in drawers, gunk in the shower, and questionable stains on the chair. Pretty sure they don't really change the sheets either and just 'puff and fluff' them. Another interaction led me to think that • The room had a funky smell when we walked in • There arent any plug ins near the beds. Yes, 1st world problems, I know... had to charge my phone on the sink counter. But, I'm paying for an experience right? At least get alarm clocks with charging ports • Kinda in a sketch area. I was nervous about leaving my car filled with our outdoor gear in the parking lot. • Apparently you can't take the breakfast to your room. Weird. The lady uncomfortably told us that we couldn't take the food out. She was just doing her job She said "there are signs...its for the cameras" First, I dont want to sit in the tiny dining area with kids running around. I'd like to enjoy my banana in peace. Second, the signs need to be re-done, there are too many words, no one will read that FINAL THOUGHT? Not the worst. Not the best. If its what you can afford, just know its subpar. But w a pool!

The breakfast was surprisingly nice. The toilet paper dispenser came out of the wall and the rooms are old and tired. I give housekeeping stars.
