I didn't like seeing a "working girl" coming to a room in broad daylight. Also a lot of bird feces on the stairway handrails...which being arthritic, I am forced to use.

I booked online, showed up to check in at 9pm. Take into consideration the price you’re paying for the hotel (paid $98 total) Quick and easy check in. Lots of room to park, pool was clean and open until 10pm. Bed was comfortable, sheets were clean. Enough towels for 2 guest. I read a lot of reviews about cockroaches, I didn’t see any until the morning and it was dead and looked like it fell from the ceiling light/vent area.

For the price i didnt expect a lot, pleasantly surpised at how clean and cute and nice the front desk lady was. Had cute rafters (on top floor) cute scenic window shade that kept the light out in morning, big, spacious, ac worked great, bed a little hard but thats to my preference, everything clean ,accomodating letting us check in early. Outside not the prettiest but nice pool, felt safe and would definitely stay again!

This hotel is very outdated. The stairs to get to the 2nd story are barely hanging on to the concrete and are a hazard for sure. The floor in the room felt like it was falling through also.

If you’re just needing a place to lay your head for the night this place is ok, they also used pictures of the pool from the hotel next door to make it look like they had a nicer pool

Property pictures will fool you. This is a $35-a-night hotel all day. There is lots of foot traffic on the property looking to sell you stuff. A fence should wrap around the entire property if they are going to have a 1 way in and 1 way out setup. Depending on which side of the property your room is on, your balcony could be facing the neighboring hotel window 10 feet away. The deadbolts are makeshift and there are no windows to the parking lot, depending on the side. Numerous half effort fixes in my room but it looks like they tried. I stayed here for 1 night and thankfully, due to location, I was able to walk to Chili's for drinks. Take your chances at the other hotel.

Check in was easy and simple. The room however had lights that did not work, the sink would fill with water when washing your hands, and would take a long time to drain. There were cockroaches in the bathroom. The sheets had long hair and small insects in them. They also had crusty dried stains, and were ripped with holes everywhere. The phone in the room did not work, so i had to call the hotel with my cellphone to reach the front desk. When i asked if the sheets could be changed, the front desk attendant informed me that he could bring me the sheets if i wanted to change them. Over all, not a great experience at all.

Roach motel. Horrible. Got in late crazy hoskeeping lady wouldn’t stop knocking on our door before checkout time. I had to personally open the door and tell her off and to come back after checkout time and do not nock again! Horrible place cockroach legs and stained sheets. Wife said next time she would rather sleep in the car!!

Besides the fact that everything was extremely outdated, there was light coming through every closed door, piles of dead bugs in the corners, bathroom hadn't been cleaned (feces under the toilet seat), the photos of the rooms are very misleading. I never like to leave bad reviews, because I work in the industry and realize sometimes mistakes are made, but this was quite possibly one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in and that's saying a lot.

It’s an older facility. Seemed quite clean. Many things need attention. (Room 120) The loose toilet seat on the toilet, the trim around doors showing distress from years of painting over damage instead of replacing. It would take a major effort to refurbish the physical property. The linens were clean and the mattress comfortable.

It was closely located to the freeway, but right on a main street, so actually harder to get in and out of. Inside, the room was very shabby and poorly maintained - broken desk chair, lamp that didn't work, peeling paint, damp spots on the rug. On the up side, the A/C worked and it was pretty cheap.

The night person needs to be fired! My first night he gave out my room # and key pass. Someone tried to come into my room at 12:30p.m or sometime around there. Not a very happy person after that! 😡 The place was very dirty in the morning front all the works that had come in from working for P.E.C as a contractor company. P.E.C the Electric company has been infromed about the company that was there. Because P.E.C is my electronic copy. Not very Happy with this Travelodge at all! It's Sponsored by Wyndham Resorts, Which makes a bad Make reputation for Windham. Windham needs to drop Travelodge all costs. I feel like I should have half of my money refunded to me for all the trouble I went through!! Plus all the danger that I was in!!

There were restaurants very close. I found an easy way to get into the parking lot the day before we left. The main road in front is very busy. Not a very good choice of breakfast items at the hotel. The coffee wasn't very good. The staff was always attentive at the front desk. Very close to New Branfels and Gruene. Very affordable.

It was fine for the low price we paid. Check in did not go smoothly. Our reservation was for 2 rooms. After getting 1 key, we were told the hotel is "very full" and only a smoking room was available. We eventually got 2 rooms but the check-in experience left a bad taste in our mouths.

My stay was ok but my son also rented a room there and he tried to tell them their room was hot the a/c didn’t work and I think it was the owners they were so rude and very unprofessional. Gave my son a hard time about moving to a different room like it was his fault their cheap a/c wasn’t cooling the room. Then the lady started telling my son stuff because he was trying to clean up the hot room they were staying in and moving to a different room. And the man started telling me to hurry up and go tell my son not to go up some broken stairs. Just very rude owners… I will never stay there again. The owners are the worst. Very unprofessional and their office smelled bad like under arms. And there is no breakfast there.

This was a clean and quite place to stay we felt safe and there are restaurants and a store within walking distance. My only complaint was the toliet paper. Check in and check out were quick and easy we had no problems. We would definitely stay here again.

The place seemed to be home to many construction workers. Which made us three ladies kind of uncomfortable going to the pool area one evening. There is no continental breakfast as advertised in some of the travel lodges. There was absolutely no water pressure in the shower whatsoever. The only thing good was the convenience of the restaurants and our destination. Carpet looked dirty and the bed mattress was awful!!!!

Very Noisy. The breakfast is next to nothing. The bed was clean along with the bathroom. The Door to the room had a seal that was bad and had a draft coming in. The place sure needs a makeover. I woke up every hour by the hour because of the noise.
