The hotel is kept very clean including the pool and hot tub, and the staff are helpful and kind. Located in a well lit location that is suprisingly quiet at night. Ample parking and close to many dining and grocery choices. A+ for the price.

I’ve stayed at many types of hotels of different comfort levels but I have never been to a hotel so similar to a La Quinta, a Super8, etc WITHOUT AN ELEVATOR. I was staying at this place with two cats, so I had to carry a heavy litter box up a flight of stairs. Also, the guy at the front practically yelled out my hotel room number in front of everyone in the lobby (5 people). As a single female, I didn’t appreciate that. There were so many people in the lobby because no one was ever at the front desk. There was always a 5 minute wait to do anything at the front desk. I can tell the hotel system is trying to make the rooms seem nice, but for $100 plus $60 pet fees, in 2025, I’d expect an elevator.

Our stay wasn’t very good. No elevator, few blankets, a green pool, and very little amount of breakfast suggestions. The only good part about our stay was the waffle maker( a print of a Lion). Our bathroom was awful! It was so tiny that you had to stand in the tub in order to close the door. I’d say it was a 6 by 4 in bathroom. The TV worked fine on the first few minutes and then had no signal. The front desk said to just unplug it, but since it a vanity was screwed down there was no way to fix it. The pool was lower than 75 degrees and GREEN!!! It was so gross. Everything purchased for this room felt like it was dollar store material. We will not be staying at anymore Red Lion hotels for a very, very long time, until changes are made and notified.

There is no elevator and they put me upstairs so the luggage carrier was not a bit of help and I had to ok carry all my stuff up the stairs. I'm old. The pool was almost too cold to get in and the water was murky. Breakfast did not have any cereal or any fruit at all. A staff member was scooping peanut butter and jelly out of their jars and put them into little cups and it was not a very clean procedure. My room was very dusty, I don't think anybody had been in it for a while. The way the bed was made the top covers barely came up a few inches above my knees, only covered about half of the bed. The shower head was great. I did not see any temperature adjusting dial on the little tiny refrigerator and it was too cold and froze my medication overnight and it all had to be thrown out. I'm from out of state and not anywhere near my doctor or my pharmacy to get new medicine. Uggg

This was a one night stop on our road trip. The room Was clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast was stocked well. We walked to grab dinner with many options. Close enough to walk to shopping. Only con was the gym equipment needs fixed and didn’t feel safe.

Check in was great! I have stayed here before! Unfortunately my room was filthy. The floor had stuff all over it. When I opened the covers, there was hair and pink fibers in the bed. The other bed had a large round stain on it. Also, when I took a shower, I found black hairs in the shower. While washing my hands, I found black hair in the sink. I hope this feedback helps the hotel staff clean the rooms better.

Sheets didn't look clean (and were on inside out?). Bathroom needed a good clean - layers of dust and grime where the floor meets the walls. Grime on toilet seat hinge. Coffee maker was broken - only water came out. They clearly aren't paying cleaning staff enough. Door made a terrible noise every time we opened it. Front desk lady was nice. The breakfast was basic but appreciated.

The staff here was very nice, but this hotel was disgusting. The carpet in the hallway was filthy and hadn't been vacuumed in some time. Trash cans were full, ice machines out of service. The pool was grimy and green, my kids didn't even want to get in it. The room itself had been slightly updated with hard floors and a new TV console, but was VERY dirty. Filth build up in the corners in the bathroom with hair and dirt, major unrepaired damage to the walls, chips and big dings in everything. The nightstand looked like it had been in a war. We heard everything that the partying neighbors did all night long, which was fun. This hotel is on a dead end street with a major dispensary at the end. Don't do it. Don't stay here. One of the worst hotels I've experienced. Red Lion should be embarrassed.

Not even one extra pillow available according to front desk ‘no sorry we have a full house’ room key didn’t work to pool area. Beds appeared clean. Floor by toilet not clean.

Extremely outdated and overpriced. Staff were very friendly and helpful. This entire city is one that needs to be skipped. I would suggest Boise or Baker city avoid Ontario at all costs. Rooms were extremely overpriced very outdated not cleaned properly and walls are paper thin. If it wasn’t for the staff and their kindness and helpfulness, I would have canceled my stay.

Sheets on beds were dirty or stained. One bed was very broken down on one side. Sprinkler system was missing pieces and caked with dirt and dust. Bath tub did not drain during shower. Staff was not over friendly or helpful in the morning.

Our first stay was ok. This last stay was terrible. When we went to our room we noticed blood on the sheets in both beds! The front desk manager was very apologetic and gave us clean linen, but we had to change the sheets ourselves do to short staff. The motel was also out of hand soap so had to use shampoo soap! The breakfast was adequate but not very sanitary. The peanut butter and jelly were just in regular jars like you would buy at grocery store. Probably won't be staying at this Red Lion anytime in the future.

The bed was so lumpy and uncomfortable, the room was at the front where it was loud, noisy and I can hear the utility room next door. I typically love this place but, I may have to change it up. The floor was also dirty and the tv didn’t even work the first night. Totally bummed about this visit

The heating/cooling unit in our room was very loud. It was making groaning and clicking noises frequently and waking us up during the night. Also the cable channels on the tv were all coming acros very grainy and blurry.

Beds were comfy! Staff was friendly. Breakfast area was tight knit. I’m not sure if they had an elevator. Made lugging up luggage for 6 not as convenient. Furniture was definitely getting old and worn and had stains. We will probably stop here again because it fit all of us in 1 room.

When I was checking in I meant Shaun who had an amazing attitude and was pleasant. Our bed was very comfortable as were the pillows. However, there was dirt and pet hair around the bathtub, behind the bathroom door, and along the baseboards, so house keeping hadn’t done a great job on the last clean. The rooms are also far from soundproof and you can hear everything. The breakfast was mediocre at best and I opted to eat elsewhere rather than eat that.

Despite the hotel being very basic. It was clean, the bed was comfortable and it was exactly what I needed. What the hotel lacked in fancy details it more than made up for with it's friendly helpful staff. Shawn at the front desk was helpful and efficient and gracious. This is a little hotel, close to the highway with a big heart.

Sean was a warm, friendly person to arrive to and all kinds of positive! He was super kind and helpful when I had questions or needed anything. Excellent customer service!

The hotel is kept very clean including the pool and hot tub, and the staff are helpful and kind. Located in a well lit location that is suprisingly quiet at night. Ample parking and close to many dining and grocery choices. A+ for the price.

Quick stop over to break up a long drive and avoid driving at night since I knew I would be leaving several hours later from my beginning location. Easy to find and close to several fast food places which were within walking distance. Price was reasonable.

For the price and a quick overnight while passing through town, this had everything I needed and expected. Plenty of restaurants, grocery stores, gas stations, all within a block of the hotel. The front desk guy was super pleasant.

This is a pretty quiet road-side hotel. Very bare bones. If you need a comfortable place to sleep and that’s really it, this is a good option. Beds were comfy. Staff was nice. Also, if you want Sonesta points, book directly on the Sonesta site.

The property is located in nice area and have ample space for parking and nice room. Unfortunately, the breakfast included is horrible... The staffs were not refilling the items fast and we are not allowed to carry the food outside the room for kids (we stayed with little kids) ...

Terrible customer service. Non smoking room smelled like cigarettes and weed. Their solution since it’s a Smoke free facility was to spray febreeze. I know I’m not “normal” but I woke up stuffed up, barely able to breath with a terrible headache. Tiny bathroom. Had to pretty much stand in the tub to shut the door. Water damage to paint and door. Fan for the bathroom didn’t work. Breakfast was cereal, waffles and muffins. With milk and yogurt available. Carbs, carbs and more carbs. Zero protein. Great for a diabetic. Room and facility has tons of flies. The pool looked nice, we didn’t use it.

We've stayed here before mostly because they have a room with 3 queen beds which fits our family well. We got 2 other rooms including the 3 queen room this time. The breakfast was sub par this time around. They ran out of muffins and bagels and didn't have any yogurt and only a few boiled eggs. My daughter waited around for a good 20 minutes hoping they'd refill items but they never did. She arrived at the dining area around 8 am. There wasn't anyone at the desk when I checked out so I asked the girl in the laundry room where I should put the room card.

Reserved a dog room. When we arrived, we were on second floor, no elevator, and at the exact opposite end of the property. I asked if anything was available on the first floor, as my dog is old and can’t do stairs. Was told none were available. After I carried my dog downstairs and went to pet area, there was no fencing, several piles from previous dogs, and no pop bags in the dispenser. And after going down for breakfast at 8:45 (closes at 9). Everything was already put away, not even a to go muffin or roll was available, coffee only, and no one servicing the breakfast bar to ask for anything.

Did not like the fact the syrup, jelly, butter was not individual but shared containers. Coffee was all gone at 7:30 am and had to wait for coffee to be brewed to fill containers.

Continental breakfast was very basic. Toast, waffles, Raisin Bran, yogurt. Syrup, butter, peanut butter and grape jam. They must but in bulk and then someone puts in small containers. The TV had to be unplugged and plugged back in every time we watched it because it would lose internet. The Roku remote was so hard to scroll with because it was so used. The lighting in the room was horrible. The bath fan was very loud, the head of the shower wasn’t attached, if you’re taller than 5’10” you will hug your head in the shower head. The bath ok wasn’t attached and the water didn’t drain well. The mattress should be replaced, it has a mound in the middle. Staff was very kind, very helpful the issues are a sign that the company isn’t wanting to put money into fixing things. We were there for 4 nights for a family wedding. We will be back to Ontario but not at the Red Lion. Not worth what we paid.

We were totally disappointed. First, we are seniors and they had us on the second floor.....then after a long drive and upon checking in, no elevator so we had to lug our luggage up the stairs to the second floor......
