Very disappointed with our stay at Holiday Inn Express. The room was not clean upon arrival, and we found bugs near the bed, which was extremely concerning while traveling with a baby. We also noticed mildew/mold spots on the mattress, which made us feel very uncomfortable about the cleanliness and overall condition of the room. When we brought these concerns up, we were told we would be credited for a free night due to the issues we experienced. Instead, we only received 1,000 IHG points, which does not come close to resolving the situation or matching what was promised. I have also attempted to contact management multiple times to discuss the situation further and have yet to receive any response. The lack of communication and follow-through has been just as frustrating as the condition of the room itself. Elevator was also out of service and we were on the 4th floor with a baby (not fun!) We expected much better cleanliness, customer service, and accountability from a Holiday Inn Express.
