Large rooms with kitchen. 5 min walk to beach through La Cabana. Good waterslide and hot tubs. Lots of good dining in area. Free beige beach chairs, though most tip chair guy. Must use blue shirts guys as orange shirts w/green chairs are La Cabana. They start setting up chairs for people at palapa's around 6am. Lots of Palapa's for shade, but go early. At 4am there might be a front row left, at 5am 2nd row, 6am 3rd or 4th row, by 9am all are full and they put you under the trees in the back. Some people went out by 3:15am last week. Lots of front beach space if you prefer sun.

Overall a nice property...staff was great...check in & out was easy...Adult pool nice set up with daily DJ, & fun with Bingo...Uncle Tony's Pizza was delicious, as well as Double Down retaurantant which had great French Toast for breakfast - we had it twice...room was clean & spacious....could use a full length mirror some where....patio in back was a nice touch - we had a few meals & our morning coffee out there....kitchen wonderful addition....with Super Food only 5 minute walk away we had snacks & some meals @ hotel room...Super Food pricey....bring as many items as you can...like cereal, snacks & buy your milk etc in Aruba...Liquor high, bring your own bottle unless you want mixed drinks at poolside...prices were resonable especially with the 2 for 1 twice a day during Happy Hour. Our only complaint the beach....its only a 5 minute walk BUT we tried twice - no chairs or palapas...speaking to Josh the supervisor & the pool manager - they brushed us off, and did not offer any remedy or even something for the inconvenience....Nelida called from the hotel & was very nice & apologetic. She offered a free breakfast for 2 if we return, but the main issue she will work on with her corpoate team is making sure there is a chair for each & every guest. I will contact her again prior to my trip next year to see any updates. One thing for sure....visit Aruba!

Loved the renovated rooms. Beautiful pool area with 3 pools to choose from. Fun water slide. Loved the fruit water available to guests. Shopping at superfoods is a short 5min walk. Beach is a 5min walk to Eagle beach. Food at uncle Tony's was good. A few places to eat around hotel and a few more within a 2min drive or 15min walk. Hertz rental is on site so we used them for our rental.

This property and the rooms are a bit "worn" due to age, but they take excellent care of everything. The staff were very friendly and attentive, and Lilliana was so helpful booking reservations and excursions for us. The bell staff were always ready to shuttle us to the beach and get us a taxi (no ride share services on Aruba). Daily Happy Hour and pool activities were fun, and the pool lounges and palapas are in great shape. We appreciated and used all 3 pool options. Already planning to return next year!

Two major things for us. #1 is the iguanas around the pool area. Nothing more than pests that leave excrement on the pool deck. The iguanas should be removed. #2 is the loud music most afternoons and into the evening. It is WAY too loud. No reason why it can’t be turned down.

I stayed in Aruba for about 10 days but not at this hotel. I had to stay at eagle resort only for 1 night because of a flight change. The hotel itself is nice . The pool has a beautiful cascade and is big. The room was nice had a very spacious bedroom. The living room had a sofa bed which I never opened but I noticed it. Everything was ok until we found few roaches around. Then my mom got up in the middle of the night to use the restroom when she found a lot of roaches around. So even if the place was nice I don't think I would be going back. Hotels are expensive these days and should be pesticide once in a while to avoid this situations. I also found restaurants were not so close when walking out. There are some but most of the busy area was out of walking distance. the beach is a few blocks out..Not far away impossible to walk no but uncomfortable to carry beach towels and wet clothes back to the hotel. I don't know but I found it inconvenient. But the main reason I would never stay here or recommend it is because of the Roach problem they have.

This was a last resort to stay at since the place I reserved since December 2024 left me out in the streets (Privada Stays)!! when I arrived in Aruba. My room was dirty and outdated looking. My first night there I lifted the toilet seat to urinate and found a clump of feces there. From loose cabinet doors to stained counter tops and sofa seating areas. t.v screens dirty, fridge doors look like they were never cleaned. I used the ironing board they had and it came apart

Also, there was mold under the rim of inside the bathroom sink as well as in the cracks of the shower wall. The rug in the livingroom is very dirty and stain.

There were so many problems with the room and the front desk staff did not seem to care at all. The rooms are DIRTY. I had to ask multiple times for the floors to be mopped. My kids feet were black after walking around the room barefoot. I had to wash there feet every night before getting into bed. Housekeeping left 1 wash cloth for a family of 4. The first night housekeeping left 1 wet used wash cloth in the bathroom hung up for us to use. I had to call every day for towels and wash clothes. The sliding glass mirror doors came off the runners every time I had to open the doors. The balcony door rotted off the wooden hinges and almost fell on my son’s feet. Took maintenance two days to fix it. The A/C in the room was beyond loud. Every time it turned on it sounded like an airplane was flying by right over us. For the amount of money they charge to stay here it’s not worth it at all. I would never stay here again.

We had a large two bedroom room that was cleaned everyday. Staff was very helpful and courteous. Eagle looks just like the pictures. We will definitely stay at Eagle again. The only thing I would not do again is include breakfast in our stay . The breakfast menu is too small. Especially for non pork eating people.

Great bargain. Rooms could use a bit of a facelift (beds, couches, etc.), and the walk to the beach is a slight nuisance (5 minute walk versus Cabana hotel that’s right on the beach), but overall it’s a great deal when Palm Beach hotels are charging 400 a night with an inferior beach.

We just came back from an amazing trip to Aruba. Reviews - the hotel is very clean and the staff does a great job maintaining the pool areas. There are 3 beautiful pools and they are great with a lot of shaded areas - no issues getting seats. Very walkable to the beach and the supermarket and there is a comedy club / sports bar almost attached to the facility. Everyone working there is very nice and the vibe at the hotel is chill and low key. Lots of happy hour options as well! Cons - it’s loud. The air comes on in the room in fits and spurts and makes a loud noise for the 35 seconds it runs which woke us up multiple times at night. Try not to get a room facing the highway (sunrise tower) because we heard motorcycles whiz by at night. Tip - they do not provide conditioner or body lotion so you will need to bring your own. Overall, a great stay with the minor convenience of noise.

The king suite was huge and the kitchen would be great for a family looking to cook some meals themselves. The pools and hot tubs are clean and refreshing/relaxing. Easy walk to the beach or ask the bell hop for the free shuttle. Get to the beach before 8am if you want shade. Chairs at beach are free. The on-site restaurants are ok for quick bites/drinks by the pool but you'll have to go off site if your a foodie looking to sample some real Aruban food.

Property is great staff housekeeping , security, front desk etc. Love the staff at Uncle Tony’s especially Enrique (Columbia) they made you feel at home , very professional and friendly great service . The only two things that were disappointing was the ground floor room that we paid an extra $350.00 for our stay was an older room the last time we stayed here we had the updated ground floor room by the kiddie pool that we loved and was updated ! The older room should only be $20 extra per night . And the room can use brighter lighting the ceiling fixtures had very dim outdated fluorescent bulbs which aren’t very bright . Change them to brighter LED Bulbs . We hope to see you all next year same time !God Bless and have a great day !

Overall the stay was not bad. We enjoyed the pool, and our room was pretty clean. But the bed was not comfortable and creaked every time we turned over, the water was super hot in the bathroom, but never got hot in the kitchen sink to sufficiently wash the dishes. Also, when we tried to do yoga Monday morning, we were told by an activities person that it was on the beach. We walked to the beach only to find out it was actually by the pool. We ate at Double Down the hotel restaurant. It was okay, but definitely nothing to write home about. Typical American burgers, cheesesteak, wings. We liked that there was a Dunkin’ Donuts on site though.

Modernized property with updated kitchens and baths. Very spacious suite that had ample living space. Initially, I was concerned about not having direct beach access and views. The property makes up for that with the pools and hot tub areas, grills for cooking and pretty easy accessibility through La Cabana. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Housekeeping staff and Bell Hop/Concierge guys outside were phenomenal - always friendly, helpful and gracious. I highly recommend.

One time the server brushed it off and insinuated i was wrong. The 2nd time it was fixed but she made it seem like she was doing ME a favor by fixing it bc I was wrong!! Unbelievable! Either update or correct your menu prices or fix the correct price where it is entered by the server! We then chose to buy food and fix it ourselves rather than deal with bad service and overcharging!

The staff was very friendly and would do anything for you. Amenities were excellent! A minor complaint is having to play the towel game with the palapa and pools starting at 4am. Guessing this is the norm with many resorts. Breakfast was good with large portions but could have been warmer. We plan on returning next year.

I had high hopes for Eagle Aruba Resort, but unfortunately my experience was disappointing. Upon arrival I was charged extra for breakfast even though I had already paid for it in advance. When I brought this to the staff’s attention they were unhelpful and did not resolve the issue. To make matters worse, the service at the poolside restaurant was terrible. My group was completely ignored by the staff and we had to wait an unreasonable amount of time just to be acknowledged. For a resort that promotes itself as a relaxing getaway this lack of professionalism and poor customer service was incredibly frustrating. I hope management takes these issues seriously and makes improvements for future guests.

We have stayed at Eagle Aruba many times. The property is nice and clean. Kitchen has the basic minimal supplies. Pools are great and attendants at the pool are wonderful. Activity team also does a great job. The girls at check in and check out leave a lot to be desired. I’ve always been pleased with checking in and out but not this time. Girls are not friendly one bit and sometimes seem rude. They also are not very knowledgeable! I certainly hope this issue is addressed to make a more friendly and enjoyable atmosphere.

We arrived at the hotel around 11:30. There was nobody at the front desk. When somebody finally came out we were ignored. When we asked about checking in she said “I’m busy. Besides check in is not until 4pm”. Finally someone else came out from the back room and was able to assist. Besides checking in there were no other issues and most of the staff was helpful and friendly

We celebrated our honeymoon in Aruba and our stay at Eagle Aruba Resort was unforgettable. Everyone was so friendly, the room was spacious and big with a beautiful view of one of the three pools. The food and drinks within the resort at Uncle Tony’s pizza were delicious. It was a 5 minute walk to the grocery story, as well as a 5 minute walk to Eagle Beach where they provide you with lounge chairs and a palapa. We can’t wait to book another trip there in the future and we will definitely book at Eagle Aruba Resort again.

very convenient to supermarket across the street, so we could get our own food to prepare in our room when we didn't want to go out for a meal. Well equipped kitchen with full size refrigerator with freezer, stove and microwave. Friendly people and staff. Lots of activities at the resort. The rooms were large and seemed almost soundproof from outside activities. Blackout curtains in bedroom was the best for sleeping. Resort was fully booked but never felt crowded at the pool areas. Beach across the street was not crowded either, compared to the high rise hotel district. Safe enviroment to have a great time.

Good location & amenities. There was a very unpleasant sewer smell if you walked by the passions restaurant & Amsterdam Manor. Staff said it was from a water treatment plant & has been there for several years. But this was not Eagle Aruba resort’s fault

While the hotel is not ocean front, this allowed it to be quiet at night and a peaceful getaway with Eagle beach and several great dining options just one block away. This resort was a great place for a much needed vacation, and a great value as a whole with the daily activities. The pool was always clean, the cleaning staff did a really good job with our room, and the resort staff were all super friendly. I would like to send out special shout out to Xiovion and Pablo. Xiovion had great recommendations and made our stay that much better. Only knock, food at Uncle Tony’s and Double Down is not good, outside of the chicken panini, everything else we had was just not good including breakfast. The cocktails and cocktail specials at Uncle Tony’s are great, and the Dunkin Donuts on property was also a great place to grab breakfast in a hurry before heading to the beach or snorkeling. Overall, I would recommend this resort.

The reservation was shown as including breakfast at the time of booking; however, upon arrival, the property informed us that breakfast was not included. This hotel appeared in my search results specifically when I filtered for properties with breakfast, and I booked it without re-verifying at the final confirmation stage. There was no complimentary drinking water available at the property, which was disappointing and not commensurate with the price paid. The property also advertised a shuttle service for beach drop-off, but no such service was provided. Additionally, obtaining towels was inconvenient due to fixed and inflexible timings, which were not customer-friendly. I was also disappointed with the service levels of Hotels.com. The information provided at the time of booking was inaccurate, and it required considerable effort and multiple attempts to obtain clear and correct information from their support team. Given that there are several better beachside properties available in the area, I would skip this property in the future.

Food options at hotel very limited. We had bathroom and kitchen issues. Drains were very slow and roaches in kitchen. Dated furniture. No direct access to beach. Not the same Aruba as before. Too much construction. The island's natural beauty is decreasing with all the building around it.

Double down sports bar food gave us food poisoning!!! Would NOT recommend eating there.

The room is spacious and there’s a large fridge, microwave , toaster etc . We struggled with the thermostat, as we were told we could only adjust the temperature but never turn the AC off. Well, the thermostat didn’t work so adjusting up or down made no difference . The room was freezing all day. When it comes to breakfast, we got vouchers and tried both options. The continental breakfast was a small container of fruits , some eggs, ham/cheese, and a basket that had one croissant, 3 slices of bread and 2 pastries for 2 people. The “ a la carte “ items were varied but you can only pick one and it comes with coffee/ tea or juice . We felt they could have been more generous with the options. Overall, it was a good stay.
