Wow wow this is the best All Inclusive hotel in Aruba! We were a bit sceptical before going to this hotel due to some bad reviews, but we were pleasantly surprised when we got to our spaciously clean room with a balcony facing the main pool area and sea. All the staff from the front desk to the bar/restaurant and entertaining team (including house keeping) were very helpful and friendly, too many to mention by name, but our highlight was the Beach Club Restaurant and staff Jaime, Jozef, Gisela and Natalie, who always welcomed us with a true smile 😊

It was supposed to be all inclusive but in fact it really wasn't. Room service wasn't included. You couldn't get reservations for the other restaurants on the property and you had to eat at the buffet for the first dinner. I've never heard of such a thing. We went off property to eat some nice meals but ended up spending even more money.

We enjoyed our stay at the Barcelo, the resort location was perfect for walking around to shops, restaurants and bars. The staff were extremely accommodating and nice.

Friendly, helpful staff. Exceptional location on the beach - lots of palm trees to sit under - and on the main strip (restaurants, shops etc.) Good food at the buffet and specialty restaurants, great cocktail selection at the lobby bar! The ONLY suggestion we have is to remove the big old broken universal weight machine that's in the fitness centre, to allow for more space.
