The only way to reach hotel rooms is a small 3 persons and 3 luggage available space elevators. It felt suffocated. It's unbelievable to find that we could only carry heavy luggage through 5 steps stairway up in order to ride elevator. It's disqualified as a handicap user facility hotel. Poor and not worthy to stay.

The location is good, and room was comfortable- the only challenge is getting your luggage loaded in or out of a vehicle. There’s no loading zone- and no carts. You have to stop in the street and hope no one hits you. Plus there are multiple stairs to get to the elevator.

An service man is very friendly. Check in time in Expedia is 2PM, but, we need to wait until 3PM to go in the room. The hotel parking was full. But, there is another private parking building near the hotel and it was good.

Staff very welcoming. Lovely upgraded bathroom including a deep end of the day soothing tub. The afternoon treats and juices available unto early evening were a very pleasant surprise. And location to easily access Lake Geneva and the train station was a bonus. Little private courtyard was a nice retreat

La zona en la que está ubicada el hotel es insegura, donde se palpa de cerca la prostitución a una cuadra del hotel. El elevador viejo, pequeño, los pasillos para el acceso a habitaciones estrechos, alfombras desgastadas. Our biggest pain point was the air conditioner, it did not work and we had uncomfortable nights of sleep. We asked 4 different people over our two night stay. One cleaning person and a late night front desk person came to the room and said it should be working but neither could get it to work. The other two persons said they’d look into it but we did not hear back. We think it just didn’t work and perhaps they decided to brush it to the side. An AC is not difficult to operate. It either works or it doesn’t. The cleaning and late night staff were very nice, attentive, and did what they could.

The front-desk staff and breakfast server were all wonderful. The room was well-appointed although, due to a fire next door, the AC did not work. Staff promptly provided us with fans and arranged to comp our breakfast. Fridge wasn’t cold but overall, a pleasant and convenient location near the train station.

Da vi ankom til hotellet blev vi mødt af en venlig dame. Vi havde bestilt værelser langt fra elevatoren, men vi fik værelse lige ved siden af elevatoren. Nøglen virkede heller ikker så vi blev nødt til at gå 3 gange ned i receptionen for at få en ny nøgle. Ikke en eneste gang gik de med op for at låse op. Vi fandt sorte hår i sengen og på gulvet. Sengetøjet lugtede surt.

These were the nicest people and the most terrific staff in a very convenient location. The rooms were lovely and clean the facilities. All worked well, and this place was real value for the money. We really enjoyed our stay at the east west hotel and while it’s true, there are some red light district workers nearby, we absolutely felt comfortable.

Excellent staff - they managed an early check in for us which was very much appreciated with jet lag. Very clean hotel , nice large room Comfortable bed , great water pressure in the showers , robes etc and welcome swiss chocolate ! The soundproofing wasn’t the greatest - could hear traffic and other noise - which was ok at night because it was quiet- but tough to get a nap in the day to beat the jet lag.

The most problematic aspect was the noise, the noise from the street but also noise from people above you in the building. It’s an old building so you can hear people walking around above and next to you. The property is a little dated and could use a refresh in the rooms. It was difficult to access as the road in front does not allow for cars to stop so getting a taxi or being picked up is difficult and a bit dangerous. The staff were friendly and helpful however the morning breakfast was limited and not very fresh. Overall the experience was good but not sure if I would return again.

Mycket fin stor rum, med separat toalet, det tycker vi alltid om! ligger gångavstånd från tågstation och några minuter från bus station , vi åkte vidare. Liten bar, liten restarang ute, musigt på sommaren, säkert. Många restaurang i närheten. Den ändå att det är första hotelet som inte uppmärksamade min födelsedag, åker ofta den datumet, det är precis innan Jul. killar i repan verkade vara trötta. barn unte 12 år sover gratis om inte extra säng krävs, passade perfekt till oss. Varan son tycker inte om sova ensam på nya ställe.

Conveniently located, nice hotel. I unfortunately had a rather important reservation cancelled out of the blue (they claim it was through hotels.com, hotels.com says it was definitely them), which is very problematic for me. Sent them an email to ask about the who and why, never got a reply, which is also telling. Talked to them during my last stay, was told they didn't cancel. In short: There is not much to criticize about the hotel, but I will never stay there again.

Sorry to report a bad experience at this hotel. There was a miscommunication over the scheduling of a spa treatment and it was decided that I would be the one to take the fall. It is unfortunate to see short-sighted decisions by hotel managers in these situations, eliminating any possibility of repeat business, word of mouth recommendations, and leading to poor online reviews. This anti-service, anti-customer trend is all to prevelant in europe as a whole. Poor business practices like this don't take into consideration that swindeling a customer out of $300 and them leaving unhappy eliminates a potentially life-long customer. Lack of fundamental business concept understandings such as these are to a large degree why europe in general has become such a laggard on the world stage, and dwindles further and further into irrelevance and economic uncertainty.

A fantastic hotel with very friendly and courteous staff. The superior room booked had all amenities you may require within and was very spacious A short walk from Geneva Central Station and a 4 minute walk to the Lake, shops and Christmas markets. Would definitely recommend 👌

Great rooms. Super spacious for European standards and the room felt clean and fresh. The staff was super helpful with all of our questions and had great suggestions of things to do and places to go. Rooms were quiet and amenities were fantastic. The hotel isn’t in the best location as the safe / desirable side to be on is across the river, but needless to say, it’s a quick walk to get to the good area of town.

Mooi hotel, prettige locatie. Mooie kamers. Alleen het ontbijt absurd duur. Voor iemand die alleen een schaaltje yoghurt eet met een kopje thee is CHF21 te gortig. Ik melde dit nog en soms is men coulant rekent men niets, of de prijs van een koje koffie. Helaas.

Nice small hotel. Great bed and bathroom. Convenient location close to train station (in between very nice and very poor areas of city). Breakfast was ok, coffee was terrrible. Hoped for a nice hotel bar, but no. Expedia “VIP benefit” was not useful.
