The place is definitely beautiful and the view is priceless, the pool area is also amazing, it looks like a resort but it's not really a resort. They close the pool area at 6pm crazy! I cam at 7pm from the casino and wanted to get into the hot tub and it was close, but it was daytime even the sun was still out. The next day I spoke with the guy in the pool bar and he said that only Fridays and Saturdays are open until 9pm. If I am paying to stay there I should use it, they should close it every night at 12pm. Bad administration. They should make more money having that beautiful area more lively with nice music and drinks less expensive. Friday I pay 18.00 dollars for one cup of pinacolada, crazy. I prefer for them to charge me a little more for the room and not charge me for parking 42.00 per day when the parking was right next door and the parking lot was empty, but it was mandatory to pay because I didn't have another place. The room was clean and again the view was amazing. Please change the towers they are old, not real white any longer. They were clean but old. Please place the tv in the higher table because the table it's too low we couldn't watch tv comfortable, the bed was higher than the tv. Thank you for bringing me lemon as per my request that was very nice of you. Thanks.

Front desk lady was great. Overall enjoyable stay, however, the pool was disgusting. There was some sort of white oily film covering a large portion of the pool and the water cloudy. Garbage in and floating around the edges. Kids jumped in ahead of me and when I noticed the conditions I immediately removed them and headed straight for showers. I informed the gentleman at the desk and he stated he would contact engineering. The remainder of that day and the next saw no action being taken to remedy the situation.

It’s a nice hotel and the outdoor pool and tiki bar area is excellent. The food in the little restaurant was OK good quesadillas and snacks when we ordered a fancier dinner it was not as good and breakfast was fair. The only complaint that I have with the resort is their hidden fees. So when I booked on Expedia, there was no mention of a resort fee or parking fee. In order to park, we had to use valet parking with a bad dory $40 fee then there was also a daily resort fee which I think was an additional 30 or $40. Overall, it really increased the cost of the nightly stay. The worst thing about it was I didn’t find out about these fees until I was actually at the desk checking in which was like nine or 10 o’clock at night. Expedia should force these companies to be more transparent about the fees because I may have chosen a different hotel if I would have realized that there were going to be so many additional fees

Beautiful pool area on the intercoastal waterway with access to the beach and ocean across the street. The hotel provided chairs and towels at the beach. A 7/11 was next door to the property providing food, beverages and snacks suitable for the microwave and fridge in your room. The onsite restaurant served a very nice breakfast, lunch and dinner. Oh, and I must not forget the delicious warm choc. chip and walnut cookies you will receive on check-in.

They did not hold the room with double beds I reserved. Fortunately I was traveling with my child. They did upgrade the king bed room but then expected me to switch for my two day stay. $40/day tip for valet seemed high and silly since lot was next to hotel. Pool was nice and restaurant and tiki bar good.

Woke up to big water bugs in bathroom in the middle of the night. Microwave/fridge area was dusty looks like that area is often skipped over when cleaning. Parking was good the valet staff work fast and hard to accommodate the influx of people checking out. Hotel over could use a bit more updating. Sink outside of the bathroom gives motel vibe and it sucks to have to wash your hands in the middle of the night waking up your kids in the process. It would have made sense to add a wall to enclose the sink into the bathroom. There is plenty of room to do so. Check out via the app because line was long but it’s not the staffs fault some customers make the checkout process difficult and slows the process. Thanks for stay but I will have to pass on a return stay at this location. Too pricey for a half way done renovation and please exterminate the room for gosh sakes!!!

Friendly and accommodating staff. The property itself is on the beautiful intracoastal with access to the beach across the street. Despite the high traffic from people leaving for cruises (the lobby can get quite crowded at times), the facility is very clean and rooms spotless.

The pool area is nice right along the intercostal water way. The valet parking area in front g the hotel is very congested. I thought I had a ln ocean view room reserved, however the hotel is on the opposite side of the beach. The beds were comfortable. The ironing board was broken, no available wash cloths for showering, the chair had multiple stains and the soap dispensers in the shower were empty. Not impressed for the amount of money spent for this room.

I love the location, the view from some of the rooms is amazing but, only the ones on the north side of the building. On the other side you'll only see the building next to it. (Walls) The view from the pool is beautiful. Service is okay. Housekeeping service is not good at all, the shower in my room had black mold, and in one of my stays I didn't get my room cleaned. The beds are very confy and the rooms spacious. Other than the housekeeping service, I love the stays in this Hotel.

For 920 dollars for 2 nights I expected more. My sheets had stains on them (not from me). Over all it was clean but there was 1 teeny tiny roach in the bathroom. The shower took 10 minutes for it to heat up and most of the staff I couldn’t communicate with because they didn’t speak English. Not judging anyone who doesn’t speak English but it was hard to ask questions or get assistance when I couldn’t communicate with them. The valet guys were super nice tho because my mom is disabled and they helped us with her motorized scooter. I did get yelled at by a staff member for having my own beer at the pool. I didn’t see the sign at first. Also at check in they only had 1 person working the front desk and massive line of the people. Even though they took my Id at check in my last name was all messed up and had to call front desk to get access to WiFi. Beds were really comfortable tho despite the stained sheets. Love the balcony and the pool was great

It was an average property. A bit overpriced. Pool was nice but could use cleaning. One night during stay...the power and a/c went out overnight while sleeping and took a while for the a/c to come back on. The toilet did not flush properly either. We had to open back up tank to make sure it was filling every time we used to ensure the tank was filling up and tap on the flush.

Rooms have never been updated, Old and ugly. The hotel wasn't good. They forgot to do our room one day, and the other day they left a bottle of bleach open in the room. I will never recommend this hotel for that price. Only one good thing the restaurant food was great and the staff was amazing.

Claiming to have a partial ocean view was a joke. Indeed the view in my room was largely the wall of the building next door. Beware the multiple add-ons including taxes, facility fees, and even parking at $45/day. In the end it was not at all worth the price paid.

We arrived at the hotel early, because we had just got off a cruise. We expected to just store our luggage and hang out for the day until check in time. Instead, they assigned us a room right away, which was great. We had an issue with our room that we reported the next morning. They immediately offered us another room without any hassle. The second room was great and without any issues. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. It is a little walk to the beach but there is a crosswalk in front of the hotel and the walk wasn’t bad. We went to the beach for a little while, but didn’t stay because of high winds. The pool is very nice and the staff at the local restaurant and the tiki bar were very friendly and efficient. We spent our days just lounging by the pool and enjoying the warm weather. There is a 7-11 store right next to the hotel which was convenient for miscellaneous snacks and drinks. For one meal at Padrino’s Cuban Restaurant, which was very good and just a fifteen-minute walk away. I would not hesitate staying here again.

The customer service was a horrible experience. Check-in is at four and we didn’t check in till almost an hour and a half later. The room was not clean and had a stench to it. The balcony was also a mess. On the bright side, the gentleman working the valet were extremely patient and helpful.

We loved our stay at Double tree - Hollywood beach . It is walkable distance to the beach . Kristine was so nice at the reception. Nice pool with good views . Many mirrors in the room so multiple people in the family can get ready at the same time . Resort fee includes an umbrella and 2 chairs that you can use at Hollywood- Hallandale beach . 5 stars for customer service that Kristine provided .

The front desk woman that checked us in did a terrible job at explaining the charges to us and charged us a visitor fee when we had no visitor. She charged our card three times in error. I will never go back to this hotel again.

The hotel is nice and the staff are friendly but the restaurant service was terrible. The staff were friendly but it was crazy slow both nights we stayed and we were often forgotten even when the restaurant was not busy. It took 30 mins to get a beer we ordered one night and the food came out before we got our drinks on another night. This made for restless kids for sure. The food and drinks are expensive which is fine but there is an auto gratuity even if the service is bad. The servers apologized both nights for the bad service but we still have to tip them. Other than that the hotel property is is nice and the pool is great.

Hotel was great. Fantastic corner king room. Staff were very engaging and curteous. Pool was great and beach was fully available. But Limited restaurant options within a mile. Hollendale beach road was like a raceway much of the time. Very noisy, like downtown Manhatten. No place to walk except along beach. Would never go back to Ft. LAUDERDALE.

For the price and resort charges there was literally nothing extra. Pool bar not open during week. Out of food and no shuttle. No water at front desk everyday. Front desk didnt know anything. No help at all. Buffet breakfast was 67 for 2 people.

This was our third or fourth stay at the Doubletree Resort by Hilton Hollywood Beach and we will keep visiting. I also want to give a shout out to the hotel restaurant, Port South and Lava Tiki Bar. Delicious food, large portions and drinks.

Resort fee and parking too expensive for an older hotel! We paid in advance for breakfast and thought were paying for buffet breakfast! We had to eat the exact same thing every single day (eggs, bacon, home fries and toast)! Very upsetting!

The hotel is nice and the staff are friendly but the restaurant service was terrible.
