I travelled by motorcycle and managed to park in the properties garage. Had to pay a small fee but was worth it for security and peace of mind. Would definately stay again if I was in the area.

Es ist schwierig ein Parkplatz zu bekommen auf der öffentlichen Straße. Wir haben im Parkhaus parken müssen, für eine Nacht sind das 16€. Wir wollten Abends im Hotel etwas essen, die Bedienung konnte kaum englisch und hat sich auch keine Mühe gegeben. Der Aufzug ist längerfristig außer Betrieb und wir mussten in den 3. Stock unsere beiden großen Koffer tragen, da wir in Frankreich eine Rundreise mit Hotel hopping machen. Das einfache Zimmer für 2Personen ist sehr klein und man konnte kaum einen Koffer öffnen, besser ist ein größeres Zimmer zu buchen. Das Frühstück war von der Bedienung sehr schlecht, es gab keine( Personal von der Rezeption machten auch das Frühstück und saßen zu 4 dort und spielten am Handy). Wenn etwas alle ist musste man an der Rezeption Bescheid sagen, es wurde auch nichts von alleine abgeräumt bzw. Aufgefüllt. Alles in allem muss ich sagen, hatte ich solch einen schlechten Service noch nie erlebt und war echt schockiert. Das Zimmer war wenigstens sauber und ordentlich gewesen.

Great staff. We stayed on the 3 floor w no elevator so luggage up and down was a chore. We lived our family stay here. We had room service and cast our tv and watched some Netflix.

I don’t understand why this hotel has such good reviews. It’s very basic and overpriced. We chose it for parking but the car park was full so we had to pay to park in the multi story car park nearby. The hotel smelt of drains and both my kids felt very uneasy there. The room itself was clean and the beds were fine.

Tout était impeccable, la literie, le petit déjeuner, l’accueil… le seul problème est le parking ; heureusement que j’avais réservé une place. Ma fille qui avait aussi une chambre est venu avec ses deux chiens. Elle a dû payer 15€ par chien, ce qui est très cher !

Very positive stay. Conveniently placed hotel (we parked our car at the parking house next to the Station a couple of 100m from the hotel). Nice cozy interior ... nice rooms .. and good breakfast buffet. We would definitely consider using this hotel again if/when we return to Caen

Hôtel bien placé et on trouve facilement à se garer dans le quartier. Chambre assez grande, moderne et propre. Il y a une Nespresso. Beaucoup d’étagères, pratiques pour ranger. Une boîte de mouchoirs dans la chambre et ça serait parfait ! Petit-déjeuner assez varié.

The room was barely big enough to turn around in. We had to skillfully arrange luggage placement so we could get into the bed. The bathroom sink was super tiny and splashed out easily. For a one night stop, it’s okay but wouldn’t recommend anything longer. It’s very close to the train and bus stations so there are a few sketchy people milling around.

Much better than expected, very convenient to train station and to car rentals, small space but very well designed (easy to get around room/bathroom with space on either side of bed for luggage, etc. Room was clean, bedding comfortable, excellent bathroom. Breakfast was fabulous and plentiful, great value. Highly recommend staying here.

My wife and I stayed one night at the hotel and found the staff friendly. The hotel was close to the train station which was a plus for us. The room was nice and quiet with AC. The bed was comfortable and the room was updated. Extra pillow were nice.

First day no soaps in bathroom, had to tell reception which was sorted.Second and Third day water and coffee pods not replaced in room.On our last morning not enough staff to keep breakfast running smoothly. They run out of hot food took a long time to replace,then no toast or croissants and again took long time to replace, but did find water and coffee in our room when we returned from a day trip. So while clean comfortable and quiet fell short on room service and kitchen staff.

We really appreciated the professional and friendly staff here after a long journey. They looked after us and made us feel welcome. The bar area is smart, the beer and breakfast was great. Would definitely recommend.

The hotel was excellent. I chose it for its proximity to the train station as I was planning day trips to Bayeux and Deauville, but it is still an easy walk to the historic centre of the city and also is very close to the tram routes and a free navette (shuttle) to the centre which I did not use but saw it go past. My room was spotlessly clean and very quiet, and the front desk staff were very friendly and seemed to enjoy their work. The breakfast had lots of variety and was delicious. I highly recommend it.

Very noisy area. Kind of varsity-party type location. No parking. Vastly expensive restaurants with moderately good food. Just a bad experience compared to other cities we’ve been in. Must have been the location as other neighborhoods looked much better.

Nice hotel. I wasn’t thrilled with the area. It didn’t seem the safest and I run in the morning which I only did once there. The room my sister had was much bigger than mine although we paid the same. No fridge in the room and amenities are minimal. Overall it was fine to access DDAY beaches.
