Marriott Hartford/Windsor Airport

The hotel itself was clean, the rooms really good. Food was definitely overpriced with a 5 dollar room service delivery fee. The pool was frigid. The only complain I have is that this hotel double charged me ! I had booked the hotel through hotel.com and when I checked out, the front desk charged my card for the the stay and I had already paid. I am still waiting for a refund !

Quiet and safe location. 10 minutes from the airport and easy parking

I stayed with my family. The floor we were on was so quiet. I’m not sure if this is a family type hotel as I never saw any children and it was also a very quiet hotel. The pool was also not available the first day/night because it was under maintenance. The food is a little pricey so just be mindful of that when thinking of breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There are other places close by to eat at. The room was clean but the tv kept freezing for unknown reasons. However, the staff seemed very friendly and helpful. The kids did use the pool the next day and enjoyed it very much. There is also a water fountain on the first floor near the entrance, if you are someone who drinks a lot of water or plans to use the gym during your stay.

Spacious lobby, lots of parking with plenty of hotel entrances leading in from parking. Cleanliness was ok but not perfect if you’re picky like I am. The charging/USB receptacles near the nightstand were sticky to the touch. There was some minor yuk in the corners of the shower. The mattress was way too soft for my liking, but some may prefer it that way. We were surprised to find there is an eight dollar fee to access wifi, seems like an unnecessary money grab. My biggest dislike was the terrible squeaking and screeching sounds made by the sliding bathroom door. We tried to be careful with it but I’m sure it could be heard in the adjacent rooms. It’s a simple maintenance item that should have been identified by housekeeping and corrected before making the room available.

very nice clean room. The shuttle bus driver John is an exceptional employee. Super helpful. He is so proud of his hotel and the community. 10 out of 10.

I have been stating this property 2-3x per year for the last four years. My daughter was a student at UConn and as a family it was easy to stay here to get quickly back and forth to the airport when necessary. This experience by far was the worst. We checked in and got a room with dead bugs in the bed. We requested another room and was sent to a room where housekeeping attendants were outside the room looking at the their phones and not cleaning for at least 15 minutes. And when we got inside the room, the sofabed was unmade. Again another trip to the front where we were told the hotel was busy with lots of children and other customers wanted the beds that way and didn’t mind. The rest of the evening was filled with running and screaming children for a good part of the night while I was trying to get a good night’s rest after flying to see my daughter graduate today. Usually the hotel is at best serviceable to accommodate my needs- no fuss, no frills etc. I usually don’t expect much because of the location but this time it was not good. Do better.

The bathroom door was disgusting. It has stuff all over the door - not sure what it was but it had not been wiped down in a while. The same with the walls in the actually room. They were very, very dirty and could be cleaned or repainted. You can tell that this Marriott property is not maintained as well as other Marriotts. Pretty disappointed in this stay as I do stay in Marriotts quite a bit.

There were rose petals still on the floor from a previous customer. When i went to pull out the pull out sofa for my son, the linens were clearly still on it, dishoveled and covered in even more rose petals.

Super clean, beautifully decorated...a real gem.

Dirty rooms (found gummiy snacks in the bed) (and random things such as ball of yarn on the floor) dirty lobby, no fan in bathrooms gets stuffy and mirror fogs up, coffee maker missing pieces in room. Purchased coffee and juice in the lobby. Cost $11. Elevators filthy and need updating. Laundry room consists of one washer and one dryer and dryer is out of order. Front desk was zero help and not patient nor helpful when I addressed these issues.

Room was not very clean. Bedding and rugs had stains. Floors were not clean and the toilet paper holder immediately fell off the wall. Food and drinks were good but overpriced.

It was pretty clean; there was something going on with the shower the floor got soaking wet and the air conditioning was a little wonky.

I absolutely loved this hotel. Check in was easy. I had a corner room and it was perfect. It was spacious, the bathroom was great, the blow dryer was really nice, the shower was large. Good toiletries. The bed was comfortable. It was clean and updated. I have no complaints. I will be back.

THE MOST COMFORTABLE BEDS

We did not have a door for the bathroom which was very uncomfortable for a family of 4. There was just a cloth shower curtain that barely covered the entrance.

My Expedia confirmation number for this stay is 73146506100801 I am writing to express my absolute outrage and deep disappointment following a horrifying experience at your Marriott property located at 28 Day Hill Road, Windsor, CT. I checked in during the early hours of the morning—approximately 1:00 a.m.—only to find the hotel in complete darkness, with no power, no lighting, no WiFi, and no working electrical outlets. This was not only unacceptable—it was unsafe and outright dangerous. I was forced to shower using the flashlight on my phone, and despite being a paying guest, I could not charge my phone or access WiFi until the following evening. The situation escalated when I attempted to leave the room: the entire corridor and elevator area were pitch black. I had to carry my young child and our luggage down six flights of stairs in total darkness. That is an extreme safety hazard and a complete failure of basic hospitality and duty of care. Let me be very clear: This experience was traumatizing, unsafe, and unfit for any guest, much less a parent traveling with a child.

Room was clean and in good condition. However, no staff was at the front desk for an early check out and the man driving the shuttle bus to the airport was rude. Not a great way to start a day of long travel.

Front desk wasn’t very friendly while checking in, the bar staff were extremely rude. It took them 26 minutes to acknowledge me. I was just waiting to place a to go order and have a drink. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

We had a volleyball tournament and had to move to this hotel from a really bad experience! Tonie at the front desk was soooo helpful and made sure our room was ready fast so our kids can shower before the tournament! Highly recommend this hotel !

Tjis hotel hosted the coronation for the Imperial Sovereign Court of CT and has for 19 years. The service, attentiveness, and quality never faulters. Loved staying hear. It is well ran and well maintained. Biggest appreciation to Enita the bartender, and the shuttle drivers, Frank and John. Even in the middle of a snow storm, this was a warm, inviting space!

Customer service was terrible. There was one Black staff member who was awesome with Braids. Other than that when we asked for an extra roll of toilet paper, we we're met with "Didn’t the room come stocked". This was after we extended our stay so yes an extra roll along with the hospitality should've been upheld. The housekeeping staff was very generous but front desk was horrible.

Tha bed was super comfy. 2nd time staying here. Asked for wake up call twice and never got one each time. That would be my only complaint.

Very convenient, just off the interstate—warm and welcoming lobby, chill vibe, friendly staff. We booked a reasonable rate. Clean linens, pool, gym, coffee in the am—easy like Sunday morning. Highly recommended.

One of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed at during a road trip stopover. Close enough to the highway to be convenient but far enough to be very quiet during our stay. Room was spacious and very clean and the bed was very comfortable. I wish we had more time to spend but will definitely return. Beautiful view from our room!

Clean & comfortable accommodations at a reasonable price. Good food & service at Rverend’s restaurant.

This hotel was very pricey and for breakfast for 2 people was $67 extra for buffet style, which they ran out of food, but yet that’s the price you still had to pay. when they did replenish the food. It was not hot. It was $23.99 for each person to have a buffet and then they charge you additionally for juice, tea or coffee on top of you paying $220 for one night that makes no sense to me. They also charge an $7.99 for internet service. The staff was friendly and accommodating, the facility was clean however one night stay should not have been $300 with breakfast.

Great sevicw in the restaurant

After a week in a horrible bed it was wonderful to sleep in a Marriott Bed! It made an abrupt flight cancellation most enjoyable, especially when they served an amazing chopped salad with a restaurant open until 11 pm!

The coffee maker in the room was dirty. It had what looked like sour milk residues. The breakfast buffet was $24 per person. No other breakfast option. The buffet was awful for the price.

Hotel was lovely and the staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was scant in offerings, stale, and terribly over priced ($25 per person).

The hotel was very clean and nice but the restaurant could not keep up with the orders and the bartender was extremely rude and mean when I asked for a menu at 9:20I called earlier and the front desk stated the kitchen served till 11pm) and was rudely told the kitchen is too backed up, that they cannot take any more orders, and that they are at least 30 minutes behind. She was a very mean in her conversation speaking to us like we were trash and not giving me any other choices. I had said I was starving I needed to eat dinner and she basically said we are not serving and walked away for me. I would’ve gladly waited for 30 minutes and there is a much better ways treat your customers. I went 6min around the corner to Buffalo Wild Wings and was treated very kindly by the bartender . She was very efficient and professional and she had more customers than they did at the restaurant

It was great!! I did a late booking yesterday and since my first call the staff was so helpful! They picked me up from airport. Restaurant there- Anita! Omg what a kind and nice person, her supervisor also was so nice! they get the cappuchino that I was craving! Facilities were clean and nice. Recommended!!!!
