Hampton Inn Hartford/Airport

Staff helpful and friendly. Love the shuttle service. However pool area dirty, dead flies in window areas, spider weds. Pool Bathrooms haven’t been cleaned- shower stall filthy with dead bugs. Tiles dirty with built up dirt. Hotel room floor dusty and lots of ‘dust bunnies’, Bathroom tub had had short black hair in it- yuck! I have long hair. I was surprised how lax housekeeping was for a Hilton property. I’ve stayed there many times over the years, maybe there is a staffing challenge. Or zero training.

The swimming pool and jacuzzi very nice. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. The shuttle driver will take you to any store within a 3 mile radius and they take you to and from the airport. VERY HELPFUL!

Shuttle to airport 24/7

The hotel is beautiful! I loved the pool, hot tub and gym. The breakfast was nice as well. Very good staff. They texted me to make sure everything was ok. Free parking and airport shuttle also a plus.

The property is under renovations on the 4th floor. The cleanliness of the floors were undesirable overall, with our room, the rug had quite a few bug stains that were brown, most of the pillow cases were yired looking. Things were in need of updates, as they are doing to be dair. The indoor pool was too cold to swim in, but the pooland hot tub were clean. The work out room was grear. The staff was very accommodating and kind. Overall, I would stay again if the pool temp was at least 81, and the rug was reolaced in the room.

Particularly appreciated the accessibility features, noting a lift for the pool and the hot tub; and appreciating the walk-in shower with grab rails and stool in the room as requested. Breakfast fare was average. Hot beverages available all day. Would have liked a quiet area for a business call, other than the pricey meeting room, but locations were fine for non-confidential calls. In evenings many trucks for a local company took many parking spots, meaning available parking was further back in the lot (a commercial parking arrangement with the hotel?). The staff were without exception helpful and friendly.

2 night stay, great amenities, able to work remotely. Breakfast options were good (different every day) and jacuzzi and pool was nice ✨

Many trucks for the same company were parked each evening, taking many spots and meaning available parking was further away (perhaps a parking deal with the hotel?) - we still found parking. Accessibility options were very good, with lifts for both the pool and the hot tub and the accessible shower in the room first-rate. Breakfast options were average. I wish there had been a quiet nook for a business call other than the pricey meeting room.

Staff was super nice, but then was so disappointed when we got to our room. It was extremely dirty and run down.

Front desk staff was nice. We get into our room 219 and I check for bedbugs. I didn't see any signs, but there were crumbs under the matress pad and ontop of the box spring. I'm not sure the sheets were changed. There were too many hairs!!! The carpet had not been swept, there were crumbs and 2 tags from new clothing on the carpet. In the bathroom there was a lot of hair, dust and filth behind the door and in the corners. Hair, dust, grim and dried urine behind the toilet. My husband went to the front desk. We were given a new room - not a whole lot better. Crumbs and who knows what at the head of the beds, by the night stands - hair on the bathroom floor. The comforter and pillow cases smelled of cologne - did these get changed?! We showered before we left! We will never stay here again!!!

The room I stayed in was not cleaned and left over items/food from prior stay was in the fridge, dirty bathroom and very dusty

The hotel was very clean, the staff was helpful, and the pool area was really nice and well kept up.

There was hair in the tub. It was close to the airport and had a shuttle.

Friendly staff Clean premises

We arrived early and our room was already cleaned and ready for us. The front staff person was very courteous and friendly. Room was spacious and clean with a comfortable bed after a long day of driving!

My husband and I were both surprised when we arrived at the Hampton Inn Hartford/Airport. Compared to other Hampton Inn's that we have stayed at, this one generally looks run-down and dirty, both in the lobby, hallway, and the rooms. The carpet is dingy and dirty, the lobby floors need to be cleaned more frequently, the toilets in the rooms had rings in them and were dirty, also dirty around the outside of the toilet and on the bathroom floors, including hair, etc from prior guests. Overall, the floors in the rooms were also dirty. Crumbs, dirt, more hair, etc. Same for both areas with hard flooring and carpet. Even the coverlets on the beds were dirty. All in all, we were so not impressed. Bright spot was the service at the front desk. No so bright spot was your maintenance personnel. He was just rude, and also lazy. When we turned on the heat in the room, as it was chilly for our stay, a horrible burning smell came out. When the maintenance personnel arrived, he just said that's "normal" when turning on the heat after it has been off for a while. Which did not make sense as it was May and the temperature for many recent May evenings had been down in the 20's and 30's. When I would see the same maintenance personnel at other times, he always appeared to be on a break, and not really working. Just a disappointing stay and a bit grossed out by the filth and how unclean every area and our rooms were.

The room was nice and also quiet. Parking was included which we really liked. We wanted a full bathtub and got that. We also enjoyed the continental breakfast immensely. Negatives: The after hours hotel food options were limited; while coffee was always available, real half-and-half was only available during breakfast; the design of the room's bathroom door was pretty strange and didn't offer privacy.

Property is in a neighborhood. Room decor is contemporary. The only thing I didn’t like was there was only a shower and no tub. I was looking forward to an Epsom salt soak. Check in was warm and efficient and easy parking.

We liked the room but the guest next door was a bit loud, and the sound unfortunately traveled through the adjoining door. Guests should be made aware if a room they are renting has such a door.

There was loose screws in the door to the bathroom and a lot of loose hair all over the place.

The pool and parking were great but my bed was horrible. The mattress was lumpy, and the bed made noise every turn I made. Didn’t sleep good at all.

NICE LARGE ROOMS ,QUIET,GOOD BREAKFAST

The property is in a great location, making access to the airport very easy. The room had issues - the bathroom fan needs replacing as it screeched for the first three minutes of being on. The king bed had queen sheets on it. And the shower on/off knob came off the wall when turning it. General maintenance is sorely needed.

The property itself is beautiful and newly renovated in 2023, hopefully they will update the guest rooms at some point as they are anything but beautiful. The outlet cover next to the bed my son was sleeping in was not attached to the wall and had open/exposed wiring. Also, light sleepers beware due to the proximity to the freeway, you will need earplugs.

The front desk staff were all amazing. I used the shuttle to get to the airport & it was super easy & convenient.

The lobby and pool area were nice. Our room was nice except the toilet wasn't flushing upon arrival. After a call to the front desk, someone just dropped off a plunger at our door. After I attempted to plunge their broken toilet for them, it still did not work. I called the front desk again and was simply told that there weren't any other rooms. Finally, after convincing the front desk lady that we really do need a toilet to survive the night, we were assigned a new room. Later that night, we discovered that my daughter forgot her blanket in the old room and the other front desk lady was nice enough to let us in to get it. The next morning, there was no one at the feont desk for us to check out. I was glad that we hadn't needed the airport shuttle.

Sherries was fantastic at check-in and very helpful and accommodating.

Did not like that we had to wait 35 minutes to check in at 335pm When we had originally tried to check in earlier at 11 am had an early flight - last minute because of a funeral and wake we had to attend So they knew we wanted to check in Then we had no maid service to our room the entire stay One employee sat in front of the elevator with a dirty laundry bin playing his iPhone games for a good half hour and gave us nasty looks when we took the elevator to get a coffee in the lobby Staff needs a better work ethic The hotel was great staff needs work

It was extremely convenient since the car rentals are closed when we get in. Shuttle to the hotel, and back the next day to the airport for car rental. Very easy. Good breakfast too.

This was the perfect place for us to stay before an early morning flight out of Bradley. There was a good BBQ restaurant right next door and my grandchild enjoyed swimming in the pool the night before. The airport transfer was a big plus.

This was close to the airport. Hotel was okay. The price was a bit high for the stay. Only plus is it's close to airport and food. Bed was comfortable.

I didn’t have a vehicle for this visit and I appreciated that it wasn’t too far of a walk to find restaurants and a convenience store.

Always enjoy staying at this property as it close to the freeway and have in close proximity to restaurants.

If you need a place near the airport, you can't beat the cleanliness and comfort.

Check-in was very strange. The person who checked us in asked for information that all should have been available through our booking. The person insisted on seeing my partner's ID even though I made the reservation. I have booked dozens of hotels through Expedia and never had a check-in process like this. The bed linens seemed to have been thrown together with whatever odds and ends were lying around. The ice bucket was wet, raising questions about cleanliness, and there were black specks in the ice, seriously suggestive of mold. At breakfast, the orange juice was extremely watered down. The plastic covers for the paper coffee cups did not fit, making any take-away coffee impossible. Overall, a wholly unpleasant stay. I would strongly not recommend.

We are always happy with the Hampton Inn. It is clean, comfortable, the people are friendly. They also offer a great breakfast.

I think hotels by Hilton will be the only properties I may stay at for now on. Very clean, very safe, nothing looks outdated or like I need to sanitize the area to feel safe there. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was very clean, the pictures of the options are what you actually get (unlike some properties trying to lure you in!) the location is very convenient. Very close to airport but you do not hear the planes. There is a steakhouse next door. Convenient dinning options. Breakfast in the morning has great options. Coffee available all day in the lobby. Easy to access and safe parking. I highly recommend this options for a comfortable stay.

The hotel was surprisingly clean easy friendly. The breakfast was quite good. The fruit was fresh and did not look like it had been in the refrigerator for three days. The bread was fresh the granola was fresh coffee was decent
