Lovely property and location with wonderful staff. Unfortunately ruined by false advertising of a gym, spa, sauna and hot tub which were not there. They were being refurbished and gutted it. When I approached ri check out early to find a hotel with a gym as I always need a gym, they refused a refund. I left early anyway. Expedia did try to help but nothing from the hotel. Also of note, a very noisy room and hard to sleep.

There is no hot tub! This is falsely advertised. I asked the front desk about it, they chuckled and said they don’t have it anymore. We booked this hotel after a 5 day hike, specifically to relax in the hot tub. We were very disappointed that it didn’t exist. They also provide you with a WhatsApp number for the front desk, that no one ever responds to. We called for room service at least 10 times from the room phone with no pick up, same with the front desk. We stayed for 2 days and they never refilled our coffee pods for our coffee maker. On a positive note, the hotel is clean and the restaurant was very good. We didn’t have a bad experience but we were disappointed several times with service and false advertising.

The hotel is clean but pretty average, nothing much to write home about. If you're like us and specifically booked this place because of the sauna/hot tub after a long day of hiking, you're going to be very disappointed. It costs 20k Pesos (20USD) and even if you book the spa in advance they will not preheat anything, so well before anything gets to temperature, they will start shoving you out because your hour is up.

When we checked in at the regular check in time, they assigned us a room that had not been cleaned. Then they reassigned us to a room that was occupied. The third time they assigned us a room that did not have any toilet paper or toiletries. We left the property without spending the night and they did not offer a refund.

O quarto que fiquei era muito pequeno mal dava para abrir uma mala, a persiana não bloqueia a luz e a janela não é antirruído. Não conseguimos dormir por causa do barulho dos carros passando. O frigobar não funciona. Chegamos antes das 9:00 e a recepção estava fechada, ficamos esperando no carro até que um senhor nos avisou que poderiamos entrar pela entrada da outra rua, do Hotel Amasur. Poderiam deixar um aviso na porta. O café da manhã não estava incluso e nos passaram um valor que inclusive estava no balcão, mas o valor estava errado, era maior, não tomamos o café no hotel, não pelo valor, mas pela falta de honestidade. Recepção que acabamos entrando do Almasur foi muito boa e acolhedora, mas do Express onde eu me hospedei achei a recepção dos funcionários péssima, enfim, não recomendo. Naoc

I found the check in experience to be very frustrating. Supposedly as a VIP Gold Expedia member I can get early check in and upgrades if possible as loyalty perks. Not only coukd I not check in early, but I had to wait a further 15 minutes after the official check in. And then I was given what have been the most undesirable room in the building..literally in the basement. Two small beds and no windows.oh one that looked into the hallway. The room was clean but really pretty basic for the price you pay….and breakfast wasn’t even included..I was glad I was only staying one night.

The room was comfy but really small, the shower and sink were in the same space as the bed. The location was great, you could walk everywhere from the hotel. The staff were not very accommodating and there was a lack of communication and understanding.

The room is not sound proofed at all and we were woken up multiple times at night because of shouting on the streets and people walking by. Also our room, 419, has a window that faced toward a shaft. It smells funny and also we are just meters away from another window from another room and it felt incredibly awkward. Oh btw the sink is so tiny whenever you wash your hand the water spilled absolute everywhere in the ground. A 4 star hotel with no window and give off dungeon vibe... DONT COME

The hotel was at full capacity and the staff seemed totally unprepared for this. At check in we were given a room that was occupied (Imagine the shock of walking into a room after an hour in reception to find it dirty, with other people’s stuff!). Breakfast was lackluster and the staff insisted on charging it although it was clearly stated it was included in the reservation. Definitely not recommending or returning

The bathroom is very tiny so much so that washing your hands in the sink proves impossible . The “full” breakfast is mediocre . We’ve been having breakfasts included in all our hotels during this trip. Almasur’s serves the same exact foods but the quality and taste is sub-par. The scrambled eggs might as well been called soup. Coffee is just brown colored water . Etc . And the front desk staff is anything but welcoming. The man was pushy; not all suited for his role at the front desk.

Dining room is not very good. I specified how I wanted my steak cooked (medium) and they sent it out raw. It was absolutely disgusting and when I tried to send it back and get something else instead, they wanted to charge me for 2 meals. Manager had gone home so there was no one to appeal to. Would not recommend eating at their restaurant.
