We stayed one night in a poolside deluxe room with breakfast included. The room and the bathroom require renovation. The water provided by the hotel was already open. A plus -the aircon worked well. Breakfast was terrible. We ate around 8am and the very limited offerings seemed like they had been there since 6am. The pool on the ground floor was extremely small and overcrowded. There was a lovely pool on the rooftop, which had noone in it, great cocktails and a view of the sea! The entire area on the rooftop was being renovated and painted, as we found out by having blobs of white paint on our legs and feet as it had fallen in the pool. At least a lasting memory of the holiday. I don't think it was cheap by any standards.

Room clean staff great Bungalow was very spacious.Breakfast good .Upstairs pool has no steps to get in and out just a platform hardly anyone used it .Which made down stairs pool very busy .lovely gardens.

Rooftop pool was a must every day with excellent service and a range of different seating areas. The only issue we found was there were no towels left a few of the times we wanted to swim. Staff were very kind and always accommodating when we needed them.

The resort is very clean and extremely helpful and lovely staff. Breakfast was plentiful, egg station : omelette, fried, scrambled or poached & bacon to your liking, Indonesian food, selection of cakes and pastries. Pools both very clean with swim up bars with staff until 8pm; rooftop adults only pool amazing with views overlooking ocean & sunset views. Room very clean, large and big balcony.

I enjoyed my stay here, left yesterday. Good Customer Service, 2 pools, Onsite Restaurant, Breakfast offered for a fee, Refrigerator in room, 5 min. Walk to the beach, shopping close by, bars close by. Cons (The Y bar noise if you're on that side of the property) Live music, very loud at night. DRY the Pillows and bedding COMPLETELY! If not it leaves a VERY sour smell that will stink up the ENTIRE room. I had to have all of the bedding removed; thankfully I always travel with my own sheets, pillow ect. No microwave, limited television options, unable to connect my Netflix Account to the t.v. Overall, I definitely recommend this Hotel.

I really enjoyed my stay here: Pros for me when Traveling. The property has a great breakfast/Restaurant AND room service. About a 5 min. Walk to the beach. Pharmacy seconds away/souvenir shops/other restaurants/currency transfer ect. Refrigerator in the room is HUGE for me when Vacationing. I had a balcony. Great pools! Great Staff! Cons: The bedding smelled sour/pillows. It comes from not drying the bedding COMPLETELY. Luckily I bring my own sheets/pillow and mattress cover. The Bar next door has great Live music but if you're fussy about noise just book towards the BACK of the Property. I was shocked that there was a Confederate Flag showcased in the hallway. I don't expect everyone to know American History but that flag represents Racism, rape, torture and murder amongst other negative elements. Definitely NOT great having that there. Just saying...

I was there for 7 nights, while the staff were nice enough, the rooms were mouldy and smelt like septic. I requested to be moved 3 times which they catered for.buy every room.was the same and the owner was getting frustrated with me. Would not recommend sadly.

The room I booked was under renovation so I was given an upgrade but had to sleep in a small single bed. AC worked good, couldn’t have shower as it was inside a big bath tub which had a high step. The TV was all snowy so couldn’t watch it and a lumpy pillow which was not usable. The room was large with slippery tiles and no umbrella provided in the room so got very wet walking to reception.

Stayed in a delux wing room. It was a little noisy until 11 due to sports bar down stairs. Recommend delux room pool view and this will likely prevent the noise or the garden premium rooms. Pool was great and grounds nice. Internet was poor as well from our room but everywhere else seemed good. Service was ok but charged for a bucket of ice. Both pools were great and warm temp. Cheaper option than I normally stay at but would likely stay again

I only stayed 1 night in a superior cottage so am judging my experience on that. The room was on the side so my view was of a concrete wall and didn't feel safe. There was only 1 light in the main area of the room so had a very dinghy feeling. The cottages are very old and had a funny smell. Perhaps the hotel rooms are better but I wouldn't book again, there are much better and cheaper options

Everyone was eager to help make our stay great. We didn't like the fact they only offer one key per room when there was two to share so when we went out separate I had to get the staff to let me in the room

Some staff was very rude. Still waiting to see the manager. I was swimming in the pool upstairs after 8am and was told get out im going to clean. Pool opens at 8am should have cleaned before that especially in the holiday season

Some of the reception staff were rude and not helpful. The room was sort of clean the floor was awful, it needed a good deep clean still had dust everywhere. The door to the balcony would not close properly the bottom of the door was broken. The fridge did not work and we ask for them to come have a look and never saw anybody or got any update. We had items go off because of this. Breakfast do not bother as it was you get what you pay for crap.

Friendly helpful staff. Lovely maintained grounds and pool. Awesome rooftop pool and bar with great Bloody Mary’s and other cocktails. Location is close to beach and plenty of great restaurants. Y sports bar at the front of the hotel has a great atmosphere. All you can eat breakfasts are a hit. Thankyou to all staff at the New Garden View Resort for a great week.

Property is a bit tired, top pool deck area needs some work but still nice to enjoy the view and pool area. Breakfast was very limited and if you stay here would recommend paying for room without breakfast. Towels were old with the edges hanging off and we had to ask for more towels. Our deluxe pool view room(207) was more of a breakfast view room so wasn't worth the extra money. On a positive the bed was comfy, we didn’t hear any noise from the sports bar next door and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Location is great so if your on a budget I wouldn't discount it !!!

Whilst I enjoyed staying at this hotel its cleanliness was a little to be desired. Breakfast was limited. I ended up eating out. With all that said knowing what I know now I would stay again but not with a breakfast package.
