Ein Hotel der alten Schule, höflich und zuvorkommend, aber nicht aufdringlich. Ein großer Außen-Pool -gefühlt 20 Grad warm- lädt zum Bahnenziehen ein, immer genügend freie Liegen. Zwei weitere wärmere Außen-Pools im Spa mit Massagedüsen. Ein Sauna-Bereich mit meheren Saunarten. Hier geben wir als Nutzer der heißen trockenen Sauna einen Punkte Abzug für die Hygiene. Der Spa-Bereich musste mit Badebekleidung genutzt werden. Es gab nur WELLNESS-Duschen mit EINER voreingestellten Wassertemperatur. Nur hat kein Gast vor Benutzung des Pools oder des Whirlpools im Spa geduscht und nach der Sauna war keine richtige kalte Dusche möglich. In der Sauna mit Badesachen zu schwitzen hat wenig Freude gemacht und lauwarm danach zu duschen war nicht wirklich ein Erlebnis. Die Spa-Regeln sollten überdacht werden und wenigstens eine Dusche, wo man die Badebekleidung ablegen kann, würde zur Hygiene beitragen. Das Orientel-Spa Restaurant kocht für Europäer in den Gewürzen magenfreundlich angepasste schmackhafte Küche. Die Küche beim Italiener fanden wir stets hervorragend. Beim Spanier waren wir nur einmal, da das Essen fade war und dazu noch die Bedienung mit Wartezeiten verbunden. Das Frühstücks-Buffet ist täglich frisch und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Lediglich der Kaffee aus den Automaten ist ungenießbar. Wir haben immer beim Kellner Kaffee von der Bar bestellt. Der Garten mit den Palmen, den Vögeln, den Fischen erinnerte uns an Thailand. Fitnesstudio ist modern. Yoga-Kurs-Klass 40€/Stunde.

Beautiful hotel , stunning spa . Main pool very cold advertised as 27 degrees which it definitely wasn’t . Given wrong room on arrival quickly rectified mistake.Restaurants overbooked couldn’t get a table until 9 pm on arrival when we arrived it was half empty , waited over half an hour for a booked table another night the manager blamed reception for overbooking. Would not do half board again . Breakfast excellent. All staff courteous.

ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS, we would go again in a heartbeat! Best hotel for service and facilities. I’d like to see some free exercise yoga pilates classes offered in the Spa rather than paying for them. The treatments are pricey too but rest of Spa was wonderful! Esp the hidden cave hot tub that we found on last day! Such a pleasure to chat to the staff and they were not at all stuffy. As an avid birdwatcher the botanical gardens were to die for! New species at every turn as well as the flowers, plants & bonsai trees - workshop on these bonsai’s & flower arranging were brilliant :-)

Hervorragendes Hotel, wunderschöne Anlage. Unser Zimmer ( Meerblick) war jedoch für Februar zu kalt, da nach Norden ausgerichtet. Der Spa-Bereich ist sehr groß, allerdings schon „old-fashioned… Die Restaurants sind durchschnittlich für ein 5* Haus. Das Frühstück ist ausgezeichnet, besonders im Außen Bereich genossen. Das das Haus zu wenig Parkplätze hat, ist sicher seiner Bauzeit geschuldet. Jedoch wurdef ür uns dieses Problem durch sehr hilfsbereite Doorman aufgefangen.

I stayed at this hotel briefly in January. Some of the customer service skills could be improved in terms of responding to their guests. When I arrived to check in, I showed them my passport as you usually do and they said that they could not find a record of my booking so they asked if I had a hard copy of the hotel confirmation which fortunately I did. The receptionist went into the back room and said they were going to look into it because I did not appear on their register. They said that I could have a cup of coffee on the house and they would come and let me know once they had looked into it. After about an hour as I had not heard anything I went back to the reception and only then did they tell me that they had found my booking and was getting my room ready. Instead of me having to follow it up after approximately one hour I think that they should have let me know and what the error was because I have to say in all my years of hotel bookings it has never happened to me that they have not found a booking that has already been paid for. On one of the days I wanted to use their computer in their Business Centre and it was not working. As it was on a different floor, I phoned reception and asked if somebody could come and look into it for me and they said yes they were going to send somebody up to me. After about 15 minutes as nobody came I then phoned them back again and was then told that the IT gentleman does not work on Sundays so they were going to try and see

Yes it is a very good hotel very friendly staff clean and relaxing. The spar was exceptional. Restaurants looked amazing but didn’t eat at the hotel except for breakfast which was top food. Don’t forget trousers men, I didn’t bring any my guilt. Staff couldn’t have done enough for you. I will be staying again thank you

The hotel spotless and fully staffed . The hotel is beautiful and rooms to a high standard . Had it not been for a huge disappointment of not getting as advertised garden view would rate higher . The junior suite with garden view is a view of the reception canopy and a noisy road . Unhappy was shown another room one floor above same view . After a stale mate had to pay €300 to get a quite acceptable view . This was a lot lot more than if I had booked the Mountain View with Expedia . Felt ripped off and marred my holiday . Had advised Expedia after submitting how was check in. With reception badgering me 3 times to change review and going over same disagreement ( see pic of room with suppose garden view

Fint opphold. Litt problemer med at vi hadde avtalt med housekeeping ar de skulle rengjøre. Vi hadde med vår hund som måtte taes ut for anledningen. Da vi kom tilbake timer senere var rommet fortsatt uvasket. Dette skjedde 2 (av 4) dager.

Staff excellent, pool and gardens also great. It’s a good quality hotel but needs a re-furb, magnolia walls, pictures in room faded, furniture dated, issues with shower. Bed very comfortable, large room. Little soundproofing through inter-connecting doors. Breakfast a bit disappointing - same buffet every day. Poor coffee out of the machines - no excuse for that. Didn’t eat in the restaurants due to pointless dress code.

Klassiskt lyxhotell Mycket bekvämt hotell med sköna sängar och trevlig, serviceminded personal. Även standardrum har gott om förvaringsutrymme och rejält badrum (som dessutom är ordentligt privat, även från rumskompisen). Denna gång hade vi lyxat till det med en juniorsvit och uppskattade det extra utrymmet och soffgruppen. I juniorsviten var ”dressingroom” (med garderober; värdeskåp, och minibar) helt öppet mot badrummet men gick att avskilja mot rummet med (icke-låsbar) skjutdörr = privat men tar litet längre tid att bli klara på morgonen om man delar med god vän som man inte vill vara i badrummet med samtidigt. Mycket bra och snabb, vänlig service. Utmärkt wifi-anslutning i vårt rum. Vacker trädgård; stor pool; fin spa-anläggning (som även den har egen pool) och vi var mycket nöjda med våra behandlingar. Stort, högt värdeskåp på rummet där mycket ryms men det är inte så brett så de flesta laptops torde inte rymmas. Trevlig uteservering med bekväma stolar där frukost (buffé hämtas inne) och lunch (till 16.00 – bordsservering då) kunde intas. Även där utmärkt service; personalen var mån om att flytta parasoller så att man inte fick solen i ögonen mm. Tips: boka rum mot havet. Jättefin utsikt och skugga på balkongen hela dagen (för oss som uppskattar det). Tips 2: om rörelsesvårigheter så kontakta hotellet i förväg. Vår juniorsvit hade låg, mjuk soffgrupp och man fick ta det väldigt försiktigt ur duschen p g a halkrisk (inte så i det standardrum vi hade vid förra besöket)

Även standardrum har gott om förvaringsutrymme och rejält badrum (som dessutom är ordentligt privat, även från rumskompisen). Denna gång hade vi lyxat till det med en juniorsvit och uppskattade det extra utrymmet och soffgruppen. I juniorsviten var ”dressingroom” (med garderober; värdeskåp, och minibar) helt öppet mot badrummet men gick att avskilja mot rummet med (icke-låsbar) skjutdörr = privat men tar litet längre tid att bli klara på morgonen om man delar med god vän som man inte vill vara i badrummet med samtidigt. Mycket bra och snabb, vänlig service. Utmärkt wifi-anslutning i vårt rum. Vacker trädgård; stor pool; fin spa-anläggning (som även den har egen pool) och vi var mycket nöjda med våra behandlingar. Stort, högt värdeskåp på rummet där mycket ryms men det är inte så brett så de flesta laptops torde inte rymmas. Trevlig uteservering med bekväma stolar där frukost (buffé hämtas inne) och lunch (till 16.00 – bordsservering då) kunde intas. Även där utmärkt service; personalen var mån om att flytta parasoller så att man inte fick solen i ögonen mm. Tips: boka rum mot havet. Jättefin utsikt och skugga på balkongen hela dagen (för oss som uppskattar det). Tips 2: om rörelsesvårigheter så kontakta hotellet i förväg. Vår juniorsvit hade låg, mjuk soffgrupp och man fick ta det väldigt försiktigt ur duschen p g a halkrisk (inte så i det standardrum vi hade vid förra besöket)

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel, and it's no wonder it's considered one of the best on the island. The attention to detail was stunning, from the spacious rooms with comfy beds and balconies overlooking the pool, gardens, or Mount Teide, to their amazing jellyfish tank and collection of colourful parrots. The breakfast buffet was extensive, and while dinner offered a delicious a la carte menu with generous portions, vegans/vegetarians might find the options a bit limited after a few days. Their spa facilities were wonderful and thanks to their babysitting service we were able to enjoy a couple of hours in the spa. The staff was very helpful and willing to assist with any requests to ensure we had a relaxing stay.

The hotel spotless and fully staffed . The hotel is beautiful and rooms to a high standard . Had it not been for a huge disappointment of not getting as advertised garden view would rate higher . The junior suite with garden view is a view of the reception canopy and a noisy road . Unhappy was shown another room one floor above same view . After a stale mate had to pay €300 to get a quite acceptable view . This was a lot lot more than if I had booked the Mountain View with Expedia . Felt ripped off and marred my holiday . Had advised Expedia after submitting how was check in. With reception badgering me 3 times to change review and going over same disagreement ( see pic of room with suppose garden view

Big minus is that the bathroom that otherwise is nice has a toilet with a glass door that offers no privacy (open top and bottom). Not very romantic and a big minus for the otherwise beautiful room. Nice walking area with many great restaurants close to the hotel.

Staff excellent, pool and gardens also great. It’s a good quality hotel but needs a re-furb, magnolia walls, pictures in room faded, furniture dated, issues with shower. Bed very comfortable, large room. Little soundproofing through inter-connecting doors. Breakfast a bit disappointing - same buffet every day. Poor coffee out of the machines - no excuse for that. Didn’t eat in the restaurants due to pointless dress code.

Front desk staff is exceptional. They went above and beyond, serving as concierge and answering endless questions from people with joy, care and a friendly attitude. THEY make this hotel great! Otherwise, nice hotel with slightly dated interior (and name). Despite this, the amenities are nice and the spa staff- provided the best massage and facial services I’ve ever received-5 star! Breakfast, although plentiful, was okay, and very crowded. Restaurants n room service menu could use a little work. Overall, this 4 star hotel definitely becomes 5 star because of its incredible staff!!

Beautiful hotel , stunning spa . Main pool very cold advertised as 27 degrees which it definitely wasn’t . Given wrong room on arrival quickly rectified mistake.Restaurants overbooked couldn’t get a table until 9 pm on arrival when we arrived it was half empty , waited over half an hour for a booked table another night the manager blamed reception for overbooking. Would not do half board again . Breakfast excellent. All staff courteous.

My husband and I recently stayed at the Botánico Hotel & The Oriental Spa Garden and had the most amazing experience. We stayed for 5 nights and the staff were absolutely amazing the entire time. When we arrived, the front desk staff were very helpful and Antonio (I believe was his name) showed us to our room. Once in the room, he explained several things about the room which was a great way to familiarize ourselves with the space we would call home for the next few days. The front desk staff were extremely friendly and professional our entire stay. We were able to call and easily get an iron, taxi etc. The attention to detail in the room was superb. We especially enjoyed the pillow menu options and turn down service. The breakfast was outstanding and a lovely way to start the day. We utilized the spa area with a couples massage and played tennis. I love fresh flowers and the fresh rose in the bathroom was a wonderful touch. We dined at The Oriental and II Pappagallo which were both delicious. The live music each night was a fun treat for a wind down at the end of the evening. Hotel Botanico is a true Luxury Hotel and I thank the entire staff for making our trip to Tenerife so wonderful.

The Hotel its self was amazing. Our room was very lovely and the cleaning of the room was great. There was only 2 things that let it down, the Mediterranean restaurant and the bar. The service in the Mediterranean restaurant was not what I would expect from a 5 star hotel. The bar we had to wait 40 minutes for a drink. On the other hand the service we received from the Italian restaurant was fantastic, you would of thought you were in a different hotel. This doesn't take it away that the hotel is fantastic and looking forward to return in the future.

I stayed at this hotel briefly in January. Some of the customer service skills could be improved in terms of responding to their guests. When I arrived to check in, I showed them my passport as you usually do and they said that they could not find a record of my booking so they asked if I had a hard copy of the hotel confirmation which fortunately I did. The receptionist went into the back room and said they were going to look into it because I did not appear on their register. They said that I could have a cup of coffee on the house and they would come and let me know once they had looked into it. After about an hour as I had not heard anything I went back to the reception and only then did they tell me that they had found my booking and was getting my room ready. Instead of me having to follow it up after approximately one hour I think that they should have let me know and what the error was because I have to say in all my years of hotel bookings it has never happened to me that they have not found a booking that has already been paid for. On one of the days I wanted to use their computer in their Business Centre and it was not working. As it was on a different floor, I phoned reception and asked if somebody could come and look into it for me and they said yes they were going to send somebody up to me. After about 15 minutes as nobody came I then phoned them back again and was then told that the IT gentleman does not work on Sundays so they were going to try and see

Botanico is a beautiful and unique hotel with everything you need for a superior quality holiday. The facilities and food were elite. However, the customer service could do with being taken up a notch. Service at breakfast and room service was slow (we waited nearly 2 hours for our food to arrive), you got a different answer depending on who you ask, I had to come back down after check in because my passport wasn't scanned properly, we were locked out because a mistake was made with our check out date, cleaners were constantly coming in and out, instead of doing everything in the day and I didn't get a sense of urgency around lost property. That said, we were there for Christmas and NY, so I know places are short staffed or have temps come in so I'd happily go back and recommend Botanico. It really is an elevated hotel experience.

Wonderful hotel set in nice surroundings and a short walk from puerto de la cruz. Staff were all friendly and helpful, the a la carte restaurants all tasty and the rooms nicely decorated. Highly recommend hotel botanico for a luxury stay in tenerife.

Das Orientel-Spa Restaurant kocht für Europäer in den Gewürzen magenfreundlich angepasste schmackhafte Küche. Die Küche beim Italiener fanden wir stets hervorragend. Beim Spanier waren wir nur einmal, da das Essen fade war und dazu noch die Bedienung mit Wartezeiten verbunden. Das Frühstücks-Buffet ist täglich frisch und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Lediglich der Kaffee aus den Automaten ist ungenießbar. Wir haben immer beim Kellner Kaffee von der Bar bestellt. Der Garten mit den Palmen, den Vögeln, den Fischen erinnerte uns an Thailand. Fitnesstudio ist modern. Yoga-Kurs-Klass 40€/Stunde.

Front desk staff is exceptional. They went above and beyond, serving as concierge and answering endless questions from people with joy, care and a friendly attitude. THEY make this hotel great! Otherwise, nice hotel with slightly dated interior (and name). Despite this, the amenities are nice and the spa staff- provided the best massage and facial services I’ve ever received-5 star! Breakfast, although plentiful, was okay, and very crowded. Restaurants n room service menu could use a little work. Overall, this 4 star hotel definitely becomes 5 star because of its incredible staff!!

Beautiful hotel , stunning spa . Main pool very cold advertised as 27 degrees which it definitely wasn’t . Given wrong room on arrival quickly rectified mistake.Restaurants overbooked couldn’t get a table until 9 pm on arrival when we arrived it was half empty , waited over half an hour for a booked table another night the manager blamed reception for overbooking. Would not do half board again . Breakfast excellent. All staff courteous.

Hotel is top quality and the staff especially are very nice. Rooms are very clean and general service is very good too. The hotel has some nice classic furniture, giving it a unique look and feel. The only small downside is the food in the restaurants was expensive and nothing special. Breakfast however was top notch and included.

The Hotel its self was amazing. Our room was very lovely and the cleaning of the room was great. There was only 2 things that let it down, the Mediterranean restaurant and the bar. The service in the Mediterranean restaurant was not what I would expect from a 5 star hotel. The bar we had to wait 40 minutes for a drink. On the other hand the service we received from the Italian restaurant was fantastic, you would of thought you were in a different hotel. This doesn't take it away that the hotel is fantastic and looking forward to return in the future.

Hotel was beautiful. Excellent facilities and staff were great. Breakfast was superb, plenty of choice but we did have a disappointing [and expensive] meal in La Parilla restaurant. The quality was nowhere near that which would be expected of a 5 star hotel.

Zimmer, Personal und Anlage waren perfekt. Lediglich beim ebenfalls sehr guten Frühstück würde ich bemängeln, dass die warmen Speisen wie Rühreier,Tomaten oder Bratkartoffeln nur lauwarm waren.

A fantastic hotel, aimed very much at adults. Fabulous spa facilities included and many additional treatments available to purchase All members of staff were incredibly attentive and always happy to help Drinks were pricey (eg €8 for a beer) but there are several local bars nearby

The hotel is really good! Breakfast is awesome. The dinner restaurants serve good food, but they could offer a wider variety of dishes. The rooms and all the facilities are super clean! It’s a large hotel, yet it still feels cozy and welcoming. The spacious facilities were excellent, and the property is within walking distance of the shopping area, great restaurants, and the botanical garden. The staff were truly outstanding and made the stay even better.
