On arriving, the reception staff were not particularly welcoming - and seemed very rushed. They gave me a site map and scribbled on directions to my room - which were in fact totally wrong, and sent me walking for 20 minutes to find my room. The whole site is very complex and is a maze of buildings and rooms with a bizarre numbering system. I was on second floor, no lift which isn't ideal with suitcases. The room itself was clean, but dated and a bit tired. The shower was useless and A/C was just about enough. There was no shower gel, and a family of ants in the bathroom - but when I told reception, they were extremely prompt in dealing with it. The pool looked nice enough - although I didn't use it. The breakfast was very good. The hotel was okay....I wouldn't stay here again, as there's better around. But it was fine, and if you go prepared you wouldn't be disappointed. Staff were generally a bit sombre and unfriendly, and seemed to forget people are on holiday for fun - however, the staff are very efficient.

I stayed July 31-Aug 1. The experience was disappointing. Room #351 had a dirty wet cloth in bathroom on arrival, and the room phone didn't work, forcing repeated trips to reception. The main issue was non-functioning AC, reported over three shifts with no resolution or accountability, leaving the room uncomfortably hot for two nights. I have two AC units myself. This was NOT AC… Staff responses were dismissive and untracked. Breakfast was average and the pool overcrowded. The resort feels dated. On the positive side, free parking is convenient and saves €12. Overall, basic maintenance and customer care were lacking.

We had mixed feelings about our stay. The hotel feels more like a holiday apartment resort than a modern hotel, and our first room was disappointing. However, the manager and reception staff handled our concerns professionally and moved us to a much better room, which made a big difference. The breakfast and food were excellent, there were always plenty of sunbeds available, and the atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. The location is also convenient, with a pleasant walk to Puerto Banús. If you are looking for a peaceful resort with good food and a relaxed atmosphere, this is a good choice. However, if you expect a modern 4-star hotel, you may be disappointed.

Beautiful to look at. WiFi was hit and miss. Staff were either cheerful or rude and unhelpful- nothing in the middle. Clean room, attention to detail could be improved - door to balcony was broken and aircon was not able to be adjusted. Food was amazing though. Really brilliant breakfast and their evening buffet was reasonable and enjoyable. Good wine too.
