Had a wonderful stay at this beautiful, unique hotel. The staff were very friendly, the breakfast was good and the jacuzzi with rooftop views of the cathedral was exceptional and a lovely temperature in the February sun. Would definitely return if we come back to Seville (and definitely hope to do so). Location is fantastic and rooms nice and quiet for sleeping!

We enjoyed our stay as a couple in the El Rey Moro Hotel Boutique, Sevilla, España, during September 2025. We found the placement of the hotel in the heart of the historical district of Sevilla to be convenient. All of the major sites in the historical district were accessible by foot from the El Rey Moro Hotel. The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. The hotel offered several attractive benefits for clients, to include a two-hour interval every afternoon during which coffee and Andalusian sweets were available at no cost. The decor of our room was satisfactory. A spacious room safe was available for our use. We enjoyed the whimsical color choices in the porcelain-tiled bathroom. Access to our top-floor room was available by staircase or elevator. Future guests should be aware that they will not be able to travel door-to-door by car or taxi from the local train station or airport directly to the El Rey Moro Hotel. The medieval passageways in the historical district preclude access by motor vehicle. However, the most frequently used drop-off site by local taxi should be Plaza de Santa Cruz, which affords a short, 5-minute walk to the front door of the hotel at Calle Reinoso, 8 (use Google Maps for direction, as signs are lacking). Curiously, the hotel made little use of its open-air internal courtyard, except for breakfast service. This area could be re-decorated and enlivened with fresh greenery to become more inviting for guests.

Really cool hotel, and a very cool area. A little difficult to get to because you cannot drive up to the hotel. It is in the old section of Seville, which gives it its uniqueness. And where you have breakfast every day is awesome. The service was very good and very accommodating. We definitely enjoyed our stay at this hotel and if we come back to Seville, I would go there again

A beautiful hotel with tapas bar. Perfect location just a few strides down Alcazar and cathedral and many lively tapas bars and restaurants very close. We were so happy we chose it. Our room was quite small but only overnight for us so no problem, big comfortable bed, big bathroom. Kettle in room. Table and chairs outside our room overlooking the courtyard. Lovely toiletries. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. The hotel offers a free drink each day 5-7 pm, free use of rooftop jacuzzi and free bicycle hire! We had a dog so could not cycle but it's a great way to see the city with dedicated cycle/scooter lanes everywhere. We adored Seville and would def stay at this hotel again.

This boutique hotel was very beautiful with lots of color, antique furniture, and flowers. It was nice to have the option to sit outside the room and relax. The only issue is it can be noisy in the morning with the breakfast service.

This property is in the old Jewish neighborhood. The winding, narrow streets are charming and magical. The hotel is beautiful, nothing overly fancy but well appointed with anything you would need. We were there during Féria and the hotel was quiet and peaceful at all times of the day or night Yet just outside the streets were bustling. I feel so lucky to have found this hotel and that we were able to see the spectacular Féria. Truly a magical experience! The staff was helpful and accommodating. Afternoon coffee/tea and sweets. Just adorable.

The best hotel experience I’ve had in many years. The staff was very friendly, the hotel was clean and absolutely beautiful. The location is right in the middle of the historic district. I could not have stayed at a better hotel. I highly recommend this property and will stay again when I return to Sevilla.

Amazing stay at El Rey Moro! Everything was kept meticulously clean which I loved and the staff were most helpful to my every need. Room AC was nice and cold which was great in the heat and the area in Sevilla couldn’t be beat! I plan on returning to this property with my mom, she will love it!

Excellent location, which is prime reason for choosing a hotel. Very cute with great breakfast and super staff. Note, this is a 3 star hotel. Everything was scuffed. The courtyard was always flooded (from watering the plants?). Stuffed animals all over for decorations. Sounds like a negative review but I liked it and would recommend, as long as you are open minded. We liked it.

This hotel was great, I liked that it was in the center of all action, stores, shopping, food, restaurants, bars, etc. Aleo, it was close to the cathedral and other sites. The hotel staff was friendly and welcoming. The room was nice and the bed was super comfortable and the room was very clean.

Absolutely loved this hotel. The rooms were huge, clean, and we loved the decor! It was by far the best bedroom and bathroom setup we'd encountered in Spain. The staff was wonderful and so friendly and helpful. While we loved much about this place, perhaps the best part was the amenities offered. There was water in the room and available in the lobby, free drinks, etc - it made for an incredible experience. The location and hotel aesthetics were also unbeatable. I would recommend this to anyone going to Sevilla and can't wait to go back!

While the property is pleasent with a beautiful patio, it gave the look of an aged and average place. Housekeeping and staff were excellent but the property needs serious renovation. Doors were squeaky and furniture quite old. Overall not worth the nightly price of about $300/night without breakfast

We absolutely loved this place. Our room was in the first floor and the view to the Andalusia garden every time we open the door was magnificent. Everyone was super helpful, especially Pablo and Estrella. Alba was sweet too

Alte Zimmer und abgewetzte, teilweise kaputte Einrichtung. Kein Kaffee oder Tee im Zimmer. Wifi funktioniert nicht. Mit viel Goodwill auf 3-Stern Niveau. Viel zu teuer für was es bietet.

This hotel is so cute! It’s boutique, so fewer rooms. It has inner courtyard with a fountain that floors open onto. The rooms are individually decorated and the bathrooms were a surprise - very up to date with separate toilet room, rain shower head, and double sinks. I can’t say enough about the friendly accommodating staff!! There’s a small restaurant on site and you can order drinks and nibbles to be served in the courtyard.

Great stay at el Rey! Staff were friendly and had great recommendations! Such a nice treat having complimentary coffee and sweets at 5! Beds and pillows were a bit hard and you could hear everything happening outside in the morning. Great location. Close to everything (about 10-20 min walk) beautiful and clean space.

Evrtything abt the hotel was fabulous. The room. The staff. Everything. Staff allowed me to have a later check out at 230pm at another room. So nice of them. They are also polite and made sure we are comfortable.

This place is quaint and perfectly located. But the best thing about it is the staff. A few days ago my 18 year old daughter became ill. Each day the staff would inquire about how she was doing. Finally, they offered to have a doctor come to the hotel and see her. They called a doctor, had him come to our room, and then helped me figure out how to get her medications. They also made sure my daughter had the food she needed as we were checking out the next day. Above and beyond!

The Front/ Reception staff was exceptional. I was dealing with two gentlemens who took care of all my needs in the most professional way. Any concerns or questions have been immediately addressed and solved or answered. The property is very well maintained and has an incredible aura to it. The location is perfect and allowed me to tour the old town by only walking around. Restaurants and souvenir shops everywhere in between this incredible architecture. I can only recommend it.

Wow! My husband and I came here for a brief birthday trip and it was so magical. Gorgeous property, gorgeous room, could not be better located. And the staff is so friendly! Especially Pablo, he was so quick to offer recommendations and seemed truly invested in us having the best time! He went above and beyond to make sure of it. He was even patient and helpful as I practiced my terrible Spanish, as was everyone on staff. Really special stay, right in the heart of it all. Felt very authentic, and spacious rooms!

The hotel is located in a perfect location! Surrounded by stores and a lot of tapas restaurants! Super close to popular sites (all walkable.) Staff are super friendly and accommodating. Upkeep of hotel is very good- eco friendly. Will definitely stay here again if I am lucky enough to visit Sevilla again ❤️

The hotel is in a fabulous location within the charming Santa Cruz area and walking distance of the cathedral. It has all the amenities we wanted and needed. The bedroom, reception, bar, restaurant, breakfast area were absolutely great and wonderfully decorated. The staff were helpful, friendly and seemed to care about their job and our happiness.

This hotel in the old town of Seville was in walkable distance to all the main attractions & restaurants. It’s a very old building & each room is decorated differently. There is a large, pretty, covered courtyard area, surrounded by overhanging pots of flowers. The staff are all very helpful. This is not an ultra modern hotel, but a pretty, quirky & very good one & I can recommend it!

This hotel is in a terrific location. The staff is very friendly, courteous and professional; each concierge was most helpful. The breakfasts are excellent on a terrace that is straight out of a picturesque documentary. The restaurant staff makes you feel most comfortable. The rooms are clean. I would stay here if/when I return to Seville.

Very disappointing for the price. Can't believe breakfast wasn't included. No reading lamp next to the bed. No towel for the bidet. NO HOT WATER Saturday morning & no compensation. Pillows were too big for the cases & thus hard. Crappy restaurant - worst paella ever. But good location.
