The hotel was very clean and comfortable, the bathroom in the hotel room was really clean and the water was hot right away. The bed was very comfortable! The hotel breakfast was nice, and the coffee was pretty good. The fitness room was also small but really nice! There wasn't a lot of shopping or other buildings in a walkable distance from the hotel, but I personally preferred that since it made the hotel nice and quiet. Would definitely recommend!

I stayed with my son while visiting Busch Gardens, which is only about 15 minutes away. The hotel even offers a free shuttle service on the hour, which is super convenient if you want to avoid moving your car or paying for parking. Uber rides are also inexpensive—just around $10–$12. The location is quiet, safe, and close to everything you might need—convenience stores, food spots, and a gas station are all nearby. The hotel itself is clean and well-kept. Our room was spacious and very comfortable, with all the essentials provided. The staff is incredibly friendly, attentive, and always available to help. They really go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. Amenities include a nice gym, a pool, and a decent, complete breakfast that’s included in your stay. There’s also always coffee and tea available at the front desk, which is a nice touch. Overall, this hotel offers great value and comfort. I’ll definitely keep coming back whenever I visit the area. One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. Very friendly and helpful staff. The facility seems to have been recently renovated. The smell of the interior was very fresh, the wall paper and paint looked fresh, and the carpets also looked like they were recently replaced. Small gym but very nice. All in all I would definately stay here again if I was in this area or nearby.

Other than the construction going on, our stay at Hampton Inn Tampa North was easy and comfortable. We were on the third floor so we got more construction noise than most and we were working in the room so it was definitely distracting but I understand there wasn't much to be done. Everything was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was great.

This was a very nice hotel and in an area where we felt safe. The shuttle to nearby locations and attractions was very convenient. We loved the complementary breakfast - delicious full breakfast with many options, as well as the coffee and tea available in the lobby area. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. The hotel was nice. The only thing that was not good was the bed. It was like sleeping on a cement block. For someone who has neck and shoulder problems it was very uncomfortable. Other than that it was nice. The staff (Stephen) at check in was very friendly and helpful. The place was very clean which is great. Liked the shuttle service to Busch Gardens! Staff was always very accommodating. Bed was a bit too firm for my liking, but my main issue was the very flat pillows. Other than that, we would definitely return. The location is quiet and feels safe, yet close to many things you want.

The hotel was what we expected. The only real complaint is the bed was as hard as a rock and the pillows were all flat. Neither my husband nor I got a good nights sleep all 3 nights. The breakfast staff was wonderful however but the check in staff really should make people feel more welcome.

My stay at the Hampton Inn & Suites Tampa North was okay. The check in process was great & the staff were awesome. We had to be moved from our original room due to the AC not working & there was a strong odor but once in the second room, everything was fine. My only complaint is the beds were very uncomfortable & 1 of the electrical sockets didn't work properly. I wish there was a little more lighting to be able to see.

I booked 2 rooms and asked for adjoining or next to each other. Emailed with customer service who told me they are across the hall. They were blocked and he would put a note on them. Upon arrival we were told we are not by each other but close. That was not the case, we were 10 rooms away at opposite ends of the hall way.

Rooms on the front side are not so quiet. Traffic noise throughout the night. Breakfast was rather pedestrian. Fake potatoes? That’s what they tasted like. Tasteless mush. OJ was so bad I only had one sip. For goodness sakes this is Florida. Get some decent orange juice. Front desk was very nice and professional both at check-in and check-out.
