VIP Grand Lisboa Hotel & Spa

Gym was good. Breakfast excellent. I booked for the spa, but none of the hydro spa equipment were working.

Air Conditioning was an issue in all the rooms we were in. They are not used to heat qpparently but I have no idea why they do not install ceiling fans in every room. Also the parking lot is very tight so if you have a larger vehicle you may find it difficult to enter and exit. Staff was outstanging!

Nous avons apprécié notre séjour dans l’ensemble. Cependant nous avons été déçus des équipements de l’hôtel tel que l’ascenseur qui était le seul à fonctionner pour tout l’hôtel et pour desservir 14 étages. Également très peu de lumière et de prises dans les chambres. Le personnel a été à l’écoute et agréable. La piscine a aussi été un gros atout à notre séjour. L’emplacement de l’hôtel est bien avec les bus et le métro à proximité.

Large room, comfortable bed. Had to leave air con on for a prolonged period to feel cool. Room is on flight path, ok when landing but very loud if take off. Confusion at check in about who was in each room so city taxes charged incorrectly and not enough towels etc. The reason we booked the hotel was for the roof top pool. No correspondence to war us pool would be closed the entire time we were there. When we checked in, we were offered the use of nearby hotel's pool. Inconvenient as had to cross roads to get there, it was small and overlooked. Practice fire alarm was advertised to go off at 10am on the Thursday. Left early to avoid. Returned at 11.30 it was still going off. Apparently delayed due to breakfast but we were not told that. My friend tried to leave to join me but colleagues told him he had to stay in the room? They had blocked his way out of the room as they were practicing how to stop smoke going into the room. The Lifts were not working for at least 4 hours. We were on the 8th floor so a lot of walking up and down stairs. Emergency exit stairwell is all black marble, no proper lighting and my friend who is tall had to stoop to go up and down. If you get room service it's just easiest to just pay when they arrive with a card reader. Unable to take payment from the card registered to the room, even when requested they held €100 on it to take payment from it. Struggled to then refund the difference at check out.

I misspoke on my last review the air conditioning was very good, however ceiling fans are a no brainer in hot conditions, welcome to Texas. I was 100% accurate on the parking garage, very tight, difficult with larger vehicles and the columns are very dangerous. Staff was outstanding.!

the swimming pool was closed because of repairs, but no work was carried out therefore it wont be ready until 2026. the air in the hotel lobby smells of rotten feet, because there is no air ionsers or ventilators. they had to keep the emergency exit doors by the stairs open at all times, and that causes an alarm to be heard all the time. there is no signs for toilets for example. one of the 2 lifts was broken and still not fixed when i left five days later.

Un peu déçu pour un 5 étoile, spa hors d usage en plein mois d août pendant un séjour de 4 jours. Pas de facilité pour avoir des glaçons. Ascenseur en panne au 7eme étages. Piscine extérieure belle mais pas chauffées. On demande une facture pour le séjour et ils sont en panne. pourrais mieux faire car l établissement est bien agencé et bien placé dans Lisbonne. Près du métro

Grand hotel avec acces spa hamam tres sympa Tres bon petit dej varié Piscine decevante et les avions passent toutes les 2 minutes ce qui gache la detente Mobilier des chambres vetuste et beaucoup de traces, on voit qu' il a vecu, literie manque de confort, pas de surmatelas Un nettoyage des vitres serait utile Parking tres pratique dans l' hotel pour 12€ A 100m de campo pequeno, des bons restos à proximite( Lucimar Gemini) et dans l' hotel Cenario Les differents quartiers animés de Lisbonne sont en moyenne à 10 minutes en voiture

Beautiful cleaning hotel

Die Personal war anständig und hilfsbereit.Mein Anliegen war das verschmutzte Fenster,dass den schönen Aussicht verdeckt hat und dies wurde am nächsten Morgen erledigt.Danke dafür.Ich komme das mit Sicherheit noch mal.

Hôtel vieillissant, non réévalué pas digne d un 5 étoiles- pas de service de sécurité : présence de personnes extérieures à l hôtel dans la piscine qui mangent, s installent sans gêne sur les matelas ou lit, prenant l’espace aux clients de l hôtel. L alerte a été donnée à plusieurs reprises à la réception sans aucune action. Piscine surpeuplée et sale ( on ne voyait pas nos pieds dans l eau) aussi sans serviette disponible.

All the staff were super helpful. The pool is a little tricky to find but was good with lots of clean towels provided. The room was clean and spacious with plenty of storage. I also ate in the restaurant and they were very helpful and provided gluten free bread for me. Location is also a few minutes from the metro so easy to get around.

Wir kamen an, Rezeption sehr freundlich, gesamt Personal Freundlich. Frühstück: gab alles und sehr viel Obst, jedoch keine Kaffeemaschine. Bei einem 5 Sterne hotel erwarten man Kaffee aus der Maschine! Klar wenn man fragt bekommt man einen Cappucino. Im Zimmer fanden wir dann neben dem Bett Haare und Papierzettel. Zimmer gross genug, betten angenehm, man hört den Fluglärm, aber auf das muss man gefasst sein wenn man ein Hotel nähe Airport hört. Wir waren nur einen Nacht im Vip Grand.

Das Hotelzimmer war nicht sauber, Schimmel im Bad. Fön unbenzubar, da total verklebt.

Excelente cama , buena limpieza, baño y aire en buenas condiciones y funcionando todo muy bien, céntrico con fácil acceso a cualquier lugar

This didn't seem like a 5-star property by any mean. We stayed at a few 4-star and 5-star properties on this trip over the last few days and this was not even a 4-star experience. The room wasn't clean, the sink was dirty. Toilet wouldn't flush and even the tub had water standing still during and after a shower. Someone came in an looked at it after we complained but the problem was not resolved. We weren't even offered another room.

I liked the property and the area, it was easy to walk around and find things to do. What I didn't like so much were the bathroom vanity- it was akward to use, it was too high. 2nd thing, although the space was so big, the work desk was tiny. I didn't have enough space to setup my workstation. Lots of wasted space.

El hotel necesita una remodelacion. Los muebles de la habitación parecen de los 80. Viejo, oscuro y la atencion al cliente es bastante basica. El desayuno estaba ok. No volveria a este hotel.

This property is good overall - stayed here twice in the space of a month so reviewing two different rooms. Nice lounge area however their service is not five star nor are the hotel amenities. It would pass off as a 4 star hotel. Otherwise it is a nice hotel overall - room has no utilities apart from a empty mini fridge; bathroom has some technical issues and not easy to use facilities as such - like no soap dish, water pressure really high - sprays everywhere, no proper slippers - they are made out of paper, bathrobes are only in size x small and the rooms definitely need a refurb. They do not have a variety of foods to order from for room service and when asked if they could bring some cutlery to the room they said it costs €5 charge! This is not a 5 star service.

The aircondition wasn't working and the staff didnot want to bother and change the room .

The staff were very accommodating flexible and friendly, they are a credit to the hotel

Walkable, convenient to restaurants, check-in process pleasant and welcoming

Before I start my complaint, I will start with the positives. Nice shower and a free bottle of water in the room. There are not many more positives about this hotel. Its very far from the city. Metro needed, and this involves a lot of walking to and from and changing lines. We booked this hotel because it had a Spa. We were not informed beforehand that the spa was closed. We realised this when we got to check in. We made our disappointment known once via email and tried to contact the manager. He was not available so we asked to be contacted by him twice. This did not happen. In Ireland, if this happened, we would be offered a complimentary drink at the least. We didn't even get an apology and as this was the only reason we chose the hotel, feel very undervalued as customers who spent a lot of money on a 3 night stay. The staff were not helpful or friendly and we wouldn't stay again. Nothing special about VIP Grand Lisboa and very disappointed customers. Stay in the city, its much better. And it's too late now for an apology.

Trevlig personal både i reception och i frukostmat! Välkomnande och service-inriktade på ett mycket bra men lagom sätt. Fick specialgjort citron-té när jag frågade efter det. Tack igen! Uppskattar även en att städning inte är nödvändig varje dag o att kunna använda skylten för detta.

Staff very friendly and helpful. The room was adequate for our short stay. We were able to easily walk to restaurants and shopping to pass the time.

Fijn hotel dichtbij een winkelcentrum en openbaar vervoer om naar andere wijken van Lissabon te gaan. In de buurt zijn voldoende restaurants. Het ontbijt is fantastisch!

Slidt hotel med interiør der i den grad trænger til udskiftning. Rengøring virker overfladisk og der er langt for at leve op til et 5-stjernet hotel. Det bedste er lydisoleringen af værelserne, hvilket også er nødvendigt med fly lige over hotellet

It’s a nice hotel with friendly staff and a great breakfast. The hotel is close to a metro station and there are some cafes and supermarkets around. For a few nights in Lisbon it’s a great choice.

Convenient for comuting to convention center

Väldigt nära Metro, buss och tåg till centrala Lissabon. Bra med restauranger och affärer i närheten. Frukosten var exceptionell och personalen var alltid trevliga. Jag är nöjd med vistelsen och rekommenderar verkligen detta hotell. Proffsig personal!

Es gab jeden morgen ein super Frühstück. Ein kleiner Tipp für alle die dort auch frühstücken. Im büffet gibt es nur Rührei und kaffee als Standard. Man kann sich aber jederzeit bei den nettem Service Personal Cappuccino o. Espresso und Omlette bestellen. Das Zimmer war auch sehr sauber und gut klimatisiert. Es gab ein zwei kleine kaputte ecken im bad aber das hat uns persönlich nicht groß gestört.

O pequeno almoço é o caos, servido em ambiente pequeno para a demanda, tudo muito sujo, desorganizado, funcionários desatentos e pouco atenciosos, especialmente ríspidos na chegada ao salão. Nenhum profissionalismo. Há variedade, mas a forma como tudo é servido é nojenta. As garrafas de café então, são mesmo um nojo completo. As tampas de esgoto na casa de banho são sujas e nojentas. O duche, enjambrado numa banheira enjambrada e sem resguardo é horrível.

L'établissement est propre, le personnel est plus que serviable. Nos desserts nous ont été montés en chambre pour nous faciliter. Le petit-déjeuner buffet est proposé avec énormément de choix et il est très varié, puis change chaque jour. Les femmes de chambre sont trés douce et polie. Je recommande !!
