Check in was great. Room great. Pool problematic - dirty it needs to be vacuumed badly and the water was freezing cold it was more like a cold plunge. Whirlpool was also inder construction.

Property was just average, but for the price it was not worth it. The first room Was not clean, had hair in several locations and had wallpaper peeling. The second room wasn’t much better. The pool was out of order. The room rates were very high due to a sports game.

I honestly was disappointed by many things at this property. 1. No airport pickup as advertised on the website. 2. No free breakfast as advertised. 3. Free water is limited. We need to buy after that. However, there is a gym where we can refill it. 4. The shampoo and liquid soap bottles were empty. I informed the helpdesk and they assured it will be filled out, however, no action was taken. Pros: 1. Clean and spacious room 2. Nice location

The hotel was dirty in general. The hot tub was closed a couple months ago and that was the main reason we wanted to stay here. The pool was disgusting, cloudy and severely polluted with hair and debris. The bathrooms are outdated. Overall we were disappointed.

My stay at doubletree was good i love the service and hospitality clean room the only thing i didnt enjoy was there was no hot tub as the photos indicated but overall i had a good day

Warm cookie on check in is a nice touch! Staff lovely. Room clean, nice wardrobe with iron, bed very comfortable! Pool water was a bit cloudy which made me uncomfortable but otherwise great hotel.

It wasn’t the absolute cleanest or most kept up with hotel that I’ve stayed in but it definitely wasn’t the worst. It could use some maintenance and upgrades for sure. A few people in our group didn’t have working sinks, no cold water only scalding hot, and the ac/heating only blowing on ac or only blowing super hot. The employees were nice and very friendly. Oh and there is no hot tub/whirlpool even though they advertise they have one. Other than that the stay in general was okay. We didn’t feel unsafe in the area.

Only complaint I have was that the pool was freezing. I felt bad for my son who cried cause he wanted to swim but he couldn’t take how cold it was. I called front desk regarding pool temperature on both days but it really wasn’t a concern or addressed.

The hotel rooms were in rough shape. There was mold on the fan and some in the shower. The floor in my room looked like it was ripped up and raised up because someone had spilled water. That was so soft. It did hurt my back. One employee at the front desk was very nice. She was lovely. Everyone else was nasty. They were short they ignored us and they really did not seem happy to be there.

The tile in the bathroom was falling off behind the toilet. The sheets had marks on them. The receiver for the tv wasn’t plugged in and i had no idea what to plug it into. No trash can in the room, just a tiny one in the bathroom. For the amount of money people make in hotels they can do better!

Stayed here August 2023 and I loved it. Very clean and well maintained. They also offered a free shuttle which I used in the evening to go out for dinner. Went back March 2024 and there was a noticeable difference in the cleanliness of the room and overall hotel. Microwave in the room was dirty, stained towel, dusty room and the TV had no satellite the 1st night there. They fixed the TV the 2nd night. They also no longer offered the shuttle. I won’t go back.

The room was not clean, toilet paper wasn’t filled, the toilet was clogged…overall there was a lack of care taken. Super disappointed for the cost of the room. Was also told that there were renovations going on above us. So we had to listen to that noise in the am too.

So the front desk first of all, I guess they have it hidden somewhere that you get charged $75 a night just in case something happens to the room so you will end up paying over 150 dollars in incidentals . It’s better than the other two hotels that are on top of each other and they share one parking lot so there’s not enough parking for all three places .there was a foul smell by the pool area . you could hear a pin drop in the next room so that was a problem trying to sleep. The bathroom was clean, but it’s a stall shower and a toilet so you can hardly get out of the shower because the toilet is right on top of it. It’s a weird design because then they have the sink outside ,so is it worth all that money not really is it decent to stay a night maybe two I guess

I will not go this property again because coffee maker machine was horrible. Room cleaner never clean this machine. I saw that fungus on it. Inside machine lot of fungus. Room size was small. Toilet was small. Hotel prize was expensive. It shows that 4 ( four) star. But actually it will be 2 (two) star. According to the room prize there was no morning breakfast. Please don’t try to go this hotel. Try to go Marriot hotel. Cheaper then the double tree by Hilton hotel.

Place needs a bit of work. Bathroom is cramped and ignored by maintenance. Air conditioner was so loud and vibrated the floor which transferred into the bed. Walls and baseboards are in need of repair. Bed was comfortable which was most important for a nights stay. Walls are thin and you can hear the other guests as well as the hallway noises, ice maker and elevator doors. Should have been better for the amount of money spent for one nights stay.

I stayed at this hotel for one night. The front desk staff were friendly and efficient—and the cookies were a nice touch! Unfortunately, the property itself is showing its age. The bathroom was very small, the toilet didn’t flush efficiently, though the shower did have plenty of hot water. The wallpaper had visible wear, with some areas peeling away from the wall, and the door required a firm push to close completely. Around midnight, when I was trying to sleep, there was noticeable noise from the back parking lot that sounded like people chatting or having a small party. On the positive side, the bed was comfortable, which made for a decent night’s rest overall.

Took me a half hour to check in despite being 2nd in line. The first room I was given smelled like a break room for the cigarette smokers in the hotel, my family waited in the hallway and I went back to wait in line, they gave me another room but only after my wife had to bring down the other room card.?? The 2nd room had both barrels filled with trash and a television that didnt work 60% of the weekend. When i contacted the front desk I was told "I am the only person in the hotel". The service at the bar was great Thursday and comical Friday and Saturday, bartender would literally disappear with a female companion in the kitchen for 20+ minutes at a time. Nice guy, terrible bartender. The red roof in next door looks like a shelter with groups of people hanging outside 24hrs a day. I will say the proptery has plenty of free parking and is right off the highway. Also when inquiring about a potential 4th night more than one of us was told they had no rooms despite every app possible showing they had plentiful options. Didnt see a manager to even talk to in the 3 night stay. I will definitely try my luck somewhere else next year.

Worst Hilton hotel we have ever stayed in . We were there for the 4th of July long weekend with the family for 2 nights . Both of our rooms were dirty . We called the front desk 3times to request room service. No one showed up . Then I went to the front desk to request for the room service still no one came .we were traveling with a sick 6month old baby . All we wanted was a clean room and a clean bathroom. Room floor was very sticky and dirty . I will never stay here again.

I am very disappointed in my recent trip that I planned for my girlfriend's birthday. First off, there was no cookie ready when we checked into the hotel. The receptionist told us that she burnt the batch. We proceeded to wait in the lobby for over an hour and she never informed us when the cookies were done. We went up twice and asked and she said they weren't done. Finally, an hour later we saw her give the cookies to someone else. It was ridiculous that she did not tell us that they were done when she knew we were waiting. This is one of your promotions that you advertise so you would think the staff would make sure they have everything in order. This was not the level of service I was expecting from this caliber of a hotel. How rude to leave someone waiting especially when we were celebrating. Also, the coffee room was disgusting with the plates from breakfast still sitting on the counter past 3:00. We didn't even want to enjoy our coffee in the room and proceeded to drink it in the lobby instead. Definitely not what I expected from a 3+ star hotel, especially for a birthday trip. What a letdown that ruined out entire birthday celebration. I was expecting much better. I always remember Doubletrees being so much classier in the past. Staff seemed frazzled and were a little rude at check in; Many people waiting for rooms to be cleaned after the 3 pm Check in time; we requested an extra towel and were told a washing machine was broken so they would bring it later, never received the towel- the room floor was “sticky” so we just used kept our shoes on. All in all I would stay here again.

Review: The staff was polite, and check-in and check-out were smooth. However, dining options were limited at 5 pm, so we had to go out for food. My bathroom needed better ventilation and didn’t appear fully clean, so I ended up using my own supplies. The hotel was fine, but there was a lack of maintenance. The duvet was a bit dirty and there was no conditioner (shampoo) in the shower. The coffee machine was not clean and the service in the bar was poor. The menu offered chocolate and cappuccino for breakfast, but there was none.

Pillows were amazing. Comforter was also great. There was some kind of basketball thing going on in the area. Kids were running up and down the halls screaming. No adult supervision. Staff did tell them to stop but they didn’t listen. Food in restaurant downstairs was also good.

I was disappointed with the service upon arrival. The front desk lady was nice, although when I entered the hotel no one was at the front except a serving waitress whom did not look like she enjoyed her job. She did not say hi or smile. I arrived at 830pm and asked what time the bar and restaurant was open until and they said she was closing it right then. Your website said it was open until 12am. I ended up having your cookie for dinner, which I will say was delicious, but would have appreciated the restaurant staying open. There was hair in the shower and lots of dust bunnies in my room on the walls and roof.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but this was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Nearly everything about it was misleading. If you can, stay elsewhere. Be warned: “free breakfast” does not mean free — expect surprise charges. This experience felt like a complete rip-off. Very disappointed.

The hotel is clean and in good location. Online shows hotel has hot tub however there isn’t one should update the website. There is not complementary coffee which this was a first. The coffee shop sells coffee expensive and says it’s Starbucks however I don’t think it is doesn’t taste like it and it’s weak. They served me cold coffee must of been day before. I had the staff give me fresh she wasn’t thrilled!

Check is fast and reception desk is very friendly. Room is good size. There were some gaps in tbe hardwood floor in the room. Garbage can was very small and the bed camforter had stains. Pool was not clean. Bartendee was not friendly. It seems that only tbe reception desk employee were happy and putting efford. Overpriced for quality of service provided

The closeness to the University at Buffalo was the biggest factor in why we chose to stay at the Double Tree. If my daughter chooses to stay all four years I would absolutely be visiting this property again. The price was great, property is very clean, staff was very welcoming and helpful. Fitness center and pool was a great bonus. The only negative were the drinks at the bar. My wife and I bartended for many years and we weren't happy with what we were given. From the mixed drink to a straight shot it was clearly diluted. It was a minor negative but when we do go back we just wont be going to the bar. Aside from that this property is absolutely a 10.
