Hotel Best Triton

Stayed here one night before going to an apartment but when we got to the apartment, it was appalling, so we went back and booked in the Triton for the remaining 10 days of our holiday. Booked bed, breakfast and evening meal. Food is excellent with ample choice. The lasagne was so tasty. Drinks in bars were very reasonable and the Sky bar was great, even in December. Staff are so friendly and reception staff were so helpful with our return booking.

Værelse og altan var rigtig fint og rent. Morgenbuffet var varieret men også lidt kedelig. Æg var godt men bacon var ikke sprødt. Frugt til yoghurt var fra dåse. Det bør være friskskåret. Det ville være dejligt med noget groft brød med kerner. Næsten kun lyst brød. Jeres bedste pladser i morgenbuffeten var ikke tilgængelige. Tror at mange gerne vil sidde med udsigt over havet og der hvor der var mindst larm. Virkelig mærkelig prioritering at lukke det afsnit. Man kunne bare have lukket i den anden ende. morgenbuffet var samlet set ok, men heller ikke mere end det. Spaen var lukket og var ikke tilgængelig. Ærgerligt, idet det var derfor vi havde valgt dette hotel. Ellers var der også meget godt og rart. Lækkert poolområde, men afslapningsstedets madrasser ned mod stranden var våde og blev ikke tørret af for fuglelivet, så gæsterne gik uden om dem selvom der manglede pladser. Alt i alt et ok ophold og særligt godt for vores forældre på 78 år som også var med og nød opholdet.

Complicated building design, no signage for which elevators going where, had to pay extra to use interior pool, and additional charge for towels. Water puddles everywhere inside after rainfall

Water was seeping into the lobby and hallways during heavy rainfall. There were no coffee machines in the rooms, only kettles but no coffee or tea to go with them, so totally useless. No washcloths were provided, so you need to bring your own. Covered pool was not available while we were there. Other than that, very nice hotel.

hôtel très grand en forme de « U ». Si vous êtes dans une branche du « U » opposée à celle où se trouve le restaurant, vous devez marcher beaucoup. Ceci peut être un inconvénient pour les personnes à mobilité réduite. De plus, l’ascenseur le plus près de la réception nous a été refusé car réservé au personnel.

We were excited to return to the Triton after its refurbishment. The room was excellent and very comfortable with superb shower. The aircon was not available despite warm temperatures at night. Kettle was provided but no cupboards and coffee so this needs fixing. The feel is very 4/5* but the indoor pool is a cost (£15€) and the top floor is for premier guests (… open at some time for all guests) A slightly impersonal feel whilst being very good quality. Breakfast was expansive but the bacon was inedibly fat. The coffee/tea machines work at their own pace and queues were prevalent.still a really enjoyable visit

Clean, new hotel in a top location. Very friendly and ambitious staff. The guests are a well-balanced mix of Europeans, mostly from Spain, England, the Netherlands, Germany, and Denmark. The premium package is definitely worth it, as it grants access to an additional restaurant where things are much quieter. All restaurants offer a varied buffet with live cooking. The food is generally good, but there’s room for improvement. Drinks are not included with half board in the evening but are reasonably priced. At breakfast, drinks are included. Unfortunately, sun loungers at the pools become scarce on weekends, and queues start forming about an hour before they open (at 10 a.m.). The pools are closed before 10 a.m. – which is actually a good rule. The beach directly in front of the hotel is average, but the area north of the harbor is excellent. The surroundings are perfect for excursions, boat trips, and dining out. A direct bus into the city stops right in front of the hotel. I can highly recommend this hotel and would definitely book it again.

Great rooms, hotel and service. Bit misled by the roof top area only being for ‘premier’ guests. Parking bit steep at €15 a night. No shower/changing facilities for a late flight

Great 4 stars hotel, spacious, quiet and ultra confortable bedrooms. Modern bathrooms as well. The swimming pools are super clean, one is more for swimmers, another one for babies and the main one to chill. Overall, everything is still brand new / recently renovated in the property and in the rooms, you can't really complain about anything. Breakfast is quite good (but not amazing), but we've been there for 3 nights, let's say it was enough, as the food was the same every single morning. Staff is friendly as well. We saw a couple of entertainments in the evening, unfortunately it was quite poor I would say. Near the hotel, you'll find many tourist shops and restaurants on the main road along the beach, but besides that, the area doesn't offer any interesting cultural stuff to visit (but it's probably not what people are looking for in that city I guess). The beach in front of the hotel is far from the best, and you have to cross a little path to access it. Also on the - side, we were supper disappointed by the parking fees. We booked 2 rooms for 3 nights and paid 1.400€ for that. And we still had to add 15€ per day for the parking :s Same for the wellness access... it's an extra cost. At that price range, those kind of services should be included. Overall, the hotel itself is great, brand new and confortable, but at some point it's also missing a bit of a "soul". Good if you want to chill for a couple of days, or if you like the "all inclusive 4 stars" kind of places.

Stort hotel med flot beliggenhed ud til havet. Fine premium værelser med pænt, lyst interiør, gode møbler og stor altan. Der er meget lydt mellem værelserne. Der mangler et tørrestativ på altanen. Stort hotel betyder stor morgenmadsrestaurant, og den er virkelig stor, støjende og med lange køer overalt for at få tilberedt æg, juice, kaffe mv. Hvis du kommer i spidsbelastnings-tiden fra 9 til 10. Bedste råd er at komme kl 08.00, så er der god plads og ingen stress. Der er ingen toiletter i morgenmadsrestauranten, man skal en etage op for at finde et, og de to elevatorer man kan bruge, er for det meste ude af drift. Den ene af de to var faktisk aldrig i drift, mens vi var der. Rengøringen er lemfældig, de samme stumper løs fugemasse lå på badeværelset de fleste af dagene og det samme var tilfældet med fugleklatter på altanrækværket. Sengetøj bliver sjældent skiftet.

Immaculate property with really helpfull and freindly staff

Très bon emplacement, personnel très gentiles et aidant, par contre le nettoyage de la chambre et la propreté du restaurant laisse un peu a désiré.

Lovely clean room, spacious and great shower and balcony. Good facilities, sky bar is a must at sunset!

Unfortunately you can only write 1500 letters so I cannot describe my experience in detail but I wouldn’t return to this hotel, especially as I have been coming to Benalmadena for years and stayed in the majority of hotels in the area. The toilets around the hotel were minging and only cleaned twice a day, morning and evening which for a hotel resort is disgusting. Staff were not very helpful in dealing with first aid incidents as my mother fell and bashed her knee on marble stairs and I was told no one could go and get me some ice and I had to go and get it myself from the bar. The hotel is ridiculously big and none of the 3 blocks are accessible to each other so good luck if you are not in the block where the pool bar is, it will take you a good 10 minutes just to go to the pool or breakfast. The breakfast area was just a free for all, all the food was cold everyday we were there and it was so busy. If you can imagine 3 separate hotels sharing one buffet restaurant, that is what it was like and this was April, god help in the summer holidays! It’s fine going to a big hotel, but this one doesn’t seem to have the capacity to cater for all the guests, it looks gorgeous from the outside and rooms are fabulous but try doing a week there and you will loose your mind.

very clean hotel, well maintained

Great hotel, very big so hard to navigate at times and find exactly what you are looking for. Check was very quick and was upgraded on arrival, also allowed early check in which was great. Room was very spacious, only one issue with our room was that the door had to be pushed or pulled to ensure it closed fully. We often woke up and realised the door hadn’t fully closed and locked. Extended an extra night and kindly let me stay in the same room. Easy check out & we all really enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to returning next May

Rummet var bra, men strömavbrott vid 2 olika tillfällen och blinkande lampor i rummet och korridoren på natten. Middagen, buffén, var hemsk. Frukosten ok. Personalen var ojämn, en del trevliga och en del ohjälpsamma.

Newly built hotel means that everything feels modern and fresh. Great views from the room and balcony. Friendly staff and the area is nice with quite a few restaurants to choose from even during off-season. Breakfast is very busy between 9:30 - 10:30 so best to show up when it opens at 8:00. Some remarks: If using the garage, make sure to put the paper you recieve in the reception on the windscreen. The staff will tell you this isn’t necessary but if you don’t you’ll find a note on your car the day after that says you haven’t paid for parking which means you’ll spend unnecessary time sorting out if you’ve got a parking ticket or not. Frustrating and something the hotel needs to sort out as this is a routine they’ve clearly not figured out yet. Second complaint is that it’s really noisy even late at night and not from people talking or music but from heavy furniture being moved around extensively, for hours. Not sure wether rooms are being cleaned late at night but the noice was loud, excessive and disturbing every night during the visit and something that has never been experienced in any other hotel before which is a shame considering there’s a lot of good things to say about this hotel. at one point we suspected there was a bar or restaurant above our room which would explain this but that wasn’t the case. All in all a nice hotel which requires some fine tuning before it can live up to it’s four star rating.

Very nice location, friendly staff, very clean hotel. I can’t put 5 stars because for the same standing, most of the hotels propose at least coffee in the room. We had a kettle but nothing to drink and when we requested some coffee sticks, we were said it was a premium service… at 160€ per night, I consider that we can expect premium services (if we can name coffee as a premium service). If you want a coffee without having to take the whole breakfast, you’ll have to go to the pastry in front of the hotel (2 min walk). If you’re not a coffee addict, this is the place to be !

Loved our stay here, would definitely return! Staff at reception were amazing and went out of their way to help us. All staff from bar, restaurant and front of house were excellent.

Excellent location to nice break. Most staff are friendly and helpful. But, do not in room catering. Not even a tea kettle. Get size beds but with thin pillows. Food service offers very good varieties. Would like to mention two names deserving thanks, Marcos & Jesus

Facilities, position and price was fantastic would highly recommend. Only fairly big negative is the attitude of the staff in the sky bar, we were there 3 nights and every night zero friendliness, wouldn’t smile, borderline rude and couldn’t look like they hated their job more. Also the sky bar is screaming out for some music, atmosphere is dead. Other than that had an amazing time and would come again if those changes were made

This hotel was recently refurbished and in the main good. The food was ok. It lacked variety in the evening with only a few changes to the food on offer - as many items were very similar each day. The service at the reception desk was very good. However, service in the bar and snack area in the day was appalling. The bedroom was cleaned daily and fresh towels provided. The location and proximity of the hotel to the beach was great, with lots to do around this area. There was also SPA onsite. However, this came at an additional cost and the lady that worked in there was both not helpful or happy with her role. In the main this hotel was good but just lacked that personal touch to make it much better.

Good holiday hotel and right in front of beach

Nice hotel in a fantastic location, perfect for relaxing by the beach. It looks as though most rooms would have a partial sea view with a balcony. Drinks in the downstairs bar were competively priced for the area, with good service from the bar staff. The evening entertainment was more suited to the older generation, but there are plenty of areas to sit with a drink if you prefer to avoid it! There are 2 pools. The larger of them has a ramp which makes it accessible for guests with limited mobility. The food was good value given what we'd paid for it as an extra, although we chose to not always have the evening meal due to the options available.

Great beach front location with beautiful garden and pool area. Very busy area for traffic so the onsite covered parking (€6 per day) was a godsend.

Fantastic refurbishment, plenty of seating areas, rooftop bar & pool area is fabulous. The only area that needs improvement & fast is the dining area, there's far too many diner's for the area & staff who are run off their feet, people bumping into one another with plates of hot food.

Big hotel, never felt busy apart from the pools. Good location, access to the promenade through the grounds. Great choice for breakfast

Newly refurbished so everything looks excellent. Few grips.. there a kettle in the room but no tea or coffee available?? The breakfast and dinner options were not the best. You have to find your own seating in the dining areas and the seats available are limited. Other than that the place is like brand new and there been no expense spared on the refurbishment.
