This place exceeded my expectations. Great amenities, golf club, swimming pool, steamer,sauna and above all great customer service. Breakfast was amazing and all inclusive. I would definitely stay here and encourage family and friends to stay.

Overall very pleased with our stay. Comfortable, clean rooms, accommodating staff, very good restaurant and buffet breakfast. Rooms overlooking the car park are quite noisy with the arrival and departure of golfers, and are near a pretty busy main road. The pool is fine (though resembles more a public swimming pool than a hotel one). We enjoyed the round of golf we were able to play there, course was in great shape in spite of the very hot weather.

Bathroom stank. Smell coming from drains. Noisy when water went to drain. Doors slammed shut so I was easily woke. Receptionist didn’t ask how our stay was. Food in bar was great. Breakfast was good. Coffee is poor. Swimming reception staff were helpful. Swimming area needs a general clean. Jacuzzi was really good. Steam room needs a clean. Place to hand towels is needed.

We chose this hotel because it was the one closest to the airport with a hot tub, and we were pleasantly surprised by how wonderful the property was! The hot tub was part of the pool and leisure centre for all ages, but the steam room and sauna were nice options too. Beautiful property, beautiful room. And a North American king sized bed, the only one we had all trip. Would have loved a shuttle to and from the airport but it was close enough. Great stay!

The whole property is very dated. It seems like it has been forgotten since COVID. Rooms, lobby, facilities seemed forgotten since 2010. Golf was great and the staff were friendly.

Reception staff on arrival weren’t overly friendly . We couldn’t use the pool as a child had vomited in it . Pool dressing areas need refurb , grouting of tiles was black , shower curtains were discoloured and floor mats were manky looking . Huge chip out of trim around the bath and the bathroom door was black & warped in the en-suite . The lady on breakfast didn’t show us where anything was , ie , hot food counter to serve yourself . Doors & windows needed to be cleaned & polished and an investment in shake & vac or disinfectant spray to mask the smell of dirty , tired furnishings would be welcomed . I wouldn’t be running g back to the place in a hurry and I’d say the four stars displayed were awarded to the hotel many moons ago !

The hotel is quite dated which is what you expect for the price you pay. But it was very dirty, with the swimming pool and changing facilities in particular being rotten dirty. The Kettle in the bedroom was lined (on the inside) with dirt. The hair dryer in the room was broken. It was all just a bit tired and grubby I’m afraid.

Our stay started off with finding stains on our bedsheets in our bed. The staff quickly changed them, but it soured our expectations. The next issue we had was when we went to the bar for a Valentines Day drink. It took nearly 10 minutes for someone to serve us, despite there being as many people behind the bar as there were at it. Their bar was nowhere near capacity, but we were simply being ignored. It wasn't until we asked how to we get a drink that someone actually served us. And it didn't end there. It took another 10 minutes to get a Guiness and a cocktail. The person who took the order couldn't make the cocktail and asked someone else to make it. They didn't make it until we asked about it. It definitely dampened our Valentines Day getaway, and recommend Roganstown if you're expecting service. The staff overall were cheerful and nice (hence 3 stars instead of 2), but the service was lacking greatly. It's meant to be 4 Star hotel. It didn't even reach 2 Star service.

Excellent place to stay. Staff was top notch, friendly and extremely helpful. Very clean, servicing of room was excellent during our 9 night stay. Reservations manager and staff went above and beyond to help us. Would highly recommend a stay here!

Property is old elegance. It is starting to show some wear but overall a nice stay. The bathroom has not been upgraded and has the old tub/shower, which nobody seems to like anymore.

The bed mattress needs changing. No very comfortable. I had an accident in the bedroom and the staff at reception told me they will send me a report for insurance purposes in case I needed to go to hospital. I am still awaiting the report. The hotel was far away from any amenities so no very convenient to go around the area by foot. The hotel was clean and quiet and have everything you need.

I sent a message early in the morning requesting an early check in due to my flight arriving early, but I didn't receive a reply. I arrived at the hotel at 9 am and requested an early check in and was okay with paying extra and they still didn't accommodate. After checking in at 3:30 pm I was told the elevator is broken and there was no one there to help me so I had to carry 3 bags up the stairs to my room. One problem with the hotel and room was that it was in a secluded area in the middle of nowhere with nothing to do besides play golf, I don't recommend unless that's what you came for. The other issues were the fridge in the room didn't work, no AC or fan, if you try opening the only window it has no screen so all bugs would come in, no phone charging station, spider web all over the corners of the room, the breakfast was very bad. The hotel is better for people visiting around the area to play Golf, not for those coming from out of town and different countries. The building is very old and outdated, should be 2 star instead of 4.

Had a very pleasant stay on the tail end of a 3-day work trip. Staff are always polite and courteous. Room amenities are ok, though a few updated sockets wouldn't go astray, or slightly better lighting (tricky with high ceilings and an older structure). Breakfast was very nice and to order. Will certainly be staying again.

We needed to check in for 3 days total. Two days were private pay, one day was paid by my vacation group (Aer Lingus vacation). You wuups have thought this was brain surgery. They kept telling us we would have to change rooms or they couldn’t help us because they weren’t really ‘registration’. Although they were at the REGISTRATION desk.

We booked this hotel for its proximity to Dublin airport. It is easy to take a back way / smaller roads to the airport and return a rental car for an early flight! This way you avoid Dublin traffic when you are stressed about your flight. Classic older hotel with absolutely amazing staff! The area around the airport is not cheap, and we thought this place offered amazing value. Would absolutely recommend this place and use again next time we are back in Dublin.

We had a room in the main house that was spacious with large en-suite. Shower is over bath with weak pressure and takes ages for hot water to come through. Dined in bar and food was very good. Great location for golf. Around 25 euro to malahide. Nothing within walking distance.

Very convenient location next to the airport. It’s a bit older but that gives it charm. It’s about 30 minutes from City Centre. It’s got fantastic beautiful scenery, food, and there’s a great pub down the road called Old School House. Staff is excellent

We booked this hotel a while back, based on the fact that it had a restaurant and a pool. The restaurant was closed (only the bar was open that served limited pub food. The hotel website still says there is a restaurant. The pool was only open from 9-5 which was outside the hours we wanted to enjoy a swim.

The breakfast are hot and delicious and add cereals, fruit, yogurt, breads and fresh pastries along with the usual beverages. The bar food is also well prepared and varied at reasonable prices. The beds are large and comfortable.

We had a lovely stay. The only thing they should consider is filtering the water used for hot beverages like tea and coffee. It's tap water and it makes everything taste like disinfectant. Not their fault. Irish water is full of chemicals.

Room was nothing more than basic,mould on the tiles in the shower and heavy rain during the night meant I was woken at 5.30 by a constant loud dripping on the roof. Breakfast was poor ,hot food serve yourselves from a buffet and unpleasant. We ate in the hotel bar previous evening fish and chips which was lovely.
