Hotel Heynen

Although the hotel was in a good location and had free parking , a nice room and an adequate breakfast. Unfortunately our 1 night stay was spoilt with the fact that on our arrival the hotel was completely locked up. Check in stated it was from 3pm and we arrived at half past. After ringing the proprietor, she arrived after half an hour to let us in. Our next problem was over the price we paid . Our offer included a free breakfast ,but the lady argued that we hadn't paid enough. So she rang Expedia to complain. So we had to sit and wait about another hour before we were given the key to our room. But at least we were told that we were entitled to a free breakfast. We still had to settle the bill for city tax which states is €2 35 each. But we didn't receive any change from a 10€ note. As it took over 90mins to check in , it meant that we had very little time to visit the lovely centre of valkeburg before the attractions closed. I certainly wouldn't visit again due to the owners bad attitude. Although I must say, the girl who served breakfast was lovely.

Wat een heerlijk hotel. Dicht bij het station. Kom je met eigen vervoer achter het hotel ruime eigen parkeerplaats. Eigenarese super gast vrij. Alles wordt voor je geregeld. Zij ontvangt je met open armen en staat echt voor haar gasten klaar.
