Would not recommend this property or trusting expedia in their listings. The property was supposed to have two restaurants. There was only one and the food was a) nothing like as pictured and b) with an extremely limited selection. There was supposed to be a spa. This was closed during my entire stay without a warning or discount. My room was fine but over the windows there were giant duct tape X's so that there couldn't be an unobstructed view. Staff often took a long time to respond to requests, even once I asked them to fill the tub and several hours passed without someone coming even after a reminder. The room service closes without warning. You pay a fee when you arrive to enter the national park which the hotel borders on, and then you have to pay again to actually enter the park as the hotel doesn't have an agreement with them? The plastic cups were cheap, nothing was really as pictured, and expedia has offered no compensation for this completely misadvertised listing, saying "the property has to approve the refund and they do not", even though the property told me in person that they would. Go somewhere else in Tulum. At the very least somewhere with beach access so you can escape your accommodation if you run into the same misfortune.

The KORE Tulum property is not as advertised. A list of things that my travel companion and I were heavily displeased with: 1. I was unable to get in contact with either the resort or Expedia when trying to see about the possibility of a shuttle from Tulum airport, or to attempt to book spa treatments or excursions early. Nobody picked up phones and nobody responded to emails either. This forced me to rent a car for the duration of our stay. 2. There is no SPA. Yet, the spa is advertised on the Kore Tulum website. One of the days we were there a woman was offering massages on a chair outside of the spa building which seemed to be condemned. 3. The website advertised 2-3 restaurants, there was only one available. That should be mentioned at booking. 4. There was a swim up bar but we only saw a bartender at the swim up bar ONE time in 5 days. 5. We walked around the resort grounds - KORE seems to be a resort that was nice once, and then something happened - what that something is, we could not tell. 6. The resort is adjacent to the entrance for a national park. During the day the military closes the direct entrance to the hotel and forces all vehicles to use the national park entrance. On two occasions we were told we had to pay the park entrance fee in order to get to our hotel each time. We complained to the staff at KORE, they came out and assisted then the next time KORE gave us a brown band to deal with that issue. Something must be done to offset our experience.

The staff was helpful, but we didn’t appreciate the dinner staff directly asking for a tip - it felt unprofessional and made us uncomfortable. The property clearly had a lot of money put into it initially, but unfortunately, maintenance seems almost non-existent or at best, minimal. Every treadmill in the gym is broken, and some other machines barely function—again, a clear lack of upkeep. All four outdoor jacuzzis were lukewarm at best, not properly heated. The room itself was spacious and nice, but we noticed maintenance issues like burnt-out bulbs, a dripping shower, and a loose faucet barely hanging on - again, no maintenance. Lastly, while the property is right in front of the beach, there’s no direct beach access as it sits on a rocky shoreline.

Property was with out power when it was booked. We were informed when we were going to check in. Now we have to dispute the charges since they wouldn’t refund then. We didn’t check in or go to the room since they couldn’t tell us a time of when the power would be restored.

For the low price I was satisfied and there were certain things like the cool forest jungle vibe and the view of the ocean from the pool that were really nice. The food and drinks were not good but good enough to eat. We only got 2 small bottles of water per day, room service didn't have wine available to order. There is only one restaurant. There is no beach access, I guess I wrongly assumed this when booking. There are no free activities. There is a free bike rental which is nice because nothing is walking distance and the resort didn't have anything to do other than sleep, eat or go to the pool or gym but despite how vacant the resort seemed, the bike rental was often unavailable and at full use. This place is not luxury it's mid level, if you're satisficed with basic needs being met and a nice vibe in Tulum I highly recommend it however if you have decent high standards for feeling like you're being treated really well and staff goes above and beyond I don't recommend this place.

Not what we expected. The check in process left a lot to be desired, we were not provided any instructions on the hotel (such as dining hours, pool towels or wifi) or given a map. After being led to our room, we found it had only been partially cleaned before our arrival. Stains were present on the furniture, the lock was broken on the door etc. During our stay we had to phone the front desk for multiple issues in the room (AC stopped working, water leaking through the roof) and we did have a prompt response to those concerns. The majority of staff were absolutely lovely. The grounds were well maintained despite the buildings themselves being a little run down. We found that the pool bar was only manned occasionally leading to some difficulties getting drinks throughout the day. The website for the hotel lists three different restaurants, however it is really one restaurant with three different menus that vary throughout the week. There was no buffet, it was all food that had to be ordered. Also, not once in our week long stay did they have all items lists on the menu.

Limited food for breakfast lunch and dinner. All 3 days there was no syrup for the pancakes, more than half the menu unavailable everyday. The dinner only consist of an Asian style dish or Italian style dish. Iguanas all over the dining area. And many of raccoons! Room service is suppose to be until 1:30am everyday but instead it closed at 10:30am. No wash clothes available! Pool was extremely dirty the first day. Also there is 1 swim up bar and only 1 day the bar was open until 6pm. All other days you had to find an employee to get drinks. Super short staffed. water pressure in the shower was so low it was almost unusable. No beach area. One of the worst ever!

Staff,especially dining staff very nice. The pool was decent. Overall the property needs to be updated and fixed. Its dirty, not the rooms...the property. There was poop ( iguanas) everywhere, broken door knobs, cracks in the ceiling, dirt in the ocean, bugs inside common areas ( ants, I saw a few roaches). Needs a serious deep cleaning.

Food in dining was average. In my room the wrong coffee bag. Woke up on my birthday to 3 big roaches and one was alive and crawling and the they didn’t even pick up one when cleaning. Property beautiful but not very well maintained. Room was big and comfy and also clean.

Great location, but dirty, dated with subpar food. The white curtains were FULL of black mold. There was still hair in the shower drain and the room had a bit of a mildew smell and you could tell that it hadn’t been properly swept, dusted or mopped. My first room was totally unacceptable and I was moved to another room which wasn’t much better. :(

THERE US NO BEACH. It us all cliffs. I enjoyed the swimming pool. My room and bedding were very smelly. Towels were old and dirty. Bathroom was not clean on a daily basis. Reception staff were not helpful at all to meet guests needs. Kitchen staff were nice and very helpful

The staff was amazing but the upkeep of the property is subpar mold at the pool, inside of the shower on the shower heads.Daybeds aren’t always made up. Pools need to be cleaned more often. Overall the experience is nice but the place needs more work.

Six of us spent three nights and it was a very relaxed and quiet setting. If you’re looking for a party scene this isn’t it but if you are just looking for tranquility give it a try. Food was ok, rooms were spotless, drinks were good. Pool was nice and everything was laid out nicely to where you didn’t have to walk a mile to get somewhere. I’d go back.
Six of us spent three nights and it was a very relaxed and quiet setting. If you’re looking for a party scene this isn’t it but if you are just looking for tranquility give it a try. First off... I will definitely be staying at the Kore again. This resort is so close to being 5 Star. Pros... Suites are huge... Walking in to the room it is breath taking... You immediately calm and relaxed... Huge windows, sliding doors, and curtains. The Kore is it's own little village secluded and safe enough to take a night strolle around the property. The staff takes pride in cleanliness... The staff is up early prepping the property for the day and it's guest. Cons... The Kore just needs some love... I'm not sure if they have one but a Property Manager and/or Event Coordinator to oversee updates to the rooms, buildings, weight room equipment would make such a huge difference. Another suggestion is maximizing the safety and seclusion with in house activities, game nights... They have a building that could be used for movies, Dance nights, food tastings, etc. I really enjoyed my stay... Sitting out on the balcony at night feeling the breeze off the ocean was so peaceful and relaxing.

La habitación increíble, super limpia y cómoda. Con jacuzzi privado delicioso. Lo único malo fue que la alberca estaba fría y realmente no te podías meter. El personal super amable y servicial, solo que el servicio es lento y a veces no había varias cosas del menú. Es un lugar muy tranquilo y execelente para relajarte. Para ir a la playa se toma una bici del hotel y se hacen 5 minutos a la playa de parque jaguar que está espectacular.
La habitación increíble, super limpia y cómoda. Con jacuzzi privado delicioso. Lo único malo fue que la alberca estaba fría y realmente no te podías meter. Foi um bom hotel mas por ser antigo precisa de atualizações. Frigobar quebrado, ar condicionado ruim e um servico de quarto a desejar. O quarto maravilhoso e banheiro também. tive que pedir para o servico de quarto colocar sabonete e shampoo. Sem tapete de banheiro. A comida razoável. A animação bem fora da atualidade e que existe hoje. Se colocassem um bom DJ ja faria a diferença.

Our experience here was better than average based on the reviews. For travel on a budget, we had a great time. There were plenty of things that didn't work, or weren't available, but I found myself enjoying the things that did and were. We had some standout staff members who were super friendly, like Faustino and Fernando, that made us some of the best margaritas we have ever drank! The food we had was flavourful, served quickly, and felt good to eat (no sickness here). The room was comfortable, clean, and quiet, even during the storm that came in through the week. The downsides were mostly that some of the facilities need maintenance. Our AC didn't work, and neither did the jets in our jacuzzi (though it did get clean hot water!). Apart from that there were some limited options when it came to food, even running out of beer entirely for a day. A few more staff, more frequent restocking, and some maintenance would have made this trip a 5/5. For the price we paid, with the expectations we had, I would recommend Kore to anyone traveling for all-inclusive on a budget.

The food we had was flavourful, served quickly, and felt good to eat (no sickness here). The room was comfortable, clean, and quiet, even during the storm that came in through the week. The downsides were mostly that some of the facilities need maintenance. Our AC didn't work, and neither did the jets in our jacuzzi (though it did get clean hot water!). Apart from that there were some limited options when it came to food, even running out of beer entirely for a day. A few more staff, more frequent restocking, and some maintenance would have made this trip a 5/5. For the price we paid, with the expectations we had, I would recommend Kore to anyone traveling for all-inclusive on a budget.

The staff was helpful, but we didn’t appreciate the dinner staff directly asking for a tip - it felt unprofessional and made us uncomfortable. The property clearly had a lot of money put into it initially, but unfortunately, maintenance seems almost non-existent or at best, minimal. Every treadmill in the gym is broken, and some other machines barely function—again, a clear lack of upkeep. All four outdoor jacuzzis were lukewarm at best, not properly heated. The room itself was spacious and nice, but we noticed maintenance issues like burnt-out bulbs, a dripping shower, and a loose faucet barely hanging on - again, no maintenance. Lastly, while the property is right in front of the beach, there’s no direct beach access as it sits on a rocky shoreline.

As a resort that advertises itself as a spa and wellness retreat, the amount of noise at the resort was absurd. We were initially placed in a room directly adjacent to off-property construction (not the property\'s fault) that woke us up every morning at or before 7am, and it sounded like someone was working in our room it was so loud. However, even when we requested to move rooms, we noticed the lack of sound-proofing between rooms- we could hear everything happening in the main hall and outside (and could still hear the construction). Furthermore, my boyfriend got food poisoning from dinner the second night we were there and the management blamed it on our "weaker stomachs" and suggested trying "something lighter." There was a lack of variety on the menus that made the food options disappointing, and the bars lacked anything other than bottom shelf liquor. While we were there, the amount of people I saw (I was also one of them) looking at expedia to find other options to move to was rather high. This resort is not worth saving a few dollars-- you get what you (don\'t) pay for. Oh also, the one review that talked about American women stripping down in the pool - totally true, but the workers were encouraging it. Disgusting.

Water came into my room 2/3 days we were there. The outside jacuzzi, one of the reasons I booked the hotel room, was broken. Our refrigerator started leaking and we slipped coming out of the bathroom. This resort is right off the beach but you cannot access it because the beach is sitting on rocks. We had to go haggle with beach clubs about them inflating their prices because nothing ever matched what was said online. You should absolutely get the crispy fish tacos if you go. And the pool bartender makes a mean margarita.

Not what we expected. The check in process left a lot to be desired, we were not provided any instructions on the hotel (such as dining hours, pool towels or wifi) or given a map. After being led to our room, we found it had only been partially cleaned before our arrival. Stains were present on the furniture, the lock was broken on the door etc. During our stay we had to phone the front desk for multiple issues in the room (AC stopped working, water leaking through the roof) and we did have a prompt response to those concerns. The majority of staff were absolutely lovely. The grounds were well maintained despite the buildings themselves being a little run down. We found that the pool bar was only manned occasionally leading to some difficulties getting drinks throughout the day. The website for the hotel lists three different restaurants, however it is really one restaurant with three different menus that vary throughout the week. There was no buffet, it was all food that had to be ordered. Also, not once in our week long stay did they have all items lists on the menu.

Hotel bem localizado e quarto amplo e aconchegante. Pontos que podem melhorar: não oferecem WI-FI nos quartos, apenas no lobby e não funciona muito bem. Um hotel desse porte deveria ter internet liberada. Podem melhorar no serviço de comida, principalmente no jantar. Poderiam oferecer aluguel de scooter ou algum serviço de transporte para levar os hóspedes no centro. Quarto poderia ter mais ventilação, no banheiro.

Would not recommend this property or trusting expedia in their listings. The property was supposed to have two restaurants. There was only one and the food was a) nothing like as pictured and b) with an extremely limited selection. There was supposed to be a spa. This was closed during my entire stay without a warning or discount. My room was fine but over the windows there were giant duct tape X's so that there couldn't be an unobstructed view. Staff often took a long time to respond to requests, even once I asked them to fill the tub and several hours passed without someone coming even after a reminder. The room service closes without warning. You pay a fee when you arrive to enter the national park which the hotel borders on, and then you have to pay again to actually enter the park as the hotel doesn't have an agreement with them? The plastic cups were cheap, nothing was really as pictured, and expedia has offered no compensation for this completely misadvertised listing, saying "the property has to approve the refund and they do not", even though the property told me in person that they would. Go somewhere else in Tulum. At the very least somewhere with beach access so you can escape your accommodation if you run into the same misfortune.

From the time of arrival my experience was horrible. They had my reservations wrong and refused to help resolve the issue. When I asked for management they again refused to allow me to speak with management the entire time. Once night fell and I wanted to shower from a long day of travel; there was no water. The staff stated they turn the water off every night until 5am. This was the most inconvenient thing I have ever heard of. The towels left in the room were dingy as ever. They basically looked black they were so nasty. The hot tub I had in the room for up charge did not work. I asked for a microwave and staff told me the microwave was in the restaurant and when I went to the restaurant who stated there is no microwave it’s broke. The entire resort was nasty, old and looks like it’s closed down. My entire stay was horrible. I am requesting a refund for my stay as I have discussed with the resort staff as well.

The KORE Tulum property is not as advertised. A list of things that my travel companion and I were heavily displeased with: 1. I was unable to get in contact with either the resort or Expedia when trying to see about the possibility of a shuttle from Tulum airport, or to attempt to book spa treatments or excursions early. Nobody picked up phones and nobody responded to emails either. This forced me to rent a car for the duration of our stay. 2. There is no SPA. Yet, the spa is advertised on the Kore Tulum website. One of the days we were there a woman was offering massages on a chair outside of the spa building which seemed to be condemned. 3. The website advertised 2-3 restaurants, there was only one available. That should be mentioned at booking. 4. There was a swim up bar but we only saw a bartender at the swim up bar ONE time in 5 days. 5. We walked around the resort grounds - KORE seems to be a resort that was nice once, and then something happened - what that something is, we could not tell. 6. The resort is adjacent to the entrance for a national park. During the day the military closes the direct entrance to the hotel and forces all vehicles to use the national park entrance. On two occasions we were told we had to pay the park entrance fee in order to get to our hotel each time. We complained to the staff at KORE, they came out and assisted then the next time KORE gave us a brown band to deal with that issue. Something must be done to offset our experience.

The entire staff was friendly and tentative to everyone’s needs. Absolutely everyone we came across had a smile. Shoutout to Freddy for being the best bar tender we have had. This says a lot coming from Los Angeles residents!

I loved the food! All the staff were so nice!! The views are amazing here too. One thing I really loved was that you are able to get the Colectivo within walking distance. They charge 20-30 pesos to take you to the main town.

So I enjoyed our stay with kore everyone was very nice to us helped us with everything we needed. The staff was really friendly I walked into the kitchen at close and was going to get food somewhere else but they sat me and my fiancée down and made us a Togo dinner and don’t be afraid of renting a scooter and exploring tulum it’s very safe just be respectful

Kore Tulum is a beautiful resort! The grounds are amazing. My room was huge and had all of the features described in the ad. It is on the edge of a national park and an easy walk to many attractions. Staff were friendly and very helpful. I definitely recommend and will stay here again!

El Hotel es muy bonito, tiene unas vistas al mar hermosas, excelente ubicación al lado del parque jaguar y playas increíbles, la comida deliciosa. Lo único que nos molesto fue al llegar al hotel y que el recepcionista no fue nada amable.

Beautiful location, had bikes, which we were able to ride to the Tulum ruins. Extremely friendly staff, no beach, but we were able to ride our bikes to beach just a couple kilometers away. Grounds were beautiful, but does need some repair work. Overall, a great place to stay for short stay.

For the low price I was satisfied and there were certain things like the cool forest jungle vibe and the view of the ocean from the pool that were really nice. The food and drinks were not good but good enough to eat. We only got 2 small bottles of water per day, room service didn't have wine available to order. There is only one restaurant. There is no beach access, I guess I wrongly assumed this when booking. There are no free activities. There is a free bike rental which is nice because nothing is walking distance and the resort didn't have anything to do other than sleep, eat or go to the pool or gym but despite how vacant the resort seemed, the bike rental was often unavailable and at full use. This place is not luxury it's mid level, if you're satisficed with basic needs being met and a nice vibe in Tulum I highly recommend it however if you have decent high standards for feeling like you're being treated really well and staff goes above and beyond I don't recommend this place.

This place is not luxury it's mid level, if you're satisficed with basic needs being met and a nice vibe in Tulum I highly recommend it however if you have decent high standards for feeling like you're being treated really well and staff goes above and beyond I don't recommend this place.

I love that Kore Tulum is small -- there was a chance to get to know others if you wanted, and space enough to feel alone if you didn\'t. The pool was fairly laid back weekdays and kicked up a bit on the weekend, but there were always other areas overlooking the ocean where you could have quiet time. It was not an issue at all for us that there is no direct beach access. The pool was great for cooling off (and they play water volleyball every afternoon!), and really I wanted the sound of the ocean and got that. There is only one restaurant, but they had a different theme each night, and the food was generally very good. The front desk staff were so kind. We had to head into Tulum for medical care, and they directed us the best place to go. And when our shuttle to the airport didn\'t show up, they helped us find a taxi quickly (and at 5:30am!) It was my birthday while we were there, and one of the staff made me smile by greeting me each time he saw me with a "Happy Birthday". There\'ve been other reviews commenting on how long it takes to fill the jacuzzi tubs... there is a sign posted that it is for environmental reasons to conserve water. You just have to plan for the 45min it takes to fill, and then it is a wonderful thing to end the day with (and ask when you are at dinner for a glass of wine or whiskey to take to your room to complete the experience :-) ) I look forward to visiting Kore Tulum again.

I loved the food! All the staff were so nice!! The views are amazing here too. One thing I really loved was that you are able to get the Colectivo within walking distance. They charge 20-30 pesos to take you to the main town.

I liked that this was a small resort. My two biggest complaints are that there is Major construction going on just outside the gates of the hotel and they're using a machine that is pounding things into the ground! it was very loud and it went on all day! The only other thing was that the service at the restaurant was spotty. We were ignored and didn't even get coffee or water for over 20 minutes most mornings. If Coffee is important to the start of your day, make it in your room before heading to breakfast!

The physical property is nice. They have so much potential if they fix everything else. That being said, their food is HORRIBLE. They didn’t have multiple restaurants as stated the one restaurant. For every meal, more than half the menu was unavailable. Of what they had, most of it didn’t taste good. They also barely had basic things like juice. The margaritas were rank. Most of the servers were rude as well. It’s like they wanted to be upset with you for asking questions about what they had available. I even had one walk away from me during breakfast while I was asking him questions for clarity. Lastly, the front desk staff is a bit oblivious too. S

Kore is a great resort if you are planning on soend good amount of your trip outside of the resort. Its on the smaller side with one main restaurant for almoat all meals (theres also a pool bar and separate bar/snacks lounge). There is no beach access from the resort directly, you need to leave the resort and walk about 10 minutes to enter the closest beach. The staff and service is great. We stayed here for 3.5 days and had excursions planned on all 3 full days we were there, in the evenings we relaxed at the resort which worked well for us.

Kore is a very big resort but not a lot of people. If you're looking for something fun this isn't the place. It's more for an older crowd. Everything was nice besides the food. It's only 1 restaurant on the resort it serves breakfast lunch & dinner but the food isn't good.

Would not recommend this property or trusting expedia in their listings. The property was supposed to have two restaurants. There was only one and the food was a) nothing like as pictured and b) with an extremely limited selection. There was supposed to be a spa. This was closed during my entire stay without a warning or discount. My room was fine but over the windows there were giant duct tape X's so that there couldn't be an unobstructed view. Staff often took a long time to respond to requests, even once I asked them to fill the tub and several hours passed without someone coming even after a reminder. The room service closes without warning. You pay a fee when you arrive to enter the national park which the hotel borders on, and then you have to pay again to actually enter the park as the hotel doesn't have an agreement with them? The plastic cups were cheap, nothing was really as pictured, and expedia has offered no compensation for this completely misadvertised listing, saying "the property has to approve the refund and they do not", even though the property told me in person that they would. Go somewhere else in Tulum. At the very least somewhere with beach access so you can escape your accommodation if you run into the same misfortune.

Very old and outdated. The property needs a lot of maintenance. The staff is great and responsive. Many of the problems are out of their control. The food was good, but all of the deserts we had were not very good. A lot of gym equipment is broken. It seems like a very neglected place and it used to be a great place to come. Again, the staff are amazing. Check out more recent reviews of this place before staying. I think we came at the beginning of the season and they were getting everything ready and back in the swing of things.

Our experience here was better than average based on the reviews. For travel on a budget, we had a great time. There were plenty of things that didn't work, or weren't available, but I found myself enjoying the things that did and were. We had some standout staff members who were super friendly, like Faustino and Fernando, that made us some of the best margaritas we have ever drank! The food we had was flavourful, served quickly, and felt good to eat (no sickness here). The room was comfortable, clean, and quiet, even during the storm that came in through the week. The downsides were mostly that some of the facilities need maintenance. Our AC didn't work, and neither did the jets in our jacuzzi (though it did get clean hot water!). Apart from that there were some limited options when it came to food, even running out of beer entirely for a day. A few more staff, more frequent restocking, and some maintenance would have made this trip a 5/5. For the price we paid, with the expectations we had, I would recommend Kore to anyone traveling for all-inclusive on a budget.

For the low price I was satisfied and there were certain things like the cool forest jungle vibe and the view of the ocean from the pool that were really nice. The food and drinks were not good but good enough to eat. We only got 2 small bottles of water per day, room service didn't have wine available to order. There is only one restaurant. There is no beach access, I guess I wrongly assumed this when booking. There are no free activities. There is a free bike rental which is nice because nothing is walking distance and the resort didn't have anything to do other than sleep, eat or go to the pool or gym but despite how vacant the resort seemed, the bike rental was often unavailable and at full use. Not what we expected. The check in process left a lot to be desired, we were not provided any instructions on the hotel (such as dining hours, pool towels or wifi) or given a map. After being led to our room, we found it had only been partially cleaned before our arrival. Stains were present on the furniture, the lock was broken on the door etc. During our stay we had to phone the front desk for multiple issues in the room (AC stopped working, water leaking through the roof) and we did have a prompt response to those concerns. The majority of staff were absolutely lovely. The grounds were well maintained despite the buildings themselves being a little run down. We found that the pool bar was only manned occasionally leading to some difficulties getting drinks throughout the day. The website for the hotel lists three different restaurants, however it is really one restaurant with three different menus that vary throughout the week. There was no buffet, it was all food that had to be ordered. Also, not once in our week long stay did they have all items lists on the menu.

Everything was wonderful except the day bartender at the pool bar. He wasnt the nicest and never smiled. The evening bartender in the lounge, Freddy was an absolute delight and so entertaining. We were huge fans of his service and his positive attitude and energy. We loved visiting him before we went to dinner. The only other complaint we had was dinner. The food just wasnt very good. It came out cool to the touch and very bland. Breakfast and lunch were great! Food was hot and tasted wonderful.

We stayed in August 2024 for my birthday. This was our 5th or 6th trip and unfortunately we will probably not return. Resort has stopped focusing on couples and has starting promoting large groups to book rooms. The resort isn't set up for this. Dining is delayed, staff is stressed (not enough of them to serve large groups plus other guests), more buffets than before, loud groups partying until late into the night/morning takes away from the chill, relaxing, quiet vibe the resort used to have. Staff and taxi drivers indicate the new manager (might not still be there 1.5 years later, maybe so) was running the resort into the ground for personal profit. We came here for our honeymoon in 2016 and loved it and went back several times. The last trip was so bad and noisy we were ready to leave early since the other people in our building thought nothing of blaring their music and talking on the phone until 3 and 4am in the common areas between rooms. The way the buildings are set up in this resort you walk into a common area and all the rooms in the building come off the common area. The problem is the rooms are very insulated between the rooms but not around the doors. Also because of the large open ceilings, stuff in the common areas echo. As the group was very large (probably 30 plus adults), our concerns were pretty much dismissed since they had rented out about 1/3 of the resort. The wait staff and kitchen staff and bar staff did the best they could.

Buena opcion por el precio pero no habia mucha gente hospedada por lo que habia muy pocas opciones de comida un solo restaurante para todo, el bartender del bar de los primeros dias siempre enojado y las bebidas muy malas, no hay atencion en la alberca por lo que tienes q salirte a cada rato a pedir mas bebidas y/o comida, recomiendo llevar termos. Elnhotel se ve viejo como olvidado y ya no tienen el servicio de bicis. El trato en recepcion fue bueno. Pudimos tomar el transporte del parque del jaguar para movernoa en el area eso fue muy bueno porque no hay manera mas q con taxis carisimos Si buscar fiesta o mucho movimiento no es el indicado

This place was cool 15 years ago, and hasn’t been updated. Our room seemed like it was falling apart, cracked walls, stained sheets and robes. Food was overly processed, drinks were bottom shelf. The pictures made it seem way cooler than it was. The bikes were rusted and falling apart, totally unsafe to ride.
