Great boutique hotel with a cool vibe. Loved the Queens West community. Great restaurants and shopping throughout the neighborhood. Great walking area. Staff was very helpful.

Clean room and good location for where we needed to stay. That is about all we can say about this hotel. The staff experience was not great - they often would ignore guests and only offer help or interact with guests when approached directly. For example - the elevator is manually operated and requires an operator. Front desk staff often ignored us when we stood in front of the elevator and discussed whether it was operating or not. This led us to using the stairs quite often. It wasn’t until the night time when we were truly exhausted and directly asked the front desk whether the elevator was out of service were we offered an operator to help us get to our floor (top floor). We found the front desk staff to be avoidant in interacting with guests and often felt like we were taking up their time. This hotel does what it needs to do if you just want a bed to sleep in. Otherwise you are on your own.

Such a sweet little hotel! Very clean, charming, and quiet, with helpful staff and thoughtful amenities. Our room included a mini fridge and electric kettle. Walkable to many food options, downtown Toronto, Kensington Market, and RBC Amphitheater. Safe area; we walked back from a concert at RBC late at night without any safety concerns as two women. Parking in the Metro garage was secure and easy. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

Picked the Gladstone House for the historic masterpiece that it is. So much charm and preserved history. Would definitely come back! Our room faced Gladstone Ave and it was a little loud at night with garbage trucks and such but we had earplugs and had no trouble sleeping.
