Well presented hotel with great staff and an excellent, busy, bar

stayedmhere plenty of times, good bar with sports on, foods decent too.

The hotel location is great and overlooking the sea. Staff were great, hotel looking tired in places. I had room 137 in the basement, I moved rooms as the mattress was awful. The new room 139 was ok but yet again the mattress was awful which made for a poor night's sleep. There was also an awful noise at various times of water tanks or something filling up. At nearly £200 for two nights I would expect far better.

Best Hotel in Sunderland, hands down!
