I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hotel HF Fénix Garden in Lisbon! From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. The buffet breakfast was outstanding, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious options that made every morning a real treat. A special mention goes to Sérgio from the restaurant, who was amazing and truly attentive — he made the experience feel warm and personalized. My room was spotless, comfortable, and offered an amazing view that made my stay even more special. I was also impressed with all the amenities provided in the room, which made it feel both modern and cozy at the same time. The only point I’d like to highlight is the parking access. It’s extremely tight and could be dangerous if you’re not very careful—honestly, it feels like an accident could happen easily given how narrow the entrance and exit are. That being said, everything else about this hotel was perfect, and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Lisbon. I’ll definitely come back on my next trip!

Had a terrific 6 night stay here. The location is fantastic for access to public transportation (i.e. the metro Marques de Pombal station is half a block away) including many bus stops. The hotel itself is very quiet, modern, clean and the room plenty spacious with nice amenities such as coffee, tea, hot kettle, refrigerator and two free water bottles for your stay. Room service is great too, you can even order online. Many dining options close by, convenience stores, even a DIY laundry or two. Great city, great hotel, great value and great staff. I'd come back in a heartbeat!

We arrived early in the morning but they were able to check us in. The room and the bathroom are big and clean. The bed is comfortable. It's walkable to metro station and busses. The breakfast has variarities. Mostly, the staff were very friendly and helpful! My family had a great time staying in this hotel.

Our stay was really bad. When we found cockroaches the 2nd time, we made a complaint to the front-desk again and asked for a room change. The front-desk attendant, showing no sympathy at all, immediately excused that a room change could not be arranged because the hotel was full. We asked her for an acceptable solution but had to leave because of our scheduled visit. We came back at night and asked for an update. The front-desk attendant called someone to get an update, showing his sympathy, and then affirmed that we could change a room ANY TIME on the next day. In the morning of that day, we asked the front-desk attendant whom we made the complaint the details of the room change, which was supposed to be properly arranged. Once again, she was very straight, showing no sympathy at all (not even a smile), and said that the room change could only be arranged after noon, the official checkout time, rather than ANY TIME as committed. We mentioned that this was not possible as we had some arrangements. We were really doubtful that for a hotel with almost 100 rooms, there must be someone who checks out early. She neglected our doubt and simply suggested us to pack our stuff so that their staff members could move our stuff to the other room, without considering that travelers had tight schedules and could not spare time to pack and unpack. Without any acceptable solution, we had to stay in the same room, with cockroaches.

This is a great value, well run hotel that is well located and close to the Metro system. The rooms are so well thought out: socket next to the bed, huge window out to your personal patio (I was on 8th floor). Electric blind, well lit bathroom, fridge, tea and coffee. The team on reception were all very friendly and cheerful. And I got up late on one of my days, not leaving the room until 2pm - and my room was still made up. A pleasant surprise. Thank you Fenix! I will definitely come back.

Hotel is located next to a busy city street on a steep hill where 3 lanes of vehicles accelerate up or down the street all day and night. This makes it incredibly noisy - especially if you are on the 2nd floor facing the street. Bring earplugs and noise-canceling headphones and just know what you're in for. However, the location relative to the metro and various attractions of Lisbon was great. I really wish that they closed the street at night so I could get decent sleep. Otherwise, room was clean and staff was excellent.

This hotel is a hidden gem. Great value, beds and pillows were comfortable. Our King bed was even bigger than ours back home! The a/c worked well.. Hotel was very clean, great housekeeping..location is great! Breakfast was really good! Plenty to choose from. New items daily, hot and cold selections. Loved the coffee.. would recommend and stay here again.. only negative was shower was small, but they do have other rooms with a bathtub instead..

Not for someone with mobility issues. Entrance to the hotel is on a steep incline. There is a large broken sidewalk in front ot the entrance way making it hard to get in and out of taxis or cars in front ot he the hotel. The bathroom is large but the shower is inside a tub. The tub is so high I could not climb into it to take a shower.

Diana at the front desk was very helpful. The bedding was fantastic. Breakfast was included in a wonderful setting. Walk to #1 Hop on Bus was just 2-3 minutes. I highly recommend!

What an incredibly planned and lovely breakfast for your guests — Portuguese egg tarts, mini-crepes, juices, and so many thoughtful little touches! The room was gorgeous and spotless, and the bathroom beautifully clean. We had such a wonderful stay — we very highly recommend HF Fenix Garden! 🌿 (I’ll be sharing some photos where I’m able to — it’s too beautiful not to!)

The hotel is located in the center of Lisbon, within 5 to 10 minutes uber ride to many attractions in downtown. The condition of the hotel is good. I skipped the free breakfast because it has very little option and tastes very blend.
