The hotel was more than adequate. Location within walking distance to park/beach and downtown was ideal. The pool and surrounding area was very clean. There was a small bar area that set up in the evening off the lobby which was nice. The hotel itself had s a bit dated. I would think for the price we were charged for the night the owners would put a more modern touch on it. We have stayed here a few times, both in the summer and winter, and would probably stay and recommend to others.

This was an excellent property. The rooms were very clean and well appointed. The pool was wonderful and relaxing. The breakfast provided was very nice with fresh fruits, cereals, and a very nice hot bar. Very nicely situated close to shopping and restaurants. The staff was excellent, attentive and courteous. Located across the street from a small lake. Very pretty. However, picture a hotel built 60 years ago that still looks the same but doesn’t smell new anymore. Dark woods, dark carpets, musty smells as you open the hotel door, old old bathrooms, etc. The staff was good but you can only do so much. We brought a candle & even after lighting it the room still smelled musty.

Dingy & musty, long overdue for a complete remodel. If your campsite is rained out, your gear is soaked, and all you want is a dry bed, this is the place for you. Otherwise, you can do better. Barely squeaks a 2-star rating. A huge disappointment. (If you are hotel mgmt reading this, don't offer empty apologies. Actions speak louder than words.)

This location was ideal! Within walking distance of many points and places of interest. Overlooking the lake. One of the cleanest and friendliest hotels we've ever stayed at. I would highly recommend this location!

We paid extra to have a suite. We could not get either TV to work. Called the front desk. They told us to unplug and replug it in. Still did not work. Let the front desk know again in the morning. They said sorry.

The staff were very friendly, courteous, and helpful. The room was clean and was reasonably priced. Unfortunately, the bed was not good. It sagged, and I lost a lot of sleep and got quite a backache from it. The wooden furniture and the walls showed scuffs and chips and needed updating. The advertized lake view was really only a very partial lake view.

Overnight trip with 4 of our children. The room was spacious and comfortable for all of us. The hotel is older, floors a little squishy in spots, the doors very sticky BUT that was part of the charm as well. Loved the closet spaces, we didn't have to trip over our luggage and bags. Walls were somewhat freshly painted, room was clean. Hotel was quiet. Staff friendly. Pool area was well kept and clean, which seems to be harder to come by these days. We will definitely stay again when we return to the area to explore more.

We stayed on the first floor and that was a mistake. The room faced the front parking area and street. You can hear everything going on outside the window. There were workers staying there and they were having a bbq on the back lawn area and at around 9:30 they were dragging something that made a ton of noise on the black top right outside our window. It was loud enough to wake us up. Lesson learned, don’t book first floor rooms.

We arrived late at night after a very long drive. The hotel would not allow us to check-in to the pet-friendly room we had booked online as they had overbooked their pet friendly rooms and had nothing left that would accommodate our dog. The front desk person, Kayla, was very kind and would have checked us in but her offsite, off-duty manager refused. Kayla did call around, again, at 11:30 to try to find a room. Through some miracle, one hotel in town had an available room. If it had not, we would have had to sleep in our car because the Best Western would not budge. We were told it was a mistake on Hotels.com's part which seems illogical knowing that hotels can regulate their inventory with the app. The Hotels.com app showed clearly that the room was a pet friendly one by the way. It was a busy holiday weekend in a small resort town.

The Best Western Plus Concord Inn @ Minocqua, WI was a wonderful venue. Clean, good (free) breakfast and helpful staff! View of Lake Minocqua was beautiful, with Bald Eagles flying overhead every a.m. Highly recommend this location for ease of access, cleanliness and convenience.

Breakfast was limited and lacking variety. Suite only had very low chairs which were much too low for those with mobility limitations. Suggested to management that they replace the chairs with a suitable height love seat or sofa and ditch a cheesy fireplace which currently rules out that option. Seniors would welcome that change.
