It was a nice hotel in a nice place. The first few steps up to the hotel was not good. Most of the times there was someone present at reception but they were staying at the backside where you could not see them and you should call them to come. It would have been nicer to have a ring to use or if someone stayed there at the front all the time. It was clean and spacious.

Likely the most uncomfortable bed I have ever tried to sleep on. You have to haul your luggage up 2-3 flights of stairs to get to the elevator. Not disabled or HC friendly. Staff will help if you go up and ask, but there is no way to get to front desk assisted. Staff was very friendly and helpful, the facility is just not designed for xomfort or ease of access.

Climb up 8 steps to the outside heavy doors, struggle to open it and climb another 12 steps then 4 more up to the Lobby area. Stair carpets worn and 'duct taped'. Handrail on the stair non-existant. Room door lock was old fashioned key lock and difficult to open. Room was full of old 'brown' furniture. No A/C in the room. TV system was advertised as 'satellite' but many of the channels 'No connection' and all were German. Parking status should read as NONE. (2 days of parking around the block cost $80).

Great location. Next to a Christmas Market. Very clean and great bathroom! Old building but inside was quite nice. Near a busy street so we heard sirens often but didn’t affect sleep. You do need to go up stairs just to get in. Then there’s a lift to take you to your floor. Great place and value!

Nous avons séjourné du 26/12/22 au 5/1/23 dans cet hôtel. Les +++ : Hotel hyper bien situé dans Berlin, situation ultra -centrale et tous moyens de transports à proximité. Personnel globalement très sympathique et efficace, à votre écoute, pour toutes demandes, ou soucis Les chambres (certaines) sont très spacieuses.. Petit déjeuner, buffet, très correct pour le prix, avec un personnel hyper sympathique et dynamique Les - - - : Hotel ancien, ayant eut son "heure de gloire", et racheté depuis quelques temps par une chaine hotelière..... qui visiblement n'a pas encore réalisé tous les travaux de rénovation ou de remise aux gouts du jour !!!! TV non fonctionnelle dans notre chambre Literie déplorable et "très fatiguée" (chambre 350) Moquette usée et tachée... Le point ultra négatif : Si vous vous déplacez avec des cannes, ou, avec un fauteuil roulant, évitez absolument cet établissement.... En effet, il est totalement inadapté aux personnes ayant des difficultés de mobilité.... Un escalier d'une vingtaine de marches pour accéder à la réception et à l'ascensceur, (super pour monter la valise ) des marches pour accèder de la réception, à la salle de déjeuner......sur plusieurs palliers..... Autre point négatif, sur la durée de notre sejour (11 jours) les draps n'ont pas été changés !!!!!

But very poor lighting in my (single) room (except in the en suite) and no bedside table or lamp. There are several steps up before you reach the lift! Very quiet despite being on a very busy street.

We were able to book in early, because the room was available. The room we had was large. The decor is old, but that didn't bother us. The location is good. Getting to reception with heavy bags is not easy because of of the steep entrance steps

Utmerket beliggenhet (rett ved alt) og flott gammel bygning. Meget behjelpelig stab. Men det er et kjempeproblem at internettet deres er så elendig. Og tydeligvis har det vært slik lenge uten at noe gjøres.

Dit hotel, we zijn er al eens vaker geweest in het verleden, heeft iedere glans verloren. Jaren geleden was het al gedateerd. Dit is alleen maar erger geworden. Smoezelig, versleten, slecht onderhouden, veel is het niet meer. De badkamer was erg klein en onpraktisch. De deur kon op slot gedraaid worden met de sleutel, maar dat had weinig zin. Het betrof een dubbele deur waarvan de andere helft niet vast zat. Ook als de deur op slot was, was even duwen voldoende om beide deuren te openen. De tv was erg klein en had ongeveer vier zenders. Internet was gratis via een open verbinding. Maar zo ontzettend traag dat je er helemaal niets mee kon. De ontvangst was wel vriendelijk en het personeel tijdens het ontbijt ook.

Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt , Personal - freundlich und hilfsbereit , keine moderne Einrichtung , jedoch sehr gepflegt und sauber. Beim nächsten Trip nach Berlin würde ich sehr gerne wieder Acom Hotel buchen.

Das Personal war freundlich. Das Hotel an sich ist in den Zimmern sehr herunter gekommen , auch die Bäder . Zur Straße hin macht man kein Auge zu da es viel zu laut ist , auch das Fenster lies sich nicht richtig schließen . Frühstück war gut , war alles da .

pænt stort og roligt værelse på 4.sal.Centralt beliggende nær Zoologishe Garden station.Der var desværre i området mange lommetyverier udført af professionelle tricktyve fra østeuropa.I de 5 dage jeg boedede på hotellet blev der kun gjort rent een gang,hvor jeg måtte bede om det.Ellers var opholdet rimelig godt til prisen.

Leider war das Zimmer nicht sehr schön. Der Schrank war kaputt. Lose und kaputte Steckdosen. Sauberkeit war nicht so wie ich mir es vorstelle. Gardinen hatten Löcher. Die Wände waren teilweise mit einem Speckrand.

I would have given this hotel five stars, but the only reason I haven’t is that the furniture in the hotel room and decor were dated. Also, some of the furniture was a bit bashed and battered. In the ‘90s when the stuff was new it probably was absolutely great. Having said that though, the room was spotlessly clean, the bed and bedding very comfortable and the bathrooms also clean etc. my room was also huge, it really made a difference spending time in a larger room, I enjoyed having a small armchair and table to sit at and also really appreciated the fridge. The location was really faultless especially for the price!!! Great location. I really enjoyed my stay, thank you.

Insgesamt war alles ok, das Zimmer war sehr groß und trotz Nähe zum Ku-damm gut schallisoliert. Leider gibt es keine Minibar im Zimmer.

Ich habe das Zimmer wegen der Lage gebucht, denn es lag in der Nähe meiner Konzertlocation und zum Bahnhof Zoo. Den Preis fand ich schon recht teuer, hier habe ich sicher für die Lage Ecke Kudamm bezahlt. Zimmer für eine Nacht okay, aber sehr klein. Bad war i.o., außer der Abzug, der extrem laut war. Die Matraze war furchtbar, ich habe eine Feder gespürt und ansonsten hing die Matte durch.

Nous avons passé une semaine dans l'Hôtel Acom. Celui-ci est dans un bâtiment d'un ancien Hôtel de Luxe près du Zoo de Berlin. L'entrée impressionne par des colonnes en marbre et des peintures anciennes. On sent que l'Hôtel commence à dater par rapport aux standards récents (ex : pas de café/thé dans les chambres, baignoire, absence de clim) mais nous avons été satisfaits de la taille de la chambre, de la qualité de la literie et du calme général. Il est important de signaler que les prix sont bas donc très bon rapport qualité-prix.

Very basic accommodation. If it's only a place to get washed, changed and to get a sleep then this place is fine. No kettle, no phone but does have Wi-Fi throughout and a tv in the room. The accommodation is situated at an excellent and handy location for transport near the zoo and Kaiser Wilhelm Church.

Mysigt hotell med historia i väggarna. Perfekt läge för kollektivresor med busshållplatsen precis utanför, kürfurstendam tunnelbanestation 2min ifrån & stora zoologiska garten stationen som du kan ta dig vart du vill i hela berlin. Smidigt att ta sig till olympiastadion (konsert) Tryggt område Rummet var lite varmt men fanns fläkt så sov bra. Rent o fräscht & tysta rum. Några vänner hade rum ut mot gatan, det var inte likabra om man vill ha fönstret öppet & vill ha det tyst. Kommer bo här igen

Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt , Personal - freundlich und hilfsbereit , keine moderne Einrichtung , jedoch sehr gepflegt und sauber. Beim nächsten Trip nach Berlin würde ich sehr gerne wieder Acom Hotel buchen.

Hotel is great for the shops, Christmas markets and train station but it is quite dated. I asked for extra pillows but was told they had none. I asked when we checked in if we could have a late checkout and was told to ask again the day before we were due to leave but when I did this was informed it would cost 70 euros when the cost for a whole extra night was only 59 euros. I asked another staff member and paid 30 euros to extend checkout to 3pm which was a reasonable amount to pay.

Die Unterkunft ist ziemlich abgelebt, teilweise wird hier und da renoviert. Der Mitarbeiter am Empfang war sehr langsam und wirkte ein bisschen überfordert. Auf Nachfragen eines zweiten Kopfkissen und generell nach Zahnputzbechern, wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass es das in diesem Hotel nicht mehr gibt! Die Toilettenspülung war auch defekt. Der nächste Berlinbesuch nicht mehr in diesem Hotel!

The position, near the K'damm, is good. From the airport (BER) there is an easy journey on the S-bahn to Zoogarten (taking just under an hour, a train every 20 minutes) then a 4-minute walk to the hotel. The K'damm is excellent for restaurants and shopping. The hotel is run-down and needs a face-lift. My initial room had only two ceiling lights, badly positioned and one not working. The telephone also was defective. Happily I was able to move to a better room from day 2. Those who find stairs hard to negotiate should go elsewhere. Cleanliness is satisfactory. The only food served is breakfast. The cooked element is scrambled egg and sausages. This gets boring. But there is a passable cold selection. The reception staff are helpful and speak good English.

Ich war schon mehrmals im Azimut/Acom Hotel. Die Lage ist einmalig zum Shoppen und für Sightseeing Touren. Aufgrund der Nähe zum Bahnhof Zoo hat man super Anbindung zu öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln. Die Mitarbeiter sind suuper nett freundlich. Man wird herzlich "willkommen" geheissen. Ein einziger minus- Punkt ist mir aufgefallen. Das Zimmer würde sich über eine Renovierung freuen, die Gardinen haben länger keine Waschmaschine gesehen. 😃

pænt stort og roligt værelse på 4.sal.Centralt beliggende nær Zoologishe Garden station.Der var desværre i området mange lommetyverier udført af professionelle tricktyve fra østeuropa.I de 5 dage jeg boedede på hotellet blev der kun gjort rent een gang,hvor jeg måtte bede om det.Ellers var opholdet rimelig godt til prisen.

Great location. Next to a Christmas Market. Very clean and great bathroom! Old building but inside was quite nice. Near a busy street so we heard sirens often but didn’t affect sleep. You do need to go up stairs just to get in. Then there’s a lift to take you to your floor. Great place and value!

Nous avons séjourné du 26/12/22 au 5/1/23 dans cet hôtel. Les +++ : Hotel hyper bien situé dans Berlin, situation ultra -centrale et tous moyens de transports à proximité. Personnel globalement très sympathique et efficace, à votre écoute, pour toutes demandes, ou soucis Les chambres (certaines) sont très spacieuses.. Petit déjeuner, buffet, très correct pour le prix, avec un personnel hyper sympathique et dynamique Les - - - : Hotel ancien, ayant eut son "heure de gloire", et racheté depuis quelques temps par une chaine hotelière..... qui visiblement n'a pas encore réalisé tous les travaux de rénovation ou de remise aux gouts du jour !!!! TV non fonctionnelle dans notre chambre Literie déplorable et "très fatiguée" (chambre 350) Moquette usée et tachée... Le point ultra négatif : Si vous vous déplacez avec des cannes, ou, avec un fauteuil roulant, évitez absolument cet établissement.... En effet, il est totalement inadapté aux personnes ayant des difficultés de mobilité.... Un escalier d'une vingtaine de marches pour accéder à la réception et à l'ascensceur, (super pour monter la valise ) des marches pour accèder de la réception, à la salle de déjeuner......sur plusieurs palliers..... Autre point négatif, sur la durée de notre sejour (11 jours) les draps n'ont pas été changés !!!!!

Das Personal war freundlich. Das Hotel an sich ist in den Zimmern sehr herunter gekommen , auch die Bäder . Zur Straße hin macht man kein Auge zu da es viel zu laut ist , auch das Fenster lies sich nicht richtig schließen . Frühstück war gut , war alles da .

Das Hotel hat einen tollen Charme. Sehr zentral und ein gutes Frühstück. Das Zimmer in dem ich war hatte alles was man brauchte, sicherlich wäre aber eine kleine Sanierung auch sinnvoll um den Charme in den Zimmern weiter zu führen
Das Hotel hat einen tollen Charme. Sehr zentral und ein gutes Frühstück. Das Zimmer in dem ich war hatte alles was man brauchte, sicherlich wäre aber eine kleine Sanierung auch sinnvoll um den Charme in den Zimmern weiter zu führen

Good location. Close to Zoological Garten train station. Good stuff service. This is a hotel full of characters, our room was very clean. Bathroom was a bit small . No tea or coffee making facilities.

I would have given this hotel five stars, but the only reason I haven’t is that the furniture in the hotel room and decor were dated. Also, some of the furniture was a bit bashed and battered. In the ‘90s when the stuff was new it probably was absolutely great. Having said that though, the room was spotlessly clean, the bed and bedding very comfortable and the bathrooms also clean etc. my room was also huge, it really made a difference spending time in a larger room, I enjoyed having a small armchair and table to sit at and also really appreciated the fridge. The location was really faultless especially for the price!!! Great location. I really enjoyed my stay, thank you.
