The hotel was clean which i appreciate but very dated. During our stay the satellite was out so tv was limitied to 1 channel. The hotel store didn't have diet coke. The bar was out of Captain Morgan and Bud Light. The pool however, was very clean and well kept.

First kudos to VERY friendly and professional front desk associate (lady). This is an older property, but it has been maintained well. Room 101 is next to elevator (very nice front desk agent told me ahead of time), but I didn't notice any added noise. Although next to the highway, room was quiet. Bed and bedding were comfortable and in good condition. TV was decent quality with good selection for hotel (with 3 HBOs). Internet speed was above average. Shower has excellent water pressure and plenty of hot water. Workout room is two hotel rooms converted, but it works nicely. Fairly new equipment and everything works. Free weight dumbbells up to 40 pounds. Pool was clean and water temp was comfortable. Due to small pool area, they do not offer any lounge chairs. The only complaint I have is a lack of microwave. I always pack food for breakfast and was disappointed, but only slight inconvenience. Easy access to I-69 and PLENTY of food options within 5 minutes. Overall, very good stay

Wonderful, accommodating staff. Welcoming check in, great communication. Room was clean and comfortable. Large workout facility with nice equipment. I would give the facility five stars if the restaurant that was advertised as being open by Travelocity & the hotel itself were actually open! According to staff it has been closed since 2020. I had a couple of issues with my room and upon reporting them to the front desk they were immediately corrected by the friendly maintenance staff.

There was no water jug in the water cooler and there were crackers underneath the abdominal machine in the fitness room. There were no towels in the fitness room, and when I asked housekeeping for towels, I was told there weren't any. The woman I asked ended up giving me a body towel. She said there were towels by the pool, which was closed for maintenance.

Walking distance to fantastic food! Arvo's is so tasty, and a Kroger's if you need anything. Nice neighborhood, friendly staff, and super comfy bed! The outdoor pool was a bit chilly when I was there but I got a good swim!

This was a last minute booking. The hotel is fine. Location is fine. The checking in and checking out process was quick. Staff was very friendly. Parking was great. The rooms are not so great. Carpets are stained and look dirty. The bed looked like someone had slept in it. We then realized the sheets were clean, maybe someone was in a hurry to make the bed? It was an ok stay for a last minute trip.

This hotel is a dump! Floors where dirty like they havent been vacummed in days, and there was dry blood on the bathroom floor. I woke up this morning and stared at the ceiling and eww grossed, the dirt and cobwebs on the ceiling is disgusting.

This is the grossest hotel. First there was a horrible odor, the rooms do not ave blinds that close just sheer curtains that lets light in and people can see through. The sink in the bathroom did not have hot running water and the rugs and furniture are filthy. The toilet seat is cracked and chipped. The whole place is very worn.

The carpets in lobby, hallway and my room were covered with ugly nasty stains on top of the already dirty and grungy carpet. I have seen cleaner barns than this hotel. My bathroom had holes in the wall where I can only assume a makeup mirror once hung. For the money they charged over $250 per night was beyond a let done. The staff were actually wonderful and lobby area besides carpets was clean.

This hotel needs a renovation badly. The carpeting everywhere is old, worn out and stained. The area near the lobby elevators smelled so bad as did the hallways. The room was clean, but again, carpet was nasty. The shower curtain had mold on it. One great thing, the beds were so comfortable and the breakfast was very good for a hotel breakfast. The wait staff there were so incredibly nice. Another issue, they don’t clean the room or bring fresh towels unless you ask but they don’t tell you that at check in. They said it was in the room key holder but why can’t they just tell you that. Poor customer service with that issue. Overall, just ok. I won’t rush to go back. Too many other places to stay.

Visited my daughter at IU. Good location and nice staff, good cleaning crew... but my room has not been updated in years and just old looking. Room needed maintenance in areas. Overall it did the job.

Typical of the Holiday Inn Express’s I ve stayed at, room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Only drawback for me was no shampoo. All that was there was a small bar of soap. All the others stays either had small travel size bottle or the dispensers in the shower for body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Drains in the bathtub and sink were slow and never did get hot water from the sink faucet. Shower hot water was great! Would stay again but bring my own shower amenities.

This is a run down hotel. I was expecting better from a Holiday Inn. The ceiling has a crack running all down the room. The drywall tape was coming off. The shower was not draining properly. The toliet seat was discolored from just being old. It was very dirty between the mattress and the wall. The hallways smelt musty. The only good thing is that I didn't have any bed bug bites.

Nothing was unique. Overall, the property is quite dated. It felt like 2004, not 2024. Bath drain did not flow when showering. There was about 3" of water in tub after every shower. Carpet looked stained and worn in room. Staff was efficient and polite. I had to take my key back 3 times (from the 4th floor) to get it reprogrammed.

The room was horrible. The internet was spotty and we had no dish signal. The ceilings were peeling and had mold scattered across the peelings. The bathroom toilet leaked so it made the bathroom floor slippery. The tub didn’t have anything to grip to its bottom, which made it very slippery. Will not stay at this hotel again.

There was no phone number to hotel. Every number listed either just rang or was not a working number. They did not respond to me messaging them either I was trying to contact them to request early check in. So we just had to arrive in person and ask and was told no despite me being an IHG member. Then I wanted to pay the $50 deposit separately on a different card or even offered cash and they said no. The women working breakfast were extremely good. Comforters smelled. Good location for IU visit

Disappointed in my stay. Manager reached out 2 days in and asked how things were going….I responded, he said how can we improve, I responded…he did not. Stayed 4 nights and housekeeping did not come once, even after requested. Floors in lobby and hallways were very dirty and had not been cleaned over the 5 days I was there. My room was dirty and the air unit did not function properly. The shower was only a trickle of water and the fixtures were coming off the wall. Overall, unimpressed by this property.

The front desk employee was shockingly rude. When my husband went to get a roll of toilet paper, she questioned him as to why housekeeping didn't bring it. Earlier when the room was cleaned. I wentdown to the lobby to get water but the pitcher was empty. When i asked for more she said no-its only filled once a day. I asked to buy water and she said it was sold out. I then went back to the pitcher to the last few drops and she came over and took itfrom me. Our rug in the bedroom. Was also dirty. My husbands socks turned black on the bottom.

I cannot believe how incredibly rude the front desk person was. Housekeeping forgot to clean our room, so my husband went to the front desk to get toilet paper.The front desk clerk questioned him as to why he needed toilet paper and asked us why housekeeping didn't come to our room i needed water to take my meducine and the water pitcher in the lobby was empty . Upon arrival, we had a very low energy staff member assign our room. Upon walking to our room, there was somebody else already in it. We went back to report that somebody was in our room, and they originally told us they were booked, then after they went to visit the room, miraculously found another room for us. Overall, it was a very average stay.

Holiday Inn express usually has a pleasant, varied hot breakfast. This one had all breakfast foods in the refrigerator. It was serve yourself. No scrambled eggs or bacon or sausage or biscuits or gravy. Staff said they hadn’t had breakfast since Covid but this is 2024 and we are beyond Covid now. Clean property. I got the feeling that staff was college interns in the hospitality degree area. They are polite and courteous, but don’t know the usual facts that staff should know. I would not stay here again.

We stayed here for graduation weekend and I was very happy with the hotel and the service we received. I appreciated that the hotel did not require a 3 night minimum and didn't gouge the prices like many other hotels in the area. The service was very friendly. And a special shout out to the women that ran the breakfast buffet, they exemplified custoer relations - wonderful employees!

Great and convenient hotel! Just wish the bar area would have been open. The staff mentioned it hadn't been open back up since Covid! Looked like a fun spot to hang while waiting for our Uber if it would have been open. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

We had a nice stay. However, due to the restructuring of their services, the hotel did not provide breakfast as advertised. Perhaps they should have given a temporary discount on the room until they had their complimentary breakfast service back in place.

The breakfast was some items packed in a fridge sitting behind the reception desk. So you have to ask the desk person for the item you want to eat. Simply ridiculous!! The bar and restaurant always seemed to be closed. Every time I needed assistance from the reception person, I had to wait 2-5 minutes for her to show up.

This was a good, adorable stay. We were meeting family and the room was big enough for us to stay together and we felt safe. Beds were comfortable and clean. The pool was nice. Everything we wanted to do was close by. Would stay again!
