A few friends and I stayed here while in the area for a few activities. Your typical hotel. We expected a bit cleaner/ well maintained property for the price. It really does serve as a regular hotel, with nothing really standing out to make this place superior to other stays in the area for the same price. The extra charge per person for their breakfast you would normally receive included in similar hotels was disappointing. Definitely not an awful stay, but we did expect better standards for a Holiday Inn at this rate.

I would have given a higher review, but the cleaning crew knocked on our door 7:30 to potentially clean the room. That just seems too early to me. So if you stay here and don't want that early of a wake-up call, make sure you put your "do not disturb" sign on the door. The property is clean and in a good location. Nice amenities and the air conditioner works great (a key for me). I would stay here again for the very attractive price.

The room was clean, but had to call for housekeeping. I was staying for a week, so was kind of a bother to have to ask for more coffee, toilet paper, etc. I think if you are staying for more than a few days they should automatically give you more supplies. Bed was very comfortable.

Given the number of days I stayed here (10) I should have opted for a suite instead of a standard sized room. Granted since it was just me I managed, but it was still very cramped in there. Given how long I was staying there I would have preferred a full kitchen, but I managed somehow. Originally I looked at extended stay hotels in the area, but it ultimately came down to cost to me. I reserved my hotel room on hotels.com where I saved $250. When I arrived I was shocked to find out the difference between a Holiday Inn & an Express hotel. I was initially billed a $100 service fee for incidentials, but in reality this paid for breakfast every morning. Had I noticed the difference beforehand I would have reserved a room at the Express hotels instead. I'm not against paying for meals everyday, but I've always assumed they were included w/the room. Even at Express hotels they still have someone who makes eggs, sausages, bacon etc. & I'm sure those kitchens aren't that much bigger than the regular ones. While I appreciated this hotel had washer and dryers for guest to use one of the washers was broken the entire time I was there. Even with washing for one person it would have been nicer to be able to use to two washers to wash all of my clothes. While I tried using the gym I was disapponted how even on the coolest setting this room still felt super hot. In lieu of using this gym I went to Anytime Fitness.
