**Decent Budget Stay with Pet Perks, But Needs More Attention to Cleanliness** The Extended Stay America in Bethlehem served its purpose as a budget-petfedly option. The place is a little sketchy and run down, not that clean, and we saw a cockroach in our room. That said, it was among the cheapest options I could find, they were very chill about bringing a dog, and the beds were comfortable.

Nice and quiet hotel and quite the pet owners choice. Decent rooms with kitchenettes. Tthe only problem is the amount of roaches in the rooms . Our first room felt like invasion of an army. Second room had only few .. A simple door sealer strip / draft strip would probably take care of the free movement in the building problem.

Since this was only a one-night stay and we were tired and it was late we decided to stay but this hotel failed completely. The room was unclean and outdated, and the staff was unhelpful and rude. A deeply disappointing experience. Would not stay again.

We checked in to the hotel and were getting ready to go to an event when we found a bed bug on the mattress! When I went to speak with someone at the front desk to express our disgust and request to be checked out. The person at the desk didn't even seemed phased about the bed bugs. We were told we could leave and just communicate with the manager in the morning. It was horrible!

Room changed 3 times. First room: urine smell. Second room: roach, stains, filthy floor. 3rd room: burner not working, floor dirty. Utensils and cookware old and worn. The smell of the hotel was musty, and the floors were dirty from stairs, elevator and hallways. Staff was ready to accommodate the best they could.

The staff person at check in was excellent. The rooms however are very outdated and the kitchens are completely empty w zero supplies in them. Not a single dish. Theres a sign indicating you can “Customize” you kitchen, I gather by going to the front desk to request every single utensil you might want. And then carry it all up to your room? I gather they were out of coffee makers. It’s not a great set up. The staff are very nice and competent but they aren’t given much to work with!

I was told that the bed was a queen. It was not. I have a queen at home. This was at best a double. Mattress was terrible, hard and lumpy. Heater did not work. Had to move to this room after toilet in first room did not work. Got up early and left before we wanted to. Lousy hotel.

Our stay was good overall. The place had an odor to it, but I’m sensitive to that. The bed was uncomfortable. Mattress felt plastic like and lumpy. Room was clean and neat. If you need a place to prepare food, the kitchenette would be convenient to have. Staff we encountered at check in/out was pleasant and friendly. An inexpensive place to lay your head at night.

The room was clean. It was a hotel that was worn- needing a little updating. There was no hangers for our clothes and the tv remote was missing. Called the desk and someone promptly delivered one. The desk receptionist was not helpful. A lite breakfast was available until 9am but when we left at 845 there was no coffee. She said someone had drank the last of it and there was no more. The hotel was quiet and we slept well.

Everything was perfect except the bed. It was a bit hard and the pillows were not big enough for sleeping. They only give you three small pillows and I had to ask for more just to be able to rest my head comfortably.

The hotel was ok for what we needed it for. We were down for a Softball tournament and weren’t in the room that much. Room was clean when we arrived but didn’t get clean the rest of the time we were there (3 nights). We had to bring our dirty towels down to the front desk and pick up new ones. The refrigerator was old and the stove burners were rusty and didn’t look pleasing to use.

I was there for a concert and got there early. The lady behind the hotel desk was very courteous and kind. She was also very helpful with questions. I had asked her. The whole stuff that I had interacted with was very helpful and courteous. And very professional

Not a lot to love about this property. It’s pretty basic. Nice in the outside, very minimalist on the inside. Front desk is a nightmare. Never anyone there, not even a service bell. I had to call the front desk from an outside line to get them to help me check in. Room was modern and stocked with towels. If you want more towels (I did after 3 days with no maid service) you have to present your dirty laundry to the front desk (if they’re there) to receive fresh towels. I get it, people steal things. The breakfast was very disappointing. There were two pump canisters: one of coffee, one of water, which were hot water for tea, and coffee only. Their “grab and go breakfast” consisted of cereal bars and packaged muffins. This small buffet was barely 3 feet wide, and located in the lobby by the door. It was a bad location. One morning I came down and there were 12 people trying to grab coffee and such. Overall it was a clean and quiet property however the maids tend to chitchat in the halls very loudly amongst each other well into the afternoon so if you wanna sleep in, don't. I am serve several shady individuals making exchanges in the parking lot and license plates from several sates that came and went: New York , New Jersey etc. Also observed women in various states of undress knocking on doors in hallways, a sign of prostitution. This property is recommended for a male business traveler with a vehicle. This way he can drive to eat nearby.

The desk attendant was rude. And there was no coffee maker in the room.. when I asked about it. She was very rude although she did get me one. There was also not any silverware or plates or anything like this, and this was supposed to be a fully stocked kitchen.

Prices were extremely reasonable and you can't beat the location with several options for food and other items only a few minutes away. The check-in and out process was quick and easy. It would be nice to have a coffee maker in the room but overall I enjoyed my stay and will book again when back in the area.

Bethelehem and Allentown are not a great area. Extended stay had very strange and homeless people hanging around front of the building, smoking upon entrance and yelling to each other. The AC was cold, rooms were clean, but its dated and beds are small. Staff seems disinterested in greeting or working.

They”breakfast and laundry” that is advertised is nothing like you would expect. Our entire floor stuck and the elevator doesn’t work sometimes.
