Good boutique hotel ideally located for exploring the city’s bars, restaurants and shops. The rooftop garden is a big plus. The room was on the compact side, but had good amenities and the reception staff were always friendly and attentive. Would stay here again

We stayed at the for four nights and loved every minute! The hotel is in an excellent location in the heat of the theatre district. It is surrounded by excellent restaurants, bars and cafes. The nearby parking was easy to access and there is plenty of on-street parking you can utilise to drop off your bags. The hotel staff were lovely and accomodating. The hotel also offers a complimentary drinks hour between 5-6pm in the hotel lobby. We will definitely stay here again!

Parking is in a public pay station over 1 block away . Access via an alley - very unsafe and a real hassle when carrying all you things in and out of hotel.

Location is great. The price was right and good for that time of the week. Parking location was hard to find even though it was only a short distance away. Staff were very friendly. Only issue is this requirement for a physical credit cards. Whats wrong with a digital one in this day and age of tech.

Beautiful clean room and super comfy bed. Hosted hour was a real welcome bonus. Unfortunately the fitness centre was tiny and poorly equipped however there was complimentary access to a mainstream gym approximately 8 minutes walk away

We enjoyed our brief stay at the Lancemore Crossley St. We were greeted and welcomed by the front of house staff and had the parking explained to us. The bed was super comfy, as were the pillows. While the bathroom was very small, it was beautifully clean and stocked with lovely toiletries.

Very convenient location, quiet at night but our room was not serviced . We were just given some towels and toiletries. We asked to have the wine glasses changed when we left for dinner but this did not happen. Annoying having to reconnect to wifi very time we return to hotel

The staff were very courteous and efficient and the room was spotlessly clean. However, you could hear (loud) the tv on in a neighbouring room, the footsteps in the room above us and also conversations in the corridor of the hotel. We were on level one so you could hear everything outside too. I’m thankful that we were staying on a Monday night and not a weekend. Overall a lovely hotel, just a shame that there doesn’t appear to be any soundproofing.

In general, the staff is excellent and helpful. We have not used parking. The only negative side is the cleaning service - usually it's late, really late. Sometimes there is a notice that we had put the wrong card at the door (we had not).

The air conditioning was so loud that I couldn’t sleep at all. Although the hotel advertises itself as 5-star, the actual condition of the room felt more like a 3-star motel. The overall cleanliness was disappointing, the amenities were completely outdated, and the bedding had an unpleasant smell — especially the pillows, which clearly carried the scent of the previous guest. It really felt like the linens hadn’t been changed properly. A very disappointing stay overall.

I initially chose the Lancemore due to its location, price and cleanliness. On arrival I was not disappointed, the quality and cleanliness of the rooms matched the online pictures and the room was spacious and immaculately clean. I will definitely stay there again during my next visit.

For a 4 star place the cleaning wasn’t great of the rooms each day. Found one staff on their personal phone while cleaning the room. They also didn’t change sheets when I dropped some food on it. Didn’t remove dirty wine glass for a couple days. On arrival in the room was dusty. Reception staff were amazing.

The aircon in room was very noisy. Got a change of room and had the same issue. Informed the receptionist and was told the hotel is in full capacity and non-committal. Had to switch off the aircon both nights, very uncomfortable sleeps. During checkout, the receptionist is more apologetic and offered wine for compensation due to 3rd party booking. Checked previous reviews, many had similar issues with noisy aircon!!

We stayed in a junior suite and it was perfect for us — spacious, spotless, and really comfortable. The staff were so helpful and the location is super central, close to everything. The only thing I’d change next time is to book a room on a higher floor, as ours didn’t get much natural light. Overall, a great stay!

This property whilst is in a convenient area is very noisy. Our room faced Little Bourke street and we heard every conversation, truck, car etc. No double glazing. Added to the noise was a relentless tick coming from the ceiling and the air conditioning was so loud it had to be turned off. We did request a room change which was accommodated. The outdoor space was very tired.

Parking too far away, air conditioning needed maintenance as it was very loud on our first night, given wrong info about our breakfast on the first day a reception staff member telling us it wasn’t included when we had already paid. Asked again that night and we were told that the staff member had made a mistake. Staff need more training or need to be more diligent.

As soon as we entered the lobby and rolled up to the front desk, we were warmly welcomed by Kristina. Despite being slightly early for check-in, Kristina cheerfully informed us that our room was ready. We were most grateful to be able to freshen up after a long overnight flight to Melbourne. Check-in and registration process was effortless, as with check-out. The decor in the lobby and lifts was refreshingly pleasant, thematically appropriate with the theatre area of CBD. Room was spacious, clean with a modern yet cosy feel. Bathroom/dressing and sleeping areas were separated by a TV wall, which gave a comfortable sense of privacy in each of both areas. Clean bedding and linens gave us 3 restful nights at this hotel. In the cosy lobby, the hosted hour 5-6pm gave opportunity to sample award winning wines from Lancemore's Lindenderry wine estate, and a happy way to ease into dinner plans! Location of Lancemore Crossley St is convenient. Abundant variety of dining and shopping options within short walking distances. Nearest free tram stop is 3 mins walk away, giving easy and fast access to Southern Cross Station as the hub for regional travel and Skybus to airport, and convenient connectivity on other tram routes beyond free tram zone in Melbourne CBD. We will be happy to stay here again when we next visit Melbourne.

It's in between 2 theatre venues (Her Majesty on Exhibition St & Princess on Spring St) Chinatown, lots of popular eateries, bars, Parliament House nearby, parks, Parliament train station, trams that go to other suburbs & in & around the cbd area, St Patrick's Cathedral, Exhibition Building, lots of hotel with lovely restaurants in them for drinks & snacks, high tea & just too many other things to mention!

Conveniently located near Her Majesty’s Theatre, and only a few minutes walk through China town to the CBD. We booked the penthouse two bedroom, both had kind beds which was perfect for my family. It is really hard to find two bedrooms at a decent price, that is not an apartment. It was a nice central location to cafes and restaurants. The room was clean and mini bar and refreshments were of good variety. The breakfast options were good too, but it is ideal to come down at 7am rather than leave it to peak hour, as you will be waiting. We had no plans though, so we were happy to wait. It could have also been due to being Easter holidays most were wanting to eat in. Overall, a nice stay.

Our family of 4 stayed 2 nights to see Harry Potter. This is the perfect location for theatre goers as it is literally a stones throw away from both the Princess and Her Majesty’s. The family room was ideal for us with separation between the two rooms. The happy hour was a nice addition and thanks to the staff for accommodating my sons request for apple juice.

Very friendly staff, magnificent location, the most comfortable bed and pillows, and an interesting ‘serviced hour’ where you can get a free drink. This is a nice touch and creates a sense of community in the hotel. The hotel staff were also very helpful in providing ideas and recommendations.
