Hotel Leo Station et Annexes

Parking in the back was a little strange and it had three locations but the inside restaurant was AMAZING!!

Great place to stay in the heart of the town. Very close to the museums, cafes and shops. A great restaurant is attached to the hotel. Can recommend a stay here. We would return if we revisit Bastogne. Also has its own car park.

Location: Excellent—right on the main square with plenty of restaurants nearby. Parking available at the back of the hotel. Room: We stayed in the main hotel (not the annex), which appears newly renovated. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a quirky bathroom window overlooking the main room. Dining: Breakfast was quite expensive, so we opted to eat elsewhere, though the on-site restaurant is well reviewed and popular. Notes: Great base for exploring Bastogne; would stay again for the location and comfort.

Rooms are very clean and modern. Located in the heart of Bastogne with a Michelin Star restaurant attached. Parking is easy, security is good electronic cards required to open/use elevator.

Vi fick ett rum i ett annex till hotellet. Tre trappor upp utan hiss. Måttligt roligt att släpa upp väskorna. Annars var sllt jättebra!

I stayed in the "annex". You check in at the main "Wagon Leo", which is 2 doors down. You get a key, key card and a code for the front door, and a code for the back door. The key opens the room door. The key card goes in a reader inside the room, and that activates the electricity in the room. No card, no electricity. Nice big room, but the stairs are narrow and not well lit. Bathroom is huge. The parking lot behind the building is gravel and has huge potholes. Not ideal if you\'re traveling by motorcycle, as I am. Entering the back door takes you through the main Wagon Leo area, then you go out the front, and down two doors to the annex. Overall, I\'d give it a 7.5 out of 10.

Room was very clean and spacious, hotel staff very helpful. If you are staying in the annexes, be aware that there is no elevator, and in our case, we had to climb 3 flights of stairs with luggage (and no assistance). Also, there is no shower, just a tub with a handheld sprayer.

The room had a bad smell which would not go, reminiscent of a hospital. The room was shabby but definitely not chic. The beds were old and lumpy. Very basic. The breakfast was ok but expensive.

The hotel management allowed me to check-in early which helps. I also got assistance on bus and train schedules to La Glieze, a nearby village; and on to Ettelbruck. My room is located in a separate building, which was fine with me. However, the stairwell and hallway lighting is nil or very low. In addition, my room is not provided with an electronic card-key. Inserting a metal-plate key into the key-slot in darkness was a challenge. Besides this flaw, everything is acceptable to me including the bath-tub and the room cleaning service (which is excellent). I had dinner at the hotel (Wagon Leo). The pork-shank is excellent. I bought two breakfast buffets. The breakfast buffet is excellent as well. I particularly like the cakes and smoke salmon.

Our room felt like a dungeon! It was a handicap room and we are both athletes! The smell made me sneeze until I open up our door to the hall which was the foyer of the hotel! Yuck So glad we were only staying 1 NIGHT! The room definitely did not look like the pictures I was shown on the Internet! So miss leading!!!! My my spouse said we’re only here for one night and we never have to come back, thank goodness!

Parking was great once we found it. Hotel is very clean and modern. Wonderful stay!

What a lovely hotel! We loved our room with the bubble bath and italian shower. It was neat, clean and quiet. Even tho it is located at the main street, the windows are well isolated so you don’t hear anything. Loved this place!

The first room we stayed in was in an old building next to the main hotel and faced the main road. It was not double glazed and there was a lot of noise - the description of the room we booked said it was a "sound-proofed room". The decor of the room did not match the photo of the room we booked on the hotels.com website. There was a bedside lamp with no shade. One morning the hot water in the building was not working. The staff were helpful when this happened and moved us to a new room.

I really wish it had been a better experience. The photos shown are nothing like what we found, and this should be stated on the website, since there are two very different buildings. We had to walk up four flights of stairs because there’s no elevator. The room I booked looked like it hadn’t been maintained in decades. My husband tried adjusting the temperature and the control came off the wall and the humidity smell was strong. We went to reception to request an upgrade because the room was not what we expected. Thankfully, the receptionist helped us move to another building/room, much better than the first one. He even said this “always happens,” and many guests switch buildings for the same reason — meaning it’s a frequent issue. So be careful when booking. As for service: I know English isn’t the main language in the area, but hotel staff should at least know basic English. We speak Spanish and English, and it would’ve helped a lot. The housekeeper assigned to our room was rude. I asked if we could enter since she had just finished cleaning and the floor was still wet. She said “no English” and started speaking French. I politely asked if she spoke English or Spanish, and she shrugged in a dismissive way, ignoring me. The only kind person was the lady in charge of breakfast. Breakfast was very good, and that’s why I’m giving 3 stars instead of 2. They need to improve their service and clearly explain the difference between the hotel and the annex.

Absolutely charming restaurant that started out as rail cars. Displays of history without feeling touristy. My room was immaculate and nicely done: excellent shower pressure! I think the hotel was added to what was just the rail cars, maybe perhaps the war may have demolished what was standing, not sure. But I recommend it, and the War museum is minutes away by car.

The reception was excellent and very helpful. We enjoyed the hotel and breakfasts. Also, enjoyed our expensive dinner at the hotel restaurant. However, our room and bath had very bad lighting. More lighting would be appreciated.

Staff was unusually friendly and helpful checking us in and assisting us getting into the room Plus, getting us oriented for dinnerr.

The hotel itself was nice enough. The desk staff was nonexistent my entire stay. The area around the hotel is okay, but the building itself has no soundproofing. You hear everyone coming and going.

Staff was very attentive and the restaurant food was very good with superior service

My disabled son was not allowed to sit in the public dining during breakfast buffet the first morning and the host moved him out of public view into a conference room alone with no lights on or table settings. The next day we were told not to sit in same room. They do not have accessible anything in the room they stick us in, and the last night we could not sleep due to noise from outside window I have video of. Rude to disabled that they did not want other guests to see in public the first day. Boudin employee was the lady on Tuesday morning that was offended by my son’s disability.

At night there were several occasions where people were screaming and partying outside. This hotel is close to the centrum/market place of the town. Rest was good, breakfast was great and the staff was very friendly.

Wunderbares Hotel auf der Heimreise. Die von Hotels.com zum niedrigsten Preis angebotenen Doppelzimmer befinden sich allerdings nicht im gleichen modernen Gebäude mit Restaurant. Das Restaurant ist sehr gut ( 1 Stern Gault Millau).
