Yall need to be better I tracking vehicles parked there I got stuck in the parking lot loop twice due to people parking oversized vehicles. 1000% sure it would not meet fire code. If my suv couldn’t fit through it no way a fire truck would. I almost missed my flight.

Great location on State street with excellent parking and walking to multiple restaurants and shoppers and Downtown to marina all within minutes. Very clean and comfy room with very comfortable bed. Very no frills but great value with low price. I felt very safe and staff was super friendly! Jesus checked us in quickly and gave us choice of rooms which was nice as I prefer ground floor. Air conditioning works great and bathroom was clean and shower was great pressure with hot water! I would stay again!

You know I’ve seen a lot of motel sixes throughout my life. This has to be the worst one I’ve ever stayed off. The floors were filthy. We stepped out of our stepped onto the floor and looked at our feet and they were dirty from the floor. Do they ever mop place? One of the reasons that we chose this is because they had a pool. The problem the stupid lady at the front desk wouldn’t open it. I went there in the morning to ask what time they open the pool cause I wanted to catch a quick swim she said nine 3930 came. It was still locked. I went and asked her she wouldn’t get off herchair walk 30 steps to unlock the pool gate. I waited and waited by 2 o’clock. It was too late. Your attitude was the worst attitude I’ve ever seen anybody have a hotel absolutely should be replaced. But it is a motel six so what should I expect. Do yourself a favor. Find another place to stay and spend a few more bucks.

I heard this was the 2nd Motel 6 ever. That’s cool. The place was alright. Staff were friendly. There were places to eat very near by. Parking was a little tight. The thing that turned me off from this place was the smell in the rooms. Kind of like industrial cleaners and mold. I had to air the room out every time I came back to it. It was almost so bad that I was about to leave. After the first few days, I got use to it and everything was fine, but it just smelled off. Again, it made sleeping and eating in the room almost impossible unless you aired it out for an hour or two. Value seemed solid, and like I said, the staff were friendly. I would not come back, unless I had to though.

Very expensive for a tiny dirty room. The floor appeared clean. However, my toddlers feet were black within minutes. Tried to wipe the floor, both towels were totally black. The bathroom smelled like burping sewer.

We got there at 8pm and we needed help to carry our cases upstairs. Elizebeth was helpful and carried them for us. Next I ck the bed and the sheets have a large discolored area on them. Elizebeth brings new sheets and that’s when we found the mattress cover had blood on it. The cleaning staff needs to be monitored as this is just laziness and most disturbing. Elizabeth did the best she could with no other staff available. I was offered 20% back at the hotel. That was it nothing more. Hotel.com could take responsibility and adjust that small refund but no that didn’t happen.

Rating it as a Motel 6, it's a 10/10. It was super clean, staff was friendly and the surrounding area offered everything we needed (a Gelson's on the corner and many restaurants). Just a few minutes from the wharf, its a great option for the area. It is a Motel 6 and it's in a commercial area, but the rooms specifically were perfect. CLEAN and had all the basics we needed for a good night's sleep. It was a holiday weekend and I was hoping we wouldn't have any partiers keeping us up. It turned out to be very quiet and comfortable. There's a small pool (we didn't use it, but it looked clean and inviting). Would definitely stay here again on a future visit to Santa Barbara.

We really enjoyed staying at this hotel but the only bad thing is that our room had a lot of mold and the windows wouldn’t open to get fresh air inside. Definitely need a better way to solve this mold problem. Mold is very dangerous to our health.

Our stay was OK. About what you expect from a Motel 6. No frills, thin towels, etc. The air conditioner was very noisy and the room seemed humid. The location of the Motel is excellent and very walkable to food, drink, and shopping.

Room was charged $200 per night and for my surprise found it to be 10 ft * 10 ft room. There are no cupboards, drawers and storage space. No microwave or fridge or hair dryer. Surprisingly telephone and Wi-Fi not working. So checked out after one day.

The room was clean and updated but the outside lights were ridiculously bright and right outside the window. At all hours of the night it felt as if the sun was up even with the curtains drawn. This might not have beens so noticeable on the first floor, but definitely don’t request the second floor. Other than that the stay was fine for a budget room.

Easily the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever slept in, and I’ve stayed in $10 a night hotels in rural China. The air conditioning made a terrible racket. But it’s in Santa Barbara, and it’s a weekend in July, so almost $300 a night. For the most basic of rooms. An uncomfortable bed made of worn springs, a noisy AC unit, and a basic bathroom with okay water pressure (but plenty of hot water).

Every other Motel 6 I've stayed was kind enough to offer an early check-in when possible. The guy at the reception really didn't want to be there, he could barely compose a sentence, but could say it properly that would cost me US$ 50 for a 30-minute earlier entrance. There was a cockroach in the bathroom and the staff is not friendly.

All the features of this property that cause it to be poorly valued are "add-on" features like facial tissue, mircowave, shampoo, hair dryer, continental breakfast (all missing). But the essential things like flooring (wood, not carpeting), decorations, finish and cleanliness, parking, pool, bed comfort, furniture convenience, TV access, neighborhood shopping and restaurant quality -- those things were outstanding. Whole Foods is just 2-3 blocks away, as well as several fine dining and casual restaurants. Check out Rudy's and La Unica for casual Mexican, Tee Off for reasonable fine dining.

We had a nice stay. However some noisy neighbors were a problem but this was no fault of the motel. They staff was helpful and pleasant and we enjoyed the morning coffee provided at 0600. It was a nice area and I recommend the Farmer Boy restaurant just a block walk away. For a budget motel it was everything I expected.

This was our second Motel 6 and it was OK. Rooms weren’t very big but the air con was pretty good. Bathroom was ok. Room was pretty good value for money and we found a great brewery around the corner and a Korean BBQ place.
