Fantastic location and view. This hotel is ideal for a short stay break. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and received a bottle of wine from the hotel which was a touch of class. Breakfast was very good and the pool area was immaculate.

Die Feuchtigkeit in dem Zimmer war relativ hoch deswegen finde ich das nicht so sauber wegen nassen Boden und feuchten Geruch. Die Klimaanlage bzw. das Luftfiltersystem muss in dieser Situation verbessert werden. Darüber hinaus gibt es drei Aufzüge, von denen jedoch nur einer funktioniert, sodass sowohl für Kunden als auch für das Personal lange Wartezeiten entstehen.
Die Feuchtigkeit in dem Zimmer war relativ hoch deswegen finde ich das nicht so sauber wegen nassen Boden und feuchten Geruch. Die Klimaanlage bzw. das Luftfiltersystem muss in dieser Situation verbessert werden. Breakfast choices are plenty and food is good. Staffs are very helpful. Room is clean. The best part for our stay is you can comfortably lounging around by the swimming pool all day, and have a dip into the sea whenever you like.

I had a lively stay at this hotel. Room was beautiful and modern and very spacious which was great. Pool could use an update. Restaurants and cafes in hotel were also great. I personally prefer Sliema to stay in Malta as it is a bit quieter. If you are looking to be in amongst the night life this is a great place to stay as it is in the heart of st Julian’s

2 elevators was in use. 1 i didnt even dare to go on, because when it opened, it wasnt even level with the floor, by far. The other had some kind of malfunction, and started to stop on every floor, before reaching the desired floor. Fix those elevators. Got told this has been like this since september. Food was ok, cutlery and napkins should always be the same place every morning. The customer doesnt need to go an extra round to find it. Room was nice and clean. Shower could use more power from water. The placement of the hotel is also very nice.

L'albergo era praticamente in ristrutturazione. La camera aveva un condizionatore rumoroso e il controller funzionava male. Solo dopo parecchi tentativi sono riuscito a spegnerlo ma poi non è stato più possibile riaccenderlo. Fortunatamente la temperatura andava abbastanza bene. Il lavandino del bagno aveva rubinetti fissati male. Cavi a vista dietro il mobilio decisamente brutti da vedersi. La fitness room era praticamente omeopatica, già in due era impossibile da usarsi e per giunta senza neppure un treadmill. Infine per avere una fattura con il nome dell'azienda al checkout ho dovuto discutere a lungo nonostante avessi già pagato al check in. Inoltre al mattino alle 8 una sola persona alla reception quando tipicamente la gente esce e deve fare checkout è intollerabile.

Out stay was brilliant but they are currently refurbing the rooms. We were in an older style room, the bedroom was pretty good but the bathroom was very dated and basic...All still good and clean though. Staff very helpful, breakfast excellent and pool area with indoor and outdoor pools was lovely. Great location, was made by having a seaview. I wouldn't hesitate to come back.

Ho prenotato una camera superior vista mare al 7 piano, panorama incantevole. Colazione abbondante sia dolce che salata , da migliorare la qualità di latte e caffe servito da distributori automatici e si può migliorare anche la qualità del cibo a mio avviso. L’hotel è pulito , c’erano dei lavori di manutenzione e forse per questo dal bagno si percepiva un brutto odore. Avevamo un vicino rumoroso, camere non insonorizzate? La piscina interna aveva appena 3 lettini in legno , a causa dell’acqua fredda non abbiamo potuto fare il bagno. I teli doccia sono piccoli , comodo il bollitore di acqua in camera con mini dotazione di caffe e the , solo il primo giorno 2 bottiglie acqua gratis , un frigo vuoto e a disposizione. Pagato 50€ il late checkout, un po troppo considerando l’ottimo prezzo della camera per notte.

Lovely hotel in a quieter part of St Julian’s but still a walking distance to all the amenities, restaurants cafes and shops. Our room had an amazing view over the marina which is part of Portomaso area (highly recommend visiting). We had a refurbished room on 6th floor which was spacious and cleaned daily apart from the first couple of days when cleaning was not done and we had to ask the cleaning ladies to give us fresh towels and empty the bins (not sure what the initial issue was but once sorted room was always cleaned). Breakfast was lovely with lots of options for cold and hot meals including a selection of fruit and pastries which they used to change every day or so. Also there was a chef making omelets with different fillings on request. Reception staff was very helpful and friendly, gave us tips and suggestions. The lifts are super hot and small so sometimes you need to wait for another one as it was already packed. The views from the pool area over the bay were great and my son also enjoyed swimming in the indoor pool a lot as the main pool outside had salty sea water which irritated his skin. We had a couple of noisy smoking music playing neighbours on our floor but that’s not the hotels fault as this area attracts many young visitors who come to Julian’s to experience it’s night life and come back to their rooms in early hours feeling merry. If you want a really quiet break I would not recommend staying here. Overall a great hotel, would stay again!

Room; main door broken, balcony door unlockable, air conditioning inoperative, floor surface lifting and damp,lighting units inoperative, curtains threadbare and torn, blown double glazed units in balcony's doors. Restaurant; like a building site with unfinished ceiling throughout, exposed wiring and air-conditioning ducts, cheap,noisy furnishing. Lifts; 1 serviceable lift servicing 400 plus rooms on 7 floors, that got stuck 3 times, old lift shaft covered by plywood nailed to wall. Security; local youths accessing hotel grounds by climbing over wall unchallenged, had to constantly watch possessions whilst in pool.

amazing breakfast options including gluten free , cooked, sweet pastries and lovely staff all round - specifically a friendly chef in the restaurant area who advised of us places to go (unfortunately can’t remember his name!) They let us check in earlier and prioritised our room getting cleaned to do so. Also stored our luggage for early check in and also on our last day which was super helpful and convenient. They provide towels for sunbeds and cleaning/ room service was spotless no issues. The only issue we ran into was our room door wouldn’t lock but they fixed this very quickly on the same day. Also there’s a safe in the rooms for valuables. The rooms and beds are large and great size balcony comes with a mini fridge. The only feedback I’d say is the bottom of our bathroom door was water damaged from where water leaks out from the walk in shower, so it didn’t close properly! But apart from that the bathroom was great, towels can be replaced daily and no major concerns :)

The property is fine and with great views across the bay. The main disappointment is how basic the room was. There was no bedside furniture so watches, glasses, phones etc had to sit on the floor. The wardrobes were open with no doors and one side of it even had no shelves or rail so was useless for anything. Even the bathroom had nowhere to put the soap other than leave it in the sink. The large shower cubicle with the open end looked trendyuntil you used it and the water slowly flooded the room. We then realised why the bottom of the bathroom door was black and warped! Definitely at best a three star hotel.

Nel complesso è una ottima scelta, ma se andiamo a vedere la stanza, parlo per quella del primo piano, beh lì c’è ancora molto da fare!!non era come la descrizione della foto, molto vecchia come stile e mobilio, il bagno poi, senza ventola, muffa, quando fai la doccia si bagna il pavimento, la porta rigonfia è scollata, mattonelle scheggiate, insomma proprio no!!! Per un quattro stelle e per il prezzo pagato! Overall it is a great choice, but if we go to see the room, I speak for the one on the first floor, well there is still a lot to do!! It was not like the description in the photo, very old in style and furniture, the bathroom then, without a fan, mold, when you take a shower the floor gets wet, the swollen door is unglued, chipped tiles, in short just not!!! For a four star hotel and for the price paid!

Ho prenotato una camera superior vista mare al 7 piano, panorama incantevole. Colazione abbondante sia dolce che salata , da migliorare la qualità di latte e caffe servito da distributori automatici e si può migliorare anche la qualità del cibo a mio avviso. L’hotel è pulito , c’erano dei lavori di manutenzione e forse per questo dal bagno si percepiva un brutto odore. Avevamo un vicino rumoroso, camere non insonorizzate? Lovely hotel in a quieter part of St Julian’s but still a walking distance to all the amenities, restaurants cafes and shops. Our room had an amazing view over the marina which is part of Portomaso area (highly recommend visiting). We had a refurbished room on 6th floor which was spacious and cleaned daily apart from the first couple of days when cleaning was not done and we had to ask the cleaning ladies to give us fresh towels and empty the bins (not sure what the initial issue was but once sorted room was always cleaned). Breakfast was lovely with lots of options for cold and hot meals including a selection of fruit and pastries which they used to change every day or so. Also there was a chef making omelets with different fillings on request. Reception staff was very helpful and friendly, gave us tips and suggestions. The lifts are super hot and small so sometimes you need to wait for another one as it was already packed. The views from the pool area over the bay were great and my son also enjoyed swimming in the indoor pool a lot as the main pool outside had salty sea water which irritated his skin. We had a couple of noisy smoking music playing neighbours on our floor but that’s not the hotels fault as this area attracts many young visitors who come to Julian’s to experience it’s night life and come back to their rooms in early hours feeling merry. If you want a really quiet break I would not recommend staying here. Overall a great hotel, would stay again!

The 1 start review is for the Manager on duty, between Aug 20th and Aug 22nd, 2025, when I stayed here. I checked in around 14:00, and as a Expedia Platinum member for years, I thought I get some good service and a good room, which most hotels I stay at around the world provides. But no, not here. I got a room on the first floor right above the lobby facing the street where the taxis drop off. Tried to take a late afternoon nap because I was jet lagged but couldn't due to the noice. Went down to request a room change from the front desk staff, I asked to speak to the manager. The manager refused to come out to speak to me. I went 3 times that same day, to request another room and to speak to the manger, each time, the staff went to the back office and came back, the manager was busy. Also did the same on the second day, Aug 21st, but no, the manager too busy. Absolute terrible customer service. If the manager doesn't dare to face its paying customers, perhaps the hospitality industry is not for you. I hope your boss will read this and send you back to the mailroom where you belong. For the room, they are old, cheap small sheets that don't even cover the bed, so you wake up touching the old mattress. Super old wooden closet, where the door was broken. The pool is nice, the restaurant food was very basic and bland without flavor. Big plus however for a very impressive breakfast buffet. The hotel is in a good area, also a good plus. Honest review this.

Fantastic location and view. This hotel is ideal for a short stay break. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and received a bottle of wine from the hotel which was a touch of class. Breakfast was very good and the pool area was immaculate.

The property is fine and with great views across the bay. The main disappointment is how basic the room was. There was no bedside furniture so watches, glasses, phones etc had to sit on the floor. The wardrobes were open with no doors and one side of it even had no shelves or rail so was useless for anything. Even the bathroom had nowhere to put the soap other than leave it in the sink. The large shower cubicle with the open end looked trendyuntil you used it and the water slowly flooded the room. We then realised why the bottom of the bathroom door was black and warped! Definitely at best a three star hotel.

Out stay was brilliant but they are currently refurbing the rooms. We were in an older style room, the bedroom was pretty good but the bathroom was very dated and basic...All still good and clean though. Staff very helpful, breakfast excellent and pool area with indoor and outdoor pools was lovely. Great location, was made by having a seaview. I wouldn't hesitate to come back.

amazing breakfast options including gluten free , cooked, sweet pastries and lovely staff all round - specifically a friendly chef in the restaurant area who advised of us places to go (unfortunately can’t remember his name!) They let us check in earlier and prioritised our room getting cleaned to do so. Also stored our luggage for early check in and also on our last day which was super helpful and convenient. They provide towels for sunbeds and cleaning/ room service was spotless no issues. The only issue we ran into was our room door wouldn’t lock but they fixed this very quickly on the same day. Also there’s a safe in the rooms for valuables. The rooms and beds are large and great size balcony comes with a mini fridge. The only feedback I’d say is the bottom of our bathroom door was water damaged from where water leaks out from the walk in shower, so it didn’t close properly! But apart from that the bathroom was great, towels can be replaced daily and no major concerns :)

L'albergo era praticamente in ristrutturazione. La camera aveva un condizionatore rumoroso e il controller funzionava male. Solo dopo parecchi tentativi sono riuscito a spegnerlo ma poi non è stato più possibile riaccenderlo. Fortunatamente la temperatura andava abbastanza bene. Il lavandino del bagno aveva rubinetti fissati male. Cavi a vista dietro il mobilio decisamente brutti da vedersi. La fitness room era praticamente omeopatica, già in due era impossibile da usarsi e per giunta senza neppure un treadmill. Infine per avere una fattura con il nome dell'azienda al checkout ho dovuto discutere a lungo nonostante avessi già pagato al check in. Bra läge vid vattnet och nära restauranger. Ligger lite avskiljt. Bra frukost. Mycket renovering pågår nu på hotellet, bla på utsidan vid poolen som låter mycket när man äter frukost och bara en av hissarna fungerar tillfredsställande i huset. Skicket är ej tipp topp alltså. AC’n på rummet fungerade ej så den sprutade bara massa varm luft.
Bra läge vid vattnet och nära restauranger. Ligger lite avskiljt. Bra frukost. Mycket renovering pågår nu på hotellet, bla på utsidan vid poolen som låter mycket när man äter frukost och bara en av hissarna fungerar tillfredsställande i huset. Skicket är ej tipp topp alltså. AC’n på rummet fungerade ej så den sprutade bara massa varm luft.

I had a lively stay at this hotel. Room was beautiful and modern and very spacious which was great. Pool could use an update. Restaurants and cafes in hotel were also great. I personally prefer Sliema to stay in Malta as it is a bit quieter. If you are looking to be in amongst the night life this is a great place to stay as it is in the heart of st Julian’s

2 elevators was in use. 1 i didnt even dare to go on, because when it opened, it wasnt even level with the floor, by far. The other had some kind of malfunction, and started to stop on every floor, before reaching the desired floor. Fix those elevators. Got told this has been like this since september. 2 elevators was in use. 1 i didnt even dare to go on, because when it opened, it wasnt even level with the floor, by far. The other had some kind of malfunction, and started to stop on every floor, before reaching the desired floor. Fix those elevators. Got told this has been like this since september. Bathroom - add face towel, body lotion. Upgrade the shower control -its difficult to control the temperature of the water, it's either too cold or too hot. Bedroom - fix the air conditioner - it's too cold! Elevator - too small for our group of 52 pilgrims Breakfast is great! Improve this with offering white rice and fish - fried or grilled or steamed fresh fish.

The 1 start review is for the Manager on duty, between Aug 20th and Aug 22nd, 2025, when I stayed here. I checked in around 14:00, and as a Expedia Platinum member for years, I thought I get some good service and a good room, which most hotels I stay at around the world provides. But no, not here. I got a room on the first floor right above the lobby facing the street where the taxis drop off. Tried to take a late afternoon nap because I was jet lagged but couldn't due to the noice. Went down to request a room change from the front desk staff, I asked to speak to the manager. The manager refused to come out to speak to me. I went 3 times that same day, to request another room and to speak to the manger, each time, the staff went to the back office and came back, the manager was busy. Also did the same on the second day, Aug 21st, but no, the manager too busy. Absolute terrible customer service. If the manager doesn't dare to face its paying customers, perhaps the hospitality industry is not for you. I hope your boss will read this and send you back to the mailroom where you belong. For the room, they are old, cheap small sheets that don't even cover the bed, so you wake up touching the old mattress. Super old wooden closet, where the door was broken. The pool is nice, the restaurant food was very basic and bland without flavor. Big plus however for a very impressive breakfast buffet. The hotel is in a good area, also a good plus. Honest review this.

Excellent hotel overlooking the Mediterranean and private harbour, breakfast is outstanding and a special mention to Parmatta she is always happy and smiling in the restaurant, this is my 4th stay in 2 yrs and it is as always a fantastic hotel.

Fantastic location and view. This hotel is ideal for a short stay break. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and received a bottle of wine from the hotel which was a touch of class. Breakfast was very good and the pool area was immaculate.

Out stay was brilliant but they are currently refurbing the rooms. We were in an older style room, the bedroom was pretty good but the bathroom was very dated and basic...All still good and clean though. Staff very helpful, breakfast excellent and pool area with indoor and outdoor pools was lovely. Great location, was made by having a seaview. I wouldn't hesitate to come back.

Looks good externally & great location however only partially restored with good Entrance/Pool, the Gym / Restaurant standard and quality of rooms was quite poor. Great staff but overall more like a 2-3* hotel until works are completed. That’s without the fire alarm / evacuation at midnight without explanation !

Repeat visit to this great hotel in a stunning location especially with a bay view room. Buffet breakfast is plentiful with a fantastic selection of hot and cold food on offer. Lovely bar setting with attentive staff and those great views.

Hotel was very nice. Breakfast was amazing. Most probably one of the best hotels breakfasts I’ve had lots of variety. Staff friendly. Hotel was very clean. 10 minute walk to Paceville very central to St Julian’s. Easy access to other parts of the island via public transport. Only downside is that the Aircon wasn’t the greatest. Wasn’t very powerful and the room felt constantly sticky. Couldn’t get the room temp cooler than 26°
