Spent 2 nights for an anniversary celebration. Very relaxing atmosphere with dining options in hotel and nearby. Used the vehicle they provided for dinner one evening. They drop off and pickup within 3 miles. My dog was welcome at no extra charge. Seemed like a one of a kind boutique hotel with friendly staff.

Great staff; the place was easy going and comfortable. Great book shop off the lobby. Room was very well done and well designed. Even the auto open curtains were well thought out. Would recommend. The spa looked good as well. We enjoyed dinner- salmon was perfect and the fries were all that. Glad we stayed there. Heard the celler bar was packed.

The 24/7 hotel gym is closed and under construction. This was never communicated before the stay. This is an important amenity (I booked a hotel with a 24/7 gym because of my tight schedule this weekend and the need to be at the gym very early in the morning). It was unfortunate that I did not find out it was closed until check-in. Very disappointing.

The property was fantastic. The underground bar they have is awesome. We went to their Spa for a massage and facial and it was top notch. The staff was incredibly accommodating. We didn't have a car, so i have no idea about their parking charges. We walked to bars and restaurants and it was great. We sat at their nice pool and they had waiter service and bar at the pool. The service everywhere was great. We stayed in a Premier room with huge bathroom and jacuzzi. Room was clean and quiet. This hotel seemed to have everything.

From check in to check out the staff were all amazing and friendly! They treated us like VIPs all weekend. Pool servers went out of their way to take care of us. The room was huge and the bathroom and shower were awesome. Our morning at the spa was enjoyable also with massages, sauna, steam room etc. Will definitely stay here again!

We loved the artwork throughout. However, the pool area had ripped cushions and was packed. Also, the music was explicit at the pool not to most taste. The room did not have a coffee maker and we had to request. They do have free club cars to take you within a 3 mile radius but one time they could not pick us up due to no cars available so left us to walk. At night the street noise was very loud, filled with revving engines and you could hear the surrounding rooms flushing toilets. Not a bad place to stay but not a 5 star!

Staff was absolutely amazing, the room was very clean. Pool is only open until 8pm. No coffee maker in the room. Refreshments and snacks in the room but get ready to pay $10 for pack of M&Ms. $64 for valet parking (overnight) and $39 destination fee. Location was great!

We stayed in room 509. It was awful. A very dark room, Wallpaper falling off, stains on carpet, door didn’t work properly, no fridge, had a cheap shower curtain separating the room in two parts. Laughable. I wouldn’t pay $70 to stay here a night. The staff were very accommodating..the only positive.

Wonderful. Great location, very walkable area. Hotel was very clean and service was exceptional. Room was clean and what I expected. The coffee at the Weekender was the best I have ever had. I didn’t eat at the hotel so am not able to say how food tastes. The pool area was okay and pool itself a bit small. However the gym was well equipped and decent facilities. I didn’t try out the spa so not able to comment on that. Overall I would stay here again.

We stayed here 2 nights. We were excited about the pool but it was disappointing because the clear walls that face the building were murky and greasy. The patio/pool furniture was old and worn out. Trash was everywhere around the pool. Also there was mold in the shower. The wood on the window frame were warped. The big red chairs in lobby has arm rests that were grimy. The toilet had a weird smell. I took my own Lysol wipes and spray and it was imposible to get the scent out. Lastly the room layout felt cramped and the amount of light in the room made it impossible to sleep in late. The bar and restaurant downstairs was great. Would not stay here again.

There was a strong smell of sewage or waste water coming from the main lobby. It was pretty bad and was immediately noticed when we walked into the hotel. Perhaps they were having some type of plumbing issue at the time. But it was unpleasant and the only negative thing about the experience.

They claimed my room had a king bed but it was definitely a queen-sized mattress. My shower was cold despite running it for 10 minutes. There was a stain on one of the pillowcases. When I asked the front desk they denied it. Everything else about the property was fine. The rest of the staff was nice but the amenities and food was mid. My room was the worst part. The spa was decent!

I love the Joule and always stay here when I visit Dallas, but this was my first stay in a double queen bed room and I was not a fan. We had half-frosted windows that wouldn’t open, which it turns out is because we were facing the 4th floor roof. It was just a darker, less bright room and had a strange bathroom setup compared to the single king rooms I’ve always booked. but the house car, coffee shop, bar, and restaurant are all too notch. The people here are all also very kind.

Not the best room. Looking at a side of a building and right off the elevator. Not sure what we did but low floor paired with right off the elevator is usually reserved for guests that upset front desk staff.

Everything here is amazing except they need to upgrade the room’s TVs. We stayed in a deluxe room and only cable was available to watch on the TV. We would not rent any movies or stream apps like Netflix, Hulu, etc.

My family and I got stranded on Christmas Eve at Dallas airport because of American Airlines technical issues, so we end up spending the night at the Joule hotel. The ladies that welcomed us were wonderful and empathetic of our missing Christmas Eve with our family. They gave us a beautiful room and saved our day. We had a good Christmas dinner at one of the hotel restaurants and we left the following morning to catch our flight and rejoin the rest of our family in Albuquerque for Christmas Day. Many thanks to these ladies. I forgot to ask their names.

The hotel is beautiful and well maintained. The highlight was the front desk. Alessandra (hope I spell her name right) and her colleague were so lovely since I arrived at the hotel. They were exceptionally attentive and did more than any hotel staff would do to make me feel welcome. When I said I didn’t have anything to eat the whole day, they suggested the food and ordered it for me. If I was based in Dallas, I would hire them to work for me. Remarkable customer experience.

We had booked 7 rooms in total and the property had us wait close to 3 hours to access 4 of them. I tried to request updates but didn't get any info unless I continually followed up. We dined at the restaurants and spent a large amount of money but were not treated as such. When I asked for late check out based on the late check in, we were not allowed

Our check-in was delayed for quite a while because the keycard system wasn't working. Due to the inconvenience, I asked for a room upgrade. The management was accommodating and upgraded us to a very nice suite. We had a lovely, peaceful stay in fabulous room. The staff was helpful and friendly. The hotel is beautiful with gorgeous artwork and very clean. We look forward to staying at The Joule again.

I was in Dallas for a conference but needed to stay in the City the night prior... Spotted The Joule when getting bagels at Starship Bagel (Go, but, get there early!) and lucky me, they had availability... This property is special (so many details, the art, the pool), everyone I met loved working there (staff at the front desk, pool, room service) and I learned so much from the Tashen bookstore staff... About the hotel, central business district, owner and other properties! If I ever find myself in Dallas, I'll hope to stay here!!!

I was supposed to have a room upgrade, a bottle of wine, late check-out, etc included with my perks. I had to convince them / show them the confirmation on my phone at check-in regarding the upgrade, I was given different information regarding check-out times depending on who I spoke with at the front desk, and I was never provided with my complimentary bottle of wine. Overall service was extremely lacking.

This is absolutely a 5 star hotel in a vibrant area of downtown Dallas. Walking distance from many attractions and restaurants. The hotel is decorated in style. Excellent restaurant on property. Rooms are modern with exceptional bedding. Dallas is a great city. We will be back!

The Joule was a pure dream. I didn’t want to leave the property. From the moment we arrived, we received 5-star treatment. The staff was super friendly, the property was extremely clean, and the room was immaculate!! The hotel is located right in the heart of downtown which was convenient to a lot of attractions and nightlife. This is definitely my go-to hotel when I visit Dallas.

Great hotel and amazing spa. Lobby was gorgeous and rooms were so nice and comfy. Every person working there was incredibly nice and helpful. Great coffee shop in the lobby, great restaurants attached to the hotel. If I didn’t go to bed so early I would have hit up the Midnight Rambler bar, heard it was great. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Gorgeous hotel with beautiful lobby and artwork. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The hotel smells great, we want to find the scent. Room service from the hotel restaurant CBD Provisions was the best room service we've ever had. Room was very comfortable with a great view of the eyeball. Amazing shower. Great location close to restaurants and attractions. Bath robes were so soft I had to buy one. Will definitely be returning.

The Joule is always a perfect stay and get the Lobster spaghetti from Sasetta. So good. Holli helped organize a bunch of rooms for me and my team and she executed very well. The rooms are new, modern and very well decorated.

Beautiful hotel, this is my second time. Much better than the first time. Room was great. View was okay. Wanted to go on the deck but it was closed because of the season. Other than that, the food at CBD was amazing, service was amazing, cocktails were amazing, highly recommend the espresso martini.

Restaurant/food edible but not great- lots of reused ingredients (roasted peanuts in top of carrot hummus also on charcuterie board) , service just average- everyone nice but there’s a lot of probably teenage staff that aren’t great at problem solving , like room service took on average ~1 hr, no one ever held doors for us except once when I struggled pushing stroller out of door , spa massage was just OK. Valet parking is outside so our seats burned on legs getting in car during 109 degree weather in Dallas. Pluses we’re design and decor, room setup. Location. Wouldn’t stay again
