A bit disappointed in the pool/spa area. There is no Spa or hot tub. Very disappointed. The only reason we booked here was for the pool an and hot tub. Have not been to a hotel that had a pool and not have a Hot Tub. Overpriced!

The pool hours are too late in the morning and too early in the night. Some hotels has 8am-10pm. I couldn't use it the two times I stayed there because I had activities during the day. Open it one hour earlier and closing it one hour later will help because of the day activities. Staff are friendly.

The room was clean. The facility is older and there are a lot of signs of wear and tear. In the room the vents were dirty and there walls / corners of the bathroom were discolored. Not dirty, just older looking. The breakfast was pretty poor

My sheets were dirty and stained . The breakfast was a joke . showed up and the hash browns were almost gone and weren’t replaced this is at 8am when breakfast should have been out until 10am . 1 of the waffle makers was broken and the 2nd waffle maker wasn’t working either . The waffles were coming out under cooked from the inside . The English muffin that was wrapped in plastic wrap was stale. There was no butter available . The coffee was running out and was cold . The gentleman that worked there was cleaning the tables and the buffet area knew exactly that the buffet trays were empty and didn’t replace with fresh warm food . The only thing he did leave was his horrible body odor. This has been the worst breakfast we’ve ever had at a hotel . I’m not one to leave comments like this but I feel you should know and that way you could work on bringing better service to your customers. Advertising you serve breakfast from 6am to 10am should be honored ! And another thing please think about hiring new front desk staff , half the time they’re not even at the desk

The hotel is located in a nice part of town. Quiet, and a few shops, restaurants and parks nearby. The room was spacious and clean, and the bed was comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay here.

There was dried vomit on the couch cushion. Some of the staff were grouchy but others were very nice. Parking was great. The pool wasnt much bigger than a hottub.

I have stayed at GrandStays in the past. They are decent hotels and seem up to date. The positive was the front desk staff. They were helpful and very nice. Given the high price of this reservation, I expected it to be much nicer. Rooms are VERY outdated. We probably wouldn’t return. We didn’t have breakfast so unable to comment on that.

Location was great as we were visiting our daughter who was working with a company as a co-op student. We were VERY close to her location, which was why we picked the property. Enjoyed being part of downtown and near the lake. Hotel was clean, but rooms were dated.

Very poor sound control in this hotel; kept awake till 1:00 am by people on floor above ours. Also TV in living room far too loud in bedroom. Front desk very unfriendly both at check in and check out. No smiles/friendliness. Breakfast mediocre. Tiles in bathroom floor cracked.

The 2-BR suites were good for our group of golfers, giving us some privacy. Had to leave early to get to Whistling Straits so missed the breakfast. The front desk was helpful in recommending Pop’s restaurant as a good dining option close by.

Overall, it was fine. The one annoying this was that I asked what time checkout was and I was told 11. Then, despite having the Do Not Disturb sign on the door, TWICE housekeeping came to the door to clean. Each time I explained that we'd be out by just before 11. Then at 10:30 I got a call informing me that checkout was at 11. I paid for a night and did not appreciate being rushed out in the morning.

Staff was very friendly and the building, overall, was very quiet. I usually dislike staying in hotels due to noisy hallways, or slamming doors, or loud people especially at night. I didn't see, or hear, any of this. All staff I encountered were very friendly and helpful. Thank you!

There were several little things. Coffee was cold and 1 of 2 carafes empty at breakfast. No receipt provided at check out. Was told to go onine with 3rd party to get receipt. Breakfast was below expectations. Hard pastry, no orange juice, no apple juice. no milk for cereal. No meat (assuming sausage) Just not a great breakfast. I was there around 7:30am. I don't expect much but this was below expectations.

Friendly staff. Breakfast was ok tasting, very basic, and kept running out, waited 15 minutes for eggs. Coffee kept running out. Bed was hard. Room and bath was clean, and quiet. Nearby amenities were so so, almost dead for summer vacation time. Not worth what we paid.
