I am highly disappointed that I paid $400 a night to not have clean towels daily and to have to ask for toilet paper. The deadline attendant was not friendly at all. The fitness center was b ing rehabbed and pool was being rehabbed and not available. Big disappointment for sure. The only good thing was the breakfast

There weren’t a lot of hotel options in Fairbanks, and Hyatt Place is probably one of the few hotels that looked more updated. A couple of things to note: 1. The shuttle service is not reliable. We called for pick-up when we arrived at the Fairbanks airport, as instructed. A couple of minutes later, we received a phone call from the hotel informing us that the shuttle driver had gone home for the day. They told us that they had called us a taxi and that they would be reimbursing us. We waited for the taxi for 30 minutes and it never came, so we ended up just calling an Uber. We did receive a reimbursement for this ride. 2. Pay the extra money for a high floor room and request the top floor (4th floor). We paid for a high floor room and were given a room on the 3rd floor. We could hear every single footstep from room above us throughout the night. We could also hear every time they dropped something on the floor and it was quite bothersome. Our stay was fine for one night, but it wasn’t the most comfortable.

Good breakfast, but you have to go early because they ran out of fruits and some other good options. Also, the coffee is not strong, but overall is very convenient in winter time, so you don’t have to go out in freezing temperatures to find a restaurant, specially if you have some tours planned. People in the front desk are very nice and helpful with information. Our bathtub was clogged and the cleaning lady fixed it right away. We arrived in a very late flight and left in a very early flight and yet the shuttle service took us to the airport on time. Convenient and well located.

Stayed at several other Hyatt properties during our Alaska trip, this was easily the most disappointing. Asked for king bed, got two queens. Traveling with my parents. I paid extra for our room. Got same room as my parents. Not sure what I got for the extra money. Room was dirty. Had crumbs and dirt on floor. Water stains on the ceiling. And to top it off, our room faced the highway, with loud trucks passing by at all hours of the night and morning. Breakfast was available, but again quality was not up to par with even other Hyatts we stayed up. Had some of the worst tasting pineapple and other fruit I’ve ever tried. If we ever return to Fairbanks, would probably not stay again. Other options in the area.

Our fridge wasn’t working. Pool was out of order- this was not advertised on line during booking or disclosed at check in. Our floor in our room had garbage on it and under the edges of the couch. The bathroom floor has toilet paper at the foot of the vanity. Pull out couch had used linens on it- there was hair on them and it had clearly been slept on. A positive note: the darkening blinds made it easy to sleep. It just wasn’t a great stay.

The place was dirty. The staff was lazy. There was no house keeping at all so you would have to go to the front desk and ask for towels and tissue. They would tell you they would have it sent to the room just so they didn't need to get up. We would have to ask again later and go get it ourselves. The breakfast was gross and limited. The bar was never attended so basically closed. The pool was being remodeled so there was work noise. The doors were very loud to open and close. The TV's would freeze up during a program. The parking was full. The staff locked the front entrance door expecting you to use your key to get in. We watched staff attempt to mop a dirty floor that had debris everywhere in the lobby and dining area. It was gross, noisy and should have cost much less for what we got. Bedding was thin and scratchy. They put us in a handicap room with wide open bath with no place to put anything and a low closet. We are not handicapped or short so it was difficult or impossible to use. The shower had the seat in it and got the whole room wet.

Super awesome staff but hotel rooms could use some upgrades. Sink in bathroom is such that it does not extend deep enough into the sink so there is water all over the counter near faucet and there is no way to wash hands or soap it without splattering all over. TV channel selection is horrible and unacceptable Don’t even have ESPN or other sport channels in room and the resolution absolutely sucks. Staff is awesome and helpful

We had a room at the end of the hall on the top floor. We thought it would be nice and quiet, but it was anything but that! The noise was made worse by the adjoining room (not part of our party) and the lack of sound barrier between.

The room was clean. The staff was friendly. Check in and check out went smooth. Breakfast had alot of options. Our room was missing the TV remote and handsoap. The staff replaced the remote and offered a substition to the handsoap because they had run out after a delay in shipping. My only complaint was the horrific mattress. It was over $300 a night for the room and it was impossible to sleep. We tried sleeping multiple directions on the mattress but it was all horrible. My husband finally found a spot comfortable enough to fall asleep and I took a nap on the couch. When you stood back and looked at the mattress you could see how bad it was with a huge dip in the middle. Our son had the room next door and didn't have any of the issues we did and said that the mattress was fine in his room.

Our original flight to Fairbanks was delayed by 9 hours. So we got there around 11:00AM. One room was ready and the other was not. No big deal. We found a great place to eat lunch with in walking distance and did some shopping. When we got back the other room was ready. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would stay there again next time in Fairbanks.

Room was clean at first. But room cleaning service was not satisfying. We stayed 2 nights and when we came back to hotel one day after, there was no room cleaning (We even didn\'t hang on "don\'t distrub" sign though) and staff said that we should request room cleaning before coming back hotel, and it was not her problem. A little bit dissapointed. But the breakfast was great.

Waited 10 minutes at front desk for staff to arrive and check us in. Another guest went to track her down. When she arrived she was very rude. She acted like we were bothering her by checking in. Didn’t speak to us at all. Just gave a room key. There was another couple waiting as long as I was. We were put on first floor right down hall from check in and it was loud all night long. Walls are very thin.

I checked in and the whoever was working that night or the day shift overcharged my card by 371 and didn't even bother to let me kno about it - then continue to charge my card 171 for incidentals which was only suppose to be 150

Hotel was very clean and staff were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast buffet is better than most with a good variety of food! Located close to plenty of food places and Walmart. Would recommend staying here and will stay again. Only negative is it shows there is a hot tub and there currently isn’t one, only a pool.

The property was ok to stay. They don’t do room service unless you ask them to do it. Their restaurant bar/coffee bar was closed all weekend. The pool was closed. They should put that on their website so people can see it before booking a stay with them. It was disappointed to see that when I got there to check in.
