Doubletree by Hilton Hotel Fayetteville

Overnighter on our way to Hilton Head. Pool towels were tiny. Thin. About the size of medium hand towels… restaurant never opened on a Friday night. We picked this hotel because it had a restaurant and a pool. Expected more from a Doubletree

Very nice Double Tree. Third time here. Has restaurant on premise. Marquis bistro. Opens at 5pm. Great service, great food. Reasonable prices.

Check in and out was quick , seamleess, easy with a friendly staff. Bar/restaurant could use a bit of TLC from the offerings to the decor. Totally happy with everything, served our needs perfectly. Room was clean. Plenty of parking in the back. Safe location.

You need some additional work on the restaurant. Went in on Saturday night for dinner. Sat at the bar. When we sat down the bartender told us we couldn't order food for an hour. Chef or cook was too busy with 13 guys sitting at the bar. You need help in restaurant.

Bistro would not charge room. Doubted we were guests despite room keys. Only negative

We dislike the fact that breakfast wasn't free and there was a strange person walking around the back Also, there were people being loud in the pool area until 2 am.

What expected in terms of cleanliness, location, service, Restaurant on premises sub par for dinner, Charge for breakfast too much for this type hotel, so we skipped.

Picked this property because there is a bar and restaurant. After driving for many hours we were unable to get a beer or decent wine because the bar had almost no alcohol in stock. Bartender was lovely and explained that no one had restocked despite multiple requests. Sorely disappointed as were many others at the bar.

Comfortable and clean

I was disappointed with the room the bath tubs were rusted all along the bottom and we needed the sofa bed which had a huge stain under the mattress so we couldn’t use. We got there very late and were unable to switch rooms bc my autistic son was already settled.

The refrigerator in our room had old smelly food, the coffee pot didn’t work there was only one towel in the shower…the bar and restaurant was dirty with used utensil on the floor the tables were full of dishes the bartender was unfriendly.the breakfast buffet was way over priced and had little to offer..very disappointing from previous stay

Nice hotel lobby! Friendly staff at front desk! Super helpful! Some hair found on a pillow.on the bed. Some stains found on blackout curtains.

Besides the bug that ran across my wife and I as we went to bed, the room was OK. We saw what could be the same bug, a small roach, the next morning... One reason we stayed here was because we thought breakfast was included based on the description on the website. I was told by the front desk we had to be a gold card member or pay 13.99 a person for breakfast. Front desk was friendly at check-in but not so much in explaining breakfast. We would have stayed elsewhere if we had of known this in advance but trusted the Doubletree by Hilton name.

Biggest complaint there was a rodent in our room, It says online its a 4star hotel but i give it more like a 2.5 -3 stars. NOT A 4 Star hotel!!!

The staff was diligent and helpful. The room was generally clean but there was a packet of splendor in my commode and that grossed me out.

Very fine hotel, warm chocolate chip cookies at the desk, comfortable beds and rooms. Only problem was the heat. The thermostat not working. Suggestion from staff on duty did not help.

Wall paper coming off bathroom walls. Door jam falling apart in bathroom. Weather seal done on windows so you couldn’t see out. Very disappointed

I really liked this hotel. My shower didn't work. I took a both instead, so it didn't bother me too much.

I stopped here for a night in the middle of a 14 hour drive. It is easily accessible off of 95. The area is well lit. I was hoping for somewhere safe and clean at a minimum just for a brief stop but was pleasantly surprised by how nice the hotel is. The room was big and cozy. I slept very well. Staff were very kind. I definitely will stay here again when in Fayetteville

After driving 7 hours i finally got to the hotel and they had one incompetent person running the entire hotel on a Saturday night. The credit card machines were malfunctioning, and the employee was way out of her league as far as coming up with a solution. After about a half an hour she finally managed to created a room card key but waiting that long after 7 hours of driving i 95 hell will never make me take a chance on this hotel again. also, its a bit dated. Might have been a nice double tree 40 years ago, but time has not been its friend.

We made a reservation that was clearly for a wheelchair accessible room with a roll in shower and that is what we paid for. I arrived and it’s a regular room. I asked the front desk and was basically informed I was not going to get the room I reserved despite their system showing it. They had non caring attitudes as if I was in the wrong by expecting what I reserved over a week ago. These people the hotel had my phone number and COULD have called me to tell me they could not accommodate me despite the reservation, and fairly refunded me which was the RIGHT and FAIR thing to do. Instead they wait till I showed up to tell me. On top of all of that, I prepaid for my stay and NO HOTEL I HAVE EVER STAYED AT DID THIS TO ME - so, I figured it was safe to do a no refundable stay. I regret that now. I paid $281 for two nights for me not to even be able to take a shower SAFELY. The front desk ladies had no care about it because they obviously are not wheelchair bound and likely have no clue nor care about people in that situation. Then they charged me $250 as a refundable deposit. I will NEVER stay here again. We stayed here 15 years ago on our wedding night and came back to stay at the same hotel to celebrate our anniversary. The trip and the occasion was ruined because of this. This hotel is fortunate that I didn’t get hurt in that bathroom trying to bathe in a non accessible setting.

We left a cell phone and had already driven several hours south, DeAnna contacted us and made arrangements to mail the cell phone, we had it within days. Above and beyond service, thank you!

Customer service very accommodating and nice. I got here an hour b4 check in and they had the room available and gave me access early. Not many hotels even check. I’ve stayed here on several occasions, they have fresh warm cookies as a welcome which my husband loves.

It was bad at start of check in the lady hat check me in was not friendly act as if she had an attitude and that she didn’t want to check her CNN or do a job bad service

Easy access on/off Rte 95. Nice to have a restaurant on the premises. Staff is friendly and helpful.

The overall experience was ok would have been excellent but everything related to food service from the restaurant to and particularly the quality of the food was disastrous

Hotel was clean, staff was helpful and courteous. Only only two complaints… Bed pillows way too hard to sleep on and the continental breakfast charge of 5.95 wasn’t worth it. Should be a free continental breakfast included with the room cost overall stay was very good though.

Room very comfortable, facilities at the hotel itself extravagant and well kept. The room was standard fare, nothing to write home about. Stay does NOT include any completely breakfast— $8.00 continental and $18:00 for buffet— pricy and limited compared to Cracker Barrel across the street.

Beds and pillows were so comfortable. Stopped on our way down to Hilton Head. Great restaurant and staff! Thank you!

Hotel was nice staff was friendly but OMG who decided that breakfast was worth over 12$ a person lmao it had 3 things. Sausage eggs grits then the continental stuff. Someone bumped their head on that pricing

Did not like that they didn’t have breakfast. Did not like the restaurant that took the place of the breakfast which had horrible service and expensive food. We ended up walking out after they told us they couldn’t wait on us after we were already seated at a table.
